linda72, here too, that "assessment" was just kind of buried on the page after you had picked a plan.

There doesn't seem to be an assessment in the written materials, but there was enough info between the booklet and the mtg. that I think someone could make a reasonable choice. If there's something I overlooked in the booklet, please let me know.

Kitty , sorry for misunderstanding what you were trying to say, and if I offended you in any way, my apologies. Based on a lifetime of dieting, I know I couldn't eat a cup of brown rice, a large baked potato, and corn in one day, and expect to lose weight. That many carbs would do me in, but YMMV. If a person is doing Purple (re-do of Simply Filling), the limits are less clear cut, and members have to find their own way. The scale is eventually going to tell them if they're overdoing it. On the original Core Plan, potatoes, rice, and pasta were limited to once a day, and that worked for me. The availability of ww pasta, brown rice, and potatoes made my choice for me. Even though I have 60 pounds to lose, I'm always in the lowest points bracket. I live and was raised in the south with a meat + 3 supper mentality. Potatoes and likely corn or peas would be 1-2 of the 3. Even after stepping back from frying and embracing roasting with little oil/butter, the penalties for potatoes just seemed too high for my points allowance. I loved Simply Filling and could easily eat off the 0 point list even when dining out. I'll keep the once a day limit for WW pasta, etc. as that's how I've always eaten. The Purple Plan gives me enough points for the beef and pork options that my family also typically eats, rollovers to save for splurges or special occasions, and activity points in the unlikely event that I use all other options.

squid, don't quote me on this but from the questions it didn't seem like they had anything to do with the actual program but more likely what kind of recipes, articles you were going to get. My memory is shot but I think two of the questions were "what type of food ---- somethingorother --- and the choices were home cooked, prepackaged, restaurant (this probably isn't right but you get the idea.) The other one had to do with fitness, not so much how active you are like the old time questions but more about your interest in it.

DebDoesWW, those are the 2 questions I remember also. I thought the assessment would say, "why, you should pick..(color choice here) and you'll be successful." Instead, I think the big decision for a member is how many points/zero-point foods do you want to deal with? And then, after picking a color, the questions were designed to show me recipes and articles related to the answers.

I thought the assessment would say, "why, you should pick..(color choice here) and you'll be successful." That is what I thought too! But there we go again trying to be all logical. 🤣

I didn't get any assessment of any kind. No questions at all - just pick a plan and some pages of information about the different plans. I guess that means...What?

susan092907 again I forget exactly how it was worded but something like "we'd like you to answer a few questions" it wasn't a pop-up it was on the homepage when the app first opened, kind of buried amongst everything, in fact I almost missed it.

DebDoesWW, I don't think the questions were for assessment purposes. I think was just for what kinds of messages and info they will suggest to you. So a few things - I am going through some frozen foods to see how they fare on purple, green and blue. So far I have found a few glitches that those on green and purple especially might want to watch out for. Something that happens a lot is this: I search a food (mostly frozen meal) and the screen says that the food is, say, 7 SP. But when I click on the food in the list and actually go to it, the points drop to 4. I think what is happening is that the food is 7 on blue but it is 4 on purple but that isn't showing right now until you go to the food. So -- if you are on green or purple I would suggest for now clicking through to the food to make sure it is right (I am searching on desktop). The other thing is that I find a food listed twice. For example, Healthy Choice Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry is listed twice. One time with 5 points and the other with 1. Nutritional info is the same. I suspect it is 1 point on purple and 5 maybe on green. I have seen several examples of this. Also, note that the WW database on these frozen foods is often not up to date and WW is basing it on old packaging (maybe because the manufacturer didn't update them). So I have seen some foods that are now 180 calories but WW is basing it on 210 calories. Or a vegetable mix I ate yesterday WW based it on 190 calories but on the package a serving is 130 calories (which is what I ate). FWIW it was a potato dish with a light sauce. I would expect on purple that it would less points than on blue but it isn't. Maybe some foods aren't updated yet.

DebDoesWW, Interestingly, I've now gone back and the question box is prominently displayed on both the website and the app. I swear they weren't there before, at least not as clearly as they are now. IDK, maybe I'm looking for it better now. I did answer the questions, but now I think I'll regret doing so. I'm really not sure that I actually want focused messages and emails. Anyway, I see that I've now got an email from earlier today, with the subject "Susan, Welcome to Purple." It has links to things I might find helpful. It ends with the following message: "You are a superfly success machine." Uh oh. All of this is really not my style!

On the android app, under the Days in Healthy Eating Zone, I am not getting a blue dot. Today, I've planned and tracked 27 SP and I should receive a blue dot but it's not there (my range is 20-38 SP) In fact, there are NO blue dots on any days. When I click the chevron at the upper right of the calendar, I get a full month showing and there are no blue dots seen at all.
Any one getting blue dots?

linda72 I just looked and yes I am. Funny thing though is my HEZ has changed again. So things are still being adjusted because when I looked before I made a note that it hadn't changed. *Also just looked at my Goal Range and it is now back at 123-154 🤣 I am sure these will be going on for days. luanne any luck with that Search function being corrected with the update? 🤞🏼

My meeting isn't until Wednesday but I've chosen the green plan for now. Just seems more doable for me at present. Purple is enticing though.

Does anyone get this when opening the mobile app? It then goes away and the app opens 🧐🤔
