Happy Monday! Carol, I feel the pain of replacing appliances. Our new washer is great and actually does clean our clothes better than our 21 year old one. Our prob was the same that the part would have cost more if we could find one at all.
Monday possibilities: —grocery shopping —go to hardware store —practice —read part of Bible study book —water plants —help at vacation Bible school prep tonight

Woke up this morning and realized it was Thursday. I wanted to reach out to you Carol and anyone else who has been checking this challenge out if you want to continue this challenge the way it is, I know it can be hard to post daily. I am fine continuing it. Just want to get your opinion.
Thursday possibilities: —can you believe I still need to replant some plants? —some house cleaning —go get jeans for DH —practice —reading

Cathy, I'd like to continue the thread, even if we don't post daily all the time. I've been struggling to get back into a routine the past couple of months. I'll give it more attention as I get more structure into my daily schedule, I hope! I have done nothing in my garden lately. Maybe next week, when I'm done with lessons etc, I'll get to it?
Thursday possibilities: --birds --chiropractor --pay bill online --practice (last lesson of the term is tomorrow!) --walk --declutter /file --wind down earlier!
Be well! Carol

Carol, I’m so glad you said you wanted to continue. I really want to also because it does remind me that I made a commitment to myself but an also having an accountability partner. I just didn’t want to put too much on you. I am really going to have to change my eating. I am taking a medicine that can cause painful symptoms if you eat too much processed food. Ugh! I’m trying to up my fruit, veges, and eat only two small meals a day.

Happy Friday! In NC we have an event called The Endless Yard Sale. It goes up an old highway for 100 miles through several counties and it’ always on Friday and Saturday of Father’s Day weekend. Although I don’t like flea markets or yard sales, DH likes this one because it’s goes through older towns and he often finds tools, old radios and clocks he can work on which is his hobby. We’ll go tomorrow because his hip is hurting today. Of course we don’t go 100 miles, we start at the same city every year and work our way up for a couple of hours.
Weekend possibilities: —practice —I really am going to plant the plants that I clipped and rooted —make a lemon/blueberry loaf (need to use the blueberries) —practice —hit hotspots (paper everywhere) —read 2 chapters for Tuesday meeting Saturday —endless yard sale (DH’s Father’s Day gift) Sunday —make a special dinner for DH

After my daughter's visit, some cleaning with her, knowing MORE cleaning and more frequent cleaning would be wise...I remembered this group and thought it might be a way to become more accountable with cleaning...Maybe this time it will stick.
Question: Are you signed up for the FlyLady daily messages? I found them rather overwhelming last time and unsubscribed. What is your suggestion on how best to incorporate the cleaning system into one's life?

cathygeha, I also find them very overwhelming. I sorta pick an area (you can pick the one she is in that week if that helps you). I would look at the missions on her website if you want some ideas but the emails ended up cluttering my email. I am glad you are here again. My house is very large and I have probs with my knees so I may decide to do dusting one day on one floor. The next day I may do paper clutter. I think the most important thing is to start with the baby steps (swish toilet, get dress, make bed, and do dishes daily). Then go from there. We are all here to help each other so keep asking questions.

flyingcathy, Thank you...won't sign up for the emails again but may set a reminder on my phone to do something daily.
