This challenge was created fifteen years ago by a few Weight Watchers members.
We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes.
Success isn’t always measured at the scale.
Each day, think about the positive actions that you made the day before and identify the challenges you are working on.
Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join.
If you are the first one to post each week, please copy, paste and get us started.
If you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas for following the plan.

A new month with half the year behind us now. I have intentions and goals to achieve between now and 2025 and will implement daily as I visualize their achievement. Looking forward to what July holds in store for me.
Today we go to the ATM, money exchange, veterinarian for Frontline, roastery for coffee beans, produce stand for fresh vegetables, might get some groceries, and hope to make some seitan for protein this week. I have rat-check and top off the toilets after running water in sinks in the basement - to deter rats returning, and books to read. It will be a busy morning.

July 2
We didn't even start the list of things to be done yesterday and saved them for today. We left after breakfast this morning and went to the ATM and found I left the debit cards at home. We went to buy a few groceries, stopped for cat meds, bought coffee beans, picked up produce, an bought some cat food.
Lunch was a veggieburger and salad made from leftovers.
Tomorrow I will pick Rosalie up and we will go to Lina's in Tripoli to play cards. One day Mounah and I will go to Beirut (I will be the chauffeur) and next week there is a birthday party and day with Rosalie.
Then...there are the books. Finished one and am on to another one now.
Hope all of us achieve our goals for July!

Good Tuesday morning, positive peeps!
I want to focus on better sleep and less worrying about things I cannot control. I need to find things that I can do daily to feel more at peace. The walks in nature help.
Yes I DID: --grocery run...loving fresh produce! --zoom exercise: 45 min. circuit (cardio & strength) --get out for a nice 3 mi. walk, before dinner
Yes I CAN: --avoid all the political news...too depressing --get outside and enjoy the weather --wind down earlier....must get more sleep

Yes I Did:
* Stay OP * Make healthy choices * Track every BLT * Hydrate * Stay Positive * Check in with my sister and online support
Yes I Can:
* Track every BLT * Make healthy choices * Hydrate * Stay OP * etc
Today I go to Tripoli with Rosalie to spend time with Lina. She is here from Europe and will stay for a few months. I will take a few items that need to have stones glued in place or need other adjustments. We will play cards and there will be fruit and I have points for the fruit. We will stop on the way back for cat food and then I will drop Rosalie off at her house before returning home. It will be a good day.

Good Thursday morning, and Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸, positive peeps 🐣🐣!
On Tuesday, Rick and I went to Old House to install a railing on the 2nd floor landing and just check on things. Afterwards, we went out to lunch at a favorite Thai place. Wednesday was a hot muggy day, 90°. I did stop at Old House again after Tap class, to pay lawn guy...although he still hadn't mowed or trimmed. Hoping he will get it done. Otherwise, things are OK there.
Yes I DID: --enjoy Tap class. It was the day before a holiday, so attendance was light, but we had fun. Very glad the practice room is air conditioned. --enjoy fresh produce: strawberries in oatmeal for breakfast, fresh lettuce and tomatoes for salad. --late afternoon walk, after it had cooled off a bit outside.
Yes I CAN: --attack the paperwork mess --quick grocery run --get out for a walk

Happy Fourth of July!
My day is ending. I finished a book and reviewed it and another one. Not sure which book is up next. I had a good day, was OP, and plan to be OP and track it all tomorrow just as I did today.

July 6
I was up way too late! Turned the light off at 1:30am and was up at 6:30. Hope to nap or go to bed earlier this evening. Lunch will be sauteed onions with Atayfee (amaranth greens), bulgur, and black eyed peas with fruit for dessert.
Yes I was OP, hydrated, tracked it all yesterday Yes I will track every BLT, stay positive, and enjoy the day
Finished a book by Lauren Street and started another one by Sara Driscoll that I will review later today. Hoping the NEXT book is a bit happier as two murder situations with detectives on the job have been back to back dark stories.

Good Saturday morning!
Cathy, I don't know how you manage to read so much...I still haven't gotten back into reading, instead watching or listening to stuff on my iPad...maybe I should try audio books, which I could listen to while on my walks.
Yes I DID: --buy healthy foods to take to Movie Night at our friend's house --go for a walk despite the heat and humidity...drank lots of water --stay positive (mostly) and NOT watch any news
Yes I CAN: --set a small, doable decluttering goal and just do it --try to pull meal times back to earlier time slots --plan my week a little ahead of time!
Be well! Carol

Yes I Did: Stay on program, weigh in at the same weight as yesterday, have healthy OP meals, and talk to our daughter Yes I Can: Track every BLT, stay within points/calories, stay positive, hydrate, and read another book - hope to talk to our son and his family tonight
Quiet day at home yesterday and another expected today. Our daughter had not much new to share but it was fun chatting for awhile. No idea if our son and his family will be available later or not. This week I have a birthday potluck for a friend to attend. I will take a bean-gran-vegetable salad and drive a friend if she is up to going after chemo this past week.
BOOKS:
* Finished THREE COWBOYS AND A BRIDE by Kate Pearce - easy to read contemporary marriage of convenience romance with an ex-Navy Seal turned cowboy and a British "Lady" who wants her legal inheritance and needs to be married to get it. It was okay but not the author's best.
* Started WHEN THE VISCOUNT SEDUCES by Darcy Burke - this is a historical romance in which the female lead character's have vowed to avoid rogues but end up married to them instead. The female in this is an awkward, accident prone, bluestocking and the Roguish Lord is suave, wicked, and in need of help with being able to read (dyslexic?) - they will fall madly in love...eventually...and no doubt have ups and downs along the way. Should be a quick easy read * Next up...not sure yet.
I debate cutting my own hair. It would save some money and since I did it through the pandemic...could probably do so again?!?!?!
CAROL: We haven't had cable or real TV options for a decade or nearly a decade or perhaps over a decade SO it is reading or crafts or something that needs to occupy my time. I've always "escaped" through reading and visit the world, the past, the future and enjoy the time while doing so.
