While looking for something to use my 10,000 Wins on, I noticed 2 new scales. One small digital scale for $13.98 and one with a removable bowl for $26.98. No mention of points for either. They do have the WW logo.

No mention of points values on their food scales vicki ? WOW they haven't not had the option for points/exchange values on their scales since they sold those postage looking scales in the '80's.

I noticed that, too. My interpretation: Mindy has figured out that points calculating on a custom scale is not all that useful, provides a way for people to calculate points without paying WW a subscription fee, and is costly as a custom-manufactured product; I assume she figured out she can do the HSN thing and get cheap generic scales from overseas and have a higher profit margin. When I mentioned to a guide the email that came out pointing to the web page that told what’s happening this month, which listed electronic scales 50% off, she looked at me and asked, “When was the last time you saw a scale for sale here?” I hadn’t noticed, but that Stewdeeo stopped selling scales a long time ago!

If you don't like the WW logo, you can always get a patch or something to iron-on or sew-on to cover it. I've done this with larger bags given at conferences. The bags were "gifted" to me and the logos meant nothing to me, so I just sewed pockets over them. LOL Now they are handy totes.

hallian, The insulated tote I bought has a WW tag sewn on the side seam that can easily be cut off. Which is what I did! It is a nice tote and was useful at the grocery store. I think I'll buy another one. It says "Feed your soul" on the side.

I no longer have the option to get a WW certificate. Wow, that’s changed. When I wanted two of the soup mugs I was able to cash in 1,500 WINS twice to get two of them. That certainly lowers the intrinsic value of the WINS program.

The non-insulated tote also doesn’t have the logo on the outside; however, it has an inner liner sewed in that has WW as part of the pattern all over the inside. I don’t care; it is a handy tote bag. The lunch bag I got some months back has a small WW circle logo in the center of one side. I also don’t care about covering that up. I think it signals people who have a clue that this is a person who may be hungry and cranky (“hangry”) and should be avoided!

chook , Hugh Jackman is opening in the musical "Music Man" on Broadway soon. Should be great. His one man show was excellent here. He spoke a lot about the love he has for his wife who is significantly older (and yes, we all spoke behind our hands over it lol) He also brought up a few childhood incidents which, while funny, did make you question that his life has not been sunshine and roses. One friend commented on the way home as we were still swooning, that it’s nice to see someone in Hollywood long-term married, virtually love at first sight, him being soooo nice, and coming from a happy home....I got the weirdest feeling when she said it, that I later googled it. His mother abandoned the family when he was 8. She kissed him goodbye as he left for school and was gone when he got back, with no explanation given. Very sad.

Maybe I was wrong. Looks like I have the option for WW certificate again. I hope so. It's the only thing I'm interested in.

zazzles, it appears that the insulated tote and the other tote are the same size. Do you have both? Any preference? I'm interested in getting another bag to use for groceries but it doesn't have to be insulated. Thanks.

I like the tote; it is soft and without any structure, so it is easy to fold up and stash. Since I have a bunch of Trader Joe’s insulated bags that I use for groceries, I’m not sure I’ll get the insulated WW bag; maybe I can find something else I’d like better.
