We are a group working to declutter our spaces. Please feel free to share your goals, projects, ideas, revelations or challenges facing you as you work toward your own goals. Also feel free to copy and past this intro, use our "CLUTTERBUSTERS S.S." Title for the day to start the thread if you don't see it started.

My daughter came down to my condo, helped me with setting up my printer so that it will scan to e-mail, helped put up a shower rod which kept falling down for me, and helped pull scan bars and sort books from the library. Now I can send monthly reports in for Waylon and get a whole bunch of books out of my garage. When the library was moved during the summer I ended up losing two large bookcases and a couple of smaller cases. Of course, no room for all the books, so we had to pull close to 1,000 books from the shelves. No small task. Have most of the books pulled from the system and they are being recycled or going to new "homes".

Nancy, That is a lot of books! Good luck dealing with them all. When the second hand book store closed I went through their supply and have a number of boxes of books in my basement. This summer I recycled about half of them as they were books for DH and he had lost interest in reading them. Now as I read mine I either decide I could read them again and keep them or recycle them if I didn't like them.
Just a so-so day for me. I was under the weather for most of the day so not much to report. I did go to work for a while and got a few chores done but that's about it. I am trying to take it easy this month. Not too sure about tomorrow. I'd like to work on an art project along with doing my normal chores. We'll see.

Good Evening,
We decided kind of last minute to come up to our cabin a yesterday. I took DS skiing, went myself all day yesterday and all day today. Fun, but my legs are extremely sore. I think I have to take him tomorrow as well and then we'll head home from there. THe ski hill is in the middle of our house and our cabin, split difference.
Nancy, yes, good luck dealing with the books, Nice that DD could help you out with those jobs.
MIchelle, hope you feel better tomorrow.
Me, I have been making better food choices. I've made a pact with friend to be accountable. I"m rejoining "myfitnesspal"...they have a good food log tool and it's free.
Have a safe and pleasant New Years!!
Z.
