On p.5 of the My WW book, it says that just because you don't have to track the 0 pt. food, it's not a free for all, and it's about a healthy pattern of eating. IMO, eating brown rice, corn, and a potato at one meal isn't a healthy pattern.

IMO, eating brown rice, corn, and a potato at one meal isn't a healthy pattern. I didn't say anything about eating them at one meal. Theoretically it could be breakfast potatoes at breakfast, corn at lunch and brown rice at dinner. I've certainly had meals where I had both potatoes and corn (sometimes in one dish) or had rice but also corn. But -- I don't think there is anything wrong with having brown rice, corn and potato in one day and that can be reasonable if the portions are reasonable. The problem I had with the WW book was that it makes clear the portion estimator is for foods with points not zero point foods. The example WW gave in that answer of why it isn't a concern is that it basically would taste all that great to eat 12 eggs. Well of course not. That make overeating concerns seem overblown by using ridiculous examples. Someone, say, eating 12 ears of corn. But, the reality of people overeating 0 point foods is usually not eating 10 servings of one zero point food. Rather it is eating 2 servings of that one, 2 of another, etc. The cumulative effect is the problem particularly if you don't know what a standard serving of rice is, etc.

It was a little after midnight, but WW just updated for me to where I could pick a plan. For Sunday I had eaten purple but tracked FS as that was all there was. WW did not go back and readjust for yesterday so I had 4 rollover points.
Couple of things:
My weekly points stayed the same and will be the same on any of the plan.
Someone had asked if recipes adjusted. Mine did in fact adjust.
Haven't looked at any foods yet ....

My tracker changed over, too. I was offered the assessment to help me choose. I chose Purple and saw my weeklies take a 25% hit by Tuesday, so I went Green for now.

I woke up early and it was easy to join each plan very consumer friendly. I chose purple and got 17 points. I tracked all the food today which was zero points except for 2 ounces of raisins which I put in my oatmeal. They were 9. This is so livable. I was getting 27 points on free style 9 in purple.

I selected purple just to see how many points I would get. Even on maintenance it only gave me 20 points so I went with green and it did give me the old 36 points on BTS.

I chose purple. My Daily Points dropped from 23 to 16. I'll give it a fair try for a few weeks, while continuing to track on MFP and itb points plus, as I have been for the past few weeks. I'm trying to figure out which one tracker I like best.

I looked at all three and decided on green for now. Doing a lot of travel this week so I think having the extra cushion of 30 dailies plus some weeklies leftover from the weekend will be helpful. My week resets on Saturday so Iβve already had to dip into the weeklies. I just need to shake things up a bit

Kitty , sorry for misunderstanding what you were trying to say, and if I offended you in any way, my apologies. Based on a lifetime of dieting, I know I couldn't eat a cup of brown rice, a large baked potato, and corn in one day, and expect to lose weight. That many carbs would do me in, but YMMV. If a person is doing Purple (re-do of Simply Filling), the limits are less clear cut, and members have to find their own way. The scale is eventually going to tell them if they're overdoing it. On the original Core Plan, potatoes, rice, and pasta were limited to once a day, and that worked for me.

I am going with green for now and I will see how a week goes. I am shocked and pleased that the app on my phone and on my PC are both working. Good job, WW!

Trying green since I do better with less zero-point food options(and I can work my fats and proteins in with the higher points).

I had pre-tracked today and tomorrow. When I switched to Purple I found that 25% of my weeklies were eating up due to the foods I had chosen; so I switched to Green and will stick with that plan for a while. I was comfortably staying within total points on Blue all last week, but Green will make it a bit more comfortable.

- Didn't get the assessment to take on the app. After the intro screen and description of plans - I had the option to pick which plan (I guess based on what I read? :? ) - As the norm on rollout day on Connect, there were tons of "I am so excited to be able to share this now with you all" posts - groans - The hype and talk leading up to this was more exciting then the actual roll out - green it is for me - unless i get an unstoppable craving for potatoes, then i will switch to purple

After the intro screen and description of plans - I had the option to pick which plan (I guess based on what I read? :? ) This is what I got on the PC web site. After I picked green, I got some questions about eating at home/out, activity, etc. so I don't know if those were the questions I should have gotten first. Anyway, I'd like to take an assessment again to see the differences but I don't want to mess things up!
