This challenge was created fifteen years ago by a few Weight Watchers members.
We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes.
Success isn’t always measured at the scale.
Each day, think about the positive actions that you made the day before and identify the challenges you are working on.
Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join.
If you are the first one to post each week, please copy, paste and get us started.
If you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas for following the plan.

Quick Stop today - it is our 46th anniversary and we are...wait for it...running errands and grocery shopping. We might celebrate another day. More later! Oh, I will do my best to stay within points/calories and track it all.

Tuesday Afternoon, 6/25
Happy Anniversary, Cathy! That is quite an achievement...Hope you do something nice to celebrate!
Yes I DID: --enjoy a day trip to Buffalo with the girls (my retiree pals), to the art gallery, lunch, and a visit to a little local candy shop/ice cream parlor before heading home. Weather was gorgeous, for which I was very grateful, especially as I was one of the drivers. The art gallery was wonderful and the company was great! I had a delicious salad for lunch: spinach greens with strawberries, pickled rhubarb, with burrata cheese and a vinaigrette dressing. --make a healthy dinner: chicken breast, air fried potatoes, and greens. --have a nice walk before dinner --sleep really, really well!
Yes I CAN: --declutter! --walk outside
Be well! Carol

We did plant a few things to celebrate after running errands...also bought some clear acrylic covered boxes with drains in the bottom to use in the fridge in hopes it will make keeping shelves clean, provide easier visual identification of produce in the fridge, and it makes me happy
Yes I Did:
* Have fun planting with my husband * Have celebratory wine & whiskey * Track most of what I ate
Yes I Can:
* Track every BLT * Make healthy choices * Stay cool * Read and review

Quick check-in. I had an OP day yesterday and the plan is to do so again today. Lots of leftovers. Trying to decide whether to cancel our outing on Saturday with a group of people or not...am on the fence and my husband is waffling, too.
Bought two dresses at an outlet for 20 dollars each. One is Anne Klein and the other Vero Moda. One has all care instructions and information in CHINESE so no idea if it is washable or not and the other is polyester and elastane and SHOULD be washable by hand at least but is labeled in tiny tag as "dry clean" - so - Rosalie and I will take both dresses to a dry cleaner's and ask their opinion. Will take them back, I think, if they require dry cleaning as summer dresses would need cleaning a lot, I think.

Good Thursday morning, positive peeps 🐥🐣!
Yes I DID: --Tap class. We are working on a fast-paced routine, but we work on it in sections and at a slower pace. I had to laugh, at the end of class the teacher did the whole routine, as far as we have gone, so we could video it. It took only about 35 seconds! We're only about 1/3 of the way through the song! --walk indoors. Rain showers kept popping up all afternoon & evening. --wind down to a meditation audio recording
Yes I CAN: --get outside for a walk --do some serious decluttering....I'm feeling overwhelmed by clutter!
Be well! Carol

I found out I could probably wash both dresses purchased at the outlet that are now out on the line drying with other things. Hopeful they will be fine. Also did a load of other laundry and a LOT of ants were around trying to climb my legs. Seems that the cat killed a bit lizard and left the head SO the ants came to dine and had a party. Hopefully it will be merely bones when I collect dry clothes so I don't have to stamp my feet while out there!
Tomorrow my husband and I will probably go to a barbecue in a village about an hour's drive from here...if google maps doesn't get us lost. Google maps is definitely NOT reliable here in Lebanon. I will take a cabbage salad and peanuts to sprinkle on top for those who want some on their salad. Hope to talk to our children and granddaughters this weekend.

Good Friday Afternoon, positive ones!
Jan - hang in there, you'll be back better than ever! You are inspiring me to get back to doing some strength training... not as much fun for me as walking or hiking, so I tend to let it slide. I ALMOST got over to the Y yesterday, but got distracted by something. Haven't been there since the pandemic! But I hope being around other people working out will help inspire me? That used to be my routine, going to the Y in the morning.
Yes I DID: --have a good chiropractic adjustment yesterday (and my doc also reinforced that I need to keep working at strengthening and stretching!) --get out for a walk in really nice weather, warm and breezy. --wind down (but didn't get to bed until late...)
Yes I CAN: --find something fun to do this summer --do some decluttering.... --get to bed earlier (and not go on the computer right before)
Be well! Carol

Carol & Jan ~ good to see your posts...take care of yourself, Jan, and hope you will be back to 100% soon.
Today my husband and I are heading to a barbecue about an hour or so drive from home and we will be navigating there with the help of google that always takes us on roads we would never travel...usually loses satellite...and gets us lost. I have doubts we will arrive in time to tour the old church in a cave but will get there before lunch if we start early. My husband LOVES to talk to people and ask them for directions so we will probably arrive...eventually I will take a red and green shredded cabbage salad that I will mix the dressing into when I get there and take peanuts to add to it if nobody is allergic to them. It is also a 4th of July celebration so we are to wear red, white, and blue BUT though summer...not sure if there will be shade so need to cover and also protect from biting bugs <sigh> I kind of see us NOT staying a LONG time there. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
So...my goals for today are to: Make wise choices, track them all, and have fun
