This challenge was created fifteen years ago by a few Weight Watchers members.
We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes.
Success isnβt always measured at the scale.
Each day, think about the positive actions that you made the day before and identify the challenges you are working on.
Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join.
If you are the first one to post each week, please copy, paste and get us started.
If you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas for following the plan.

Yesterday I was at a potluck with American friends; today I will play cards with women from Italy, Africa, and the USA; and tomorrow I head to Jounieh and Beirut with my husband so he can do whatever it is that he wants to do. I will take a book to read although...hot humid weather sitting in the car doesn't sound fun.Reading - behind as usual - hope to post a review today.
Hope all of you are doing well and staying cool in summer heat.
My plan for today is to track every BLT and stay on program within points and calories.

Quick stop this evening. I did NOT follow my plan for the day but WILL follow it tomorrow. It is warm and humid and I hope there is water for a shower before bed.

I was surprised to see that so many days had gone by without my posting here. I still haven't gotten to the Y....every day something gets in the way. We've had some hot & humid weather here, as well, but it's supposed to cool off & be mostly dry for a few days. Our computer club annual picnic was supposed to be last week, but because of terrible weather had to be rescheduled to August. I had already bought lots of fresh greens and fruits for a big salad, so the good news is Rick and I have been having lots of great salads for lunch all week!
Yesterday I DID: --enjoy Tap class. We learned a new little routine to some jazzy 40's music. It was fun. --grocery run. Usually would do this on Thursday, but I knew I'd be without my car today (in for some maintenance and a minor, but not cheap, repair). --some indoor walking, as the weather was spritzy
Yes I CAN: --declutter a little --find some affirmations. Exhausted from so much political drama. --wind down earlier....really, really need more/better sleep!
Be well! Carol

Yesterday's trip to Beirut was tiring and then no water so a sponge bath before bed. I have two reviews to post once I write the second and then will move on to another book. I only slept four hours last night so will need a nap OR to go to bed much earlier tonight! Mounah wants to go to Tripoli...not sure when he wants to go. I need to drop something at a friend's house so could do that on the way to Tripoli.
Yes I Can: Track every BLT, hydrate, stay positive, make healthy choices, tackled the pots-pans-plastic in the kitchen Yes I Did: Realize I was over points and eating too much, make a few healthy choices, create a plan for today.

Happy Friday afternoon, positive peeps π£π£!
Yes I DID: --get my car fixed & went for a walk on the Pond trails, on the way home, afterwards --not buy any junk food! --sleep better last night.
Yes I CAN: --be grateful the data outage wasn't worse --get outside for some fresh air. It revives me! --let OK be good enough
Be well! Carol

Yesterday we had water so laundry and showers happened - hooray. We purchased two outdoor ceiling fans for covered areas in front and back of the house and await the electrician to install them. The full moon was bright and beautiful but seemed to interrupt deep sleep. I finished a legal thriller and started a dragon-shifter romance that I will finish today. There are leftovers from lunch so won't be cooking today...probably.
Yes I did track every BLT, stay positive, get some exercise in Yes I can track every BLT, hydrate, walk while reading, and stay positive

Happy Sunday, positive peeps π₯π₯!
Cathygeha: Yay for laundry and showers...and I'm glad you got the two fans to make your area more comfy! I hadn't thought about the full moon impacting sleep, but yeah, it really does affect the amount of ambient light and that for sure impacts my sleep. I actually bought some new drapes for the BR months ago but haven't put them up yet. Maybe that will help. The old ones are very light.
We went for an impromptu bike ride on Friday, late afternoon, on a favorite rail-trails area starting in a nearby town. About 16 miles, nice slow pace. It's a good area to ride especially as we have access to a little playground/park with port-a-potty at the halfway point. We saw lots of little bunnies, and a few young deer, along the trails. It must be their time...
Yesterday I DID: --early a.m. WW zoom. Always a positive experience. --enjoy cookout/housewarming party at friends' son's new house. Brought a healthy salad. Ate a little of too many things, but had a good time. The hot dog was OK but very salty...and I probably could have skipped the alcoholic beverage (would rather eat than drink my calories, LOL) --get to bed earlier and felt pretty rested this a.m.
Yes I CAN: --get outside for a walk --do a little yard work --aim for that earlier time for winding down
Be well! Carol
