This thread is for Lifetimers who worked previous WW programs to lose and maintain with much success. We are committed to making future WW programs work for us and are UNWILLING to gain back the weight we so diligently fought to lose. We are here to share ideas, strategies, hold each other accountable, and offer support.
All are welcome here.

Good Morning All! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone finds us here. I would hate to lose anyone! It is a foggy morning in Florida. It should warm to the 80s today How are all of you doing with your holiday preparations? Have you got all of your gifts? Are they wrapped? Have you done any baking? Do you plan to? Will it be WW friendly? Have you planned any holiday meals? This week is a calm week for me with no parties or lunches scheduled. DD and I are going for coffee and to get pedicures on Thursday. We haven't done that in a long time and it was always fun.

Hi couldn't log on with my old user name, so I created a new one.
The guys went went for a walk, but Mike told Larry to meet him at the beach and he had the car key. My cane was in the car, so I couldn't go with them this morning. But I did take a short walk and was on the beach before sunrise. That was really nice. I could really get used to this. I can see the lure of getting a place down here for the winters.
We met up with our friends yesterday and it looks like I may be going to Iceland to see the Northern Lights with them the first week of March. I have ALWAYS! Wanted to see the Northern Lights.
I have been really good OP. It's been easy this vacation. Yesterday we went to Wawa in Ft. Meyers. I have to admit it was the best cup of coffee I have had since leaving home. And it was nice to have a salad from them for lunch. All 4 of us were really happy.
more from me tonight shari

Good Morning Friends, It's foggy here too Ruth!! I hope it burns off quickly--I'm tired of dreary weather.
Our Christmas decorations have been up for so long, I keep thinking it's time to take them down!! As I said yesterday, I will be doing a bit more cooking for gifts to neighbors and to take to the party Thursday. None of it is WW friendly!!
Shari--I'm GREEN with envy!!! I've wanted to see the Northern Lights for a long time too. We found out when we were in Fairbanks that businesses there have "Northern Lights Tours". I think it would be fun and certainly a "once in a lifetime experience"

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
So nice to see all of you this morning! Looks like this transition will be smooth. Thanks to Rad and Deb!
We had an official "snow day" yesterday and now the snowfall has stopped (leaving behind almost a foot of snow in our area) but the bitter cold is moving in! I will be bundled today as I am outdoors for the first and last recesses. Ah .... yes ......
Today DH and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary with dinner at one of our favorite restaurants tonight. He was up and out the door very early this morning to do a job some distance away (at a Tim Horton's restaurant). He had ordered parts for them and they came in, so off he went .....
I am looking forward to exploring the new site when I have more time. This morning is all about getting myself ready and eating breakfast.
BBL. Make a great day!

Good morning, all. I sent a PM to Renee yesterday about the location change. She responded. Who else are we missing? Glad to see that Shari caught up with us even though she is on vacation. Sounds like a great vacation, too! I never heard of WaWa's before until Shari mentioned it. Where all are they located? Apparently not in the Midwest.
We didn't get any bad weather yesterday, but we plan to get out for a walk this morning and then stop for groceries in Farmington before we come home. The temps are supposed to start dropping by 1 pm with winds picking up - tumbling down, down. No snow forecast. In fact doesn't look like any all week. Maybe rain on Friday. They are even saying clear and sunny on Sunday (when we go back to Granite City.) Hope they're right on that.
Sue - I always think about you on Friday the 13th. So this is the actual day! Congrats on 25 years. You must have been a mere child when you married! Not surprising that you love him more than when you married him. Often we really don't know what we're getting into when we marry. When you've got a keeper you can know that for sure at 25 years!
Answering Ruth's QOTD: No I haven't got all my presents. I hope to get two made this week, plus I still have to get something for DD and DSIL. The ones that I have bought are not wrapped. One is coming by UPS Wednesday when I won't be home, but I arranged to have it delivered to my son's house. I haven't done any baking and don't intend to. I am starting to think about food for the 26th. I'm planning to have everyone over then. There'll be 11 of us in my little house. I'm thinking of making something simple. Maybe crockpot. Need to discuss plans with DDIL.

Diana ~ Reading your post reminded me that I didn't answer Ruth's questions <LOL>
I feel like I'm right on schedule with my holiday preparations. I am trying not to let myself get stressed this year - and so far so good. I have some gifts for DH that I ordered ahead of time, but will still shop some yet. Everything else is moving along right on schedule. I have begun planning what I'm taking to various holiday gatherings and have some ingredients in the house already, and lists made. I have not begun wrapping but don't have a whole lot to do. We sold our game table (& chairs) from downstairs so I am wondering where I'm going to wrap this year <LOL> I have a pretty good idea about holiday meals, and no stress involved there at all. We are eating out (several times) on Christmas Day so no worries there; and Family Christmas is at DBIL's house on Christmas Eve. I have planned what I am making and taking and am quite content with my choices. No stress this year ......
Ruth ~ I also have a quiet week this week. Just dinner out tonight and then a HS JV basketball game Friday evening. I can handle this! Next Wednesday is my last day of school - as well as my WW WI and Starbuck's with VBF. Then Thursday I get my nails done. I do need to fit in a lunch with my niece for her (12/24) birthday. Makes me glad I kept my calendar open.
Shari ~ Sorry you had trouble with the new site. I discovered that I couldn't "log in" - instead I had to "register" but I was able to use my same user name and password. It also transferred a lot of my profile information over for me on both laptop and tablet.
I think we will be very happy here!

Thanks to Deb, I found my bluebonnet picture but then decided to leave the other one until after Christmas since it had lots of red in it! I know this is quite earthshaking news for you all!

Sue, Happy Anniversary! 25 Years is AWESOME! I feel like I'm right on schedule with my holiday preparations, too. I have all of the gifts but one, which is coming today according to UPS tracking info. My gifts are half wrapped. I haven't done any baking. I plan to make something to take to a few friends. Not sure if it will be pumpkin bread or something else. I will make Swedish meatballs and a cheeseball to take to DDs. We have not planned our menu for our day after Christmas dinner with Mike's family but it will be something simple. It's more about enjoying the company than the food! Shari, I am also envious of your trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. I have also ALWAYS wanted to see them, too!!! It sounds like you are having a fabulous vacation!!! WaWa's are all over in FL. We got our first WaWa's a couple of years ago. I had never seen them before we got them here in FL. Diana, Thanks for messaging Renee. I know she has been super busy with work. The nice thing about the message board change is that we have all connected again. We all always seem so busy A walk and a trip to the grocery store is on my agenda today, too.

Hi. Was crazy foggy here this morning also. Yeah church choir performances are done but sadly I have a cold. Working is all I can handle so not much activity. Not sure if I'll ever get profile set up on new user and confused it didn't ask for password but it let me in today so all is well for now. Tree is up. Mostly done shopping, some still on way in mail. Nothing wrapped.
