Good morning, went to see my granddaughter Tuesday after work til last night. It is not THAT far but yesterday coming home one road was extremely backed up for whatever reason, another had a car fire in one lane and it was backed up for miles so it made all the others around more crowded. Another had fire trucks and police cars in one spot, don't know what was going on. Several accidents blah.. I did 15 minutes of yoga on Tuesday morning (with abs) and that is it!! Holding a baby does not get miles in even tho I felt like I did walk with her a lot. According to my fitbit I did not.
It seems like a lot of us are struggling with the same thing. I can't seem to get myself back under control with the food that triggers me and that I tend to overeat..there are many many of them. Jeez. I admire you that have been able to stop at the limit. Today is a new day tho.
Going to hot yoga now. Will need to make sure I get more steps in today.
9.4/250 miles as of Jan 4

Good Morning!!!
I stayed on track with eating and got in a 3 mile WATP DVD. Not feeling the best the last 2 days achy and had a slight fever last evening. Slept in this morning and going in late. I have too much left to do from yesterday to leave it for someone else. I'll keep my distance from the other staff. My coworker is at an inservice again today.
Nancy: Boy you are staying active. Great job.
Ruth: Traffic jams drive me crazy. It seems I always hit at least one when I am traveling and trying to get back home.
Amy: Great job with sticking with your exercise plan.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

Hi Everyone!
Well, I did it! I "started over" at WW with a new book and weight goal. Because my Mom was with me and I was preparing most of our meals at home, I was down 1.8 from the previous week's weigh in. I shared my struggles and what had me thinking about quitting and one lady in the group told me she was glad I did not quit because I am her inspiration. Wow!

LOL...fat fingers. I was not finished with my message. My totals for 2016 were: Walk - 19.7/mth, 93.2/chall, 634.2/yr; Bike - 122.5/mth, 375.9/chall, 1637.0/yr; Gumbo - 9.1/chall, 100.5/yr.
My totals are a whole lot less than I'd like but I am happy that I still managed to move at all. Gumbo is hurting a lot and not walking very much either. He has the will but sometimes we barely make a half mile.
KELLY, hope you are feeling better soon. WTG staying on track and exercising.
RUTH, I hope the traffic was a one time occurrence. I did a lot of driving from TN to MS Coast and back on Tuesday and Wednesday and that killed my steps.
AMY, hope you stepped away from the pizza and back on the treadmill today.
NANCY, great working out!
CAIT, great job on stopping the chips. Wish I had that kind of control. Chips cannot come into my house unless it is one single serving bag.
YETTA, waving at you. Hope you are able to recover your password.
Have a great day. It is cold but I have to get to the YMCA.

Good Morning, Walkers!
Last night DD#1 & DSIL took 5yo DGD to the Anaheim Ducks hockey game & brought DGD 18 month old to stay overnight with us. My DH is a self-described "not a baby person" and gets very tense about the noise and chaos. I had to leave early for work this a.m. so he had to be alone with her ALMOST AN HOUR before DD picked her up! lol! They both survived and he said "She was much better after you left. I told her the rules and she followed the rules." Meanwhile I was up at 6 am & barely had time to eat breakfast & get ready for work with my baby duties. We all do it differently. He can make funny faces but that only lasts so long. While I was getting ready for work & he was watching her I heard him talking to her "Can you help me fix this? Where's your tools. You need to have proper tools."
I stayed in my green zone of pts yesterday. I walked 1 mi in downtown LA for work. I did JGTB. A good day. And of course LOVED having DGD over
KELLY - GFY with a good OP day
VELDA - good wishes for the "new beginning"
RUTH - The yoga is great exercise even if it's not aerobic. It all helps. I have PT I need to do for leg strength & flexibility which I count for miles even though it's not aerobic. I haven't done it in ages but it's in my new years resolution. I know the East Stroudsberg area a bit because my stepdaughters have lived in the Bethlehem area, not too far from there, I think.
YETTA - GFY with the elliptical
NANCY - you're doing great with stationary bike & TM. I keep thinking about stationary bike but not sure where I'd put it, & with traveling between 2 places....I'd hate to buy it and not use it. I always come back to walking & marching in place while we watch TV at night - we're going to watch TV anyway so I might as well get some exercise
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!
Cait
250/168/150 160.7 is my first 10% goal
WW lifetime 11/4/2003 (Lifetime goal 169; in range)
Overeaters Anonymous since 3/5/2008
My Healthy Habits: - Stick to my Plan of Eating. Aim for green zone of pts 37 or fewer; only occasionally go into higher zones, & never over 67 - Pray & meditate, read, share (12 step work) - Exercise - Work during work hours - No eating after planned evening snack of about 4 pts - JGTB around 10 pm but not later than around 11 pm

Good evening,
Ruth I hope you get back on track, we all have those time, take one day at a time . Make it thru one day and build on that.
Velda GFY on your loss.and starting over. Yes we all have struggles, but we can do this. I struggled the month of November.
Amy GFY sticking with your exercise routine.
Kelly hope you are feeling better. Maybe you can take it easy on the weekend.
Cait I laughed thinking about your DH and GD. My DH and I used to keep my sisters GKs before we had GKs and he had as much fun with then as I did. I saw a bike on QVC that was portable, if I hadn't had mime I would have ordered it. It folded up about the size of a vacuum.
I went to WW today, got the new program material, still haven't read it. I lost 2.2# last week, keeping a better check on my portion control is helping.I walked three miles today.

Good Morning!!
Very glad it is Friday as I still am not feeling well at all. I ended up being checked out at my companies Care express and it is a UTI. Could be a virus too on top of it as many have been ill in the office. Going to try and make it through the day as I do not want to let my new coworker alone like happened to me shortly after starting. No exercise yesterday with feeling so bad.
Nancy: Great job on the weight loss this week and staying active.
Yetta: Hope you are having a good week
Waving to Amy and Ruth too and anyone else I missed.
Velda: 2017 will be our year.
Cait: Good job stay active and staying in your Green zone. Glad you enjoyed the DGD.

I do my first Zumba class today. I take it 4 times a week. The description said all the great benefits that Zumba offers while keeping dance movement low impact. Transitions between movements are gentle on the body and offering a great cardio dance workout. I think I will like it. This type of Zumba is 4 times a week. I have zumba gold that once I learn the movements I can do the other 3 days at home. Right now have enough apples for 2 day. Next time I shop I will buy enough to have 4 apples a day. That is the 17th. My body is craving it because this is about it for fruit and veggies,

Good morning, my two workouts yesterday were done with the fitbit off. I did try to walk a little extra at work tho. Today I went to spin class and took notice of my miles on my bike so tomorrow I will be able to add more.
Amyrs: I used to do zumba a lot but have not done it for at least a year. I have been thinking of seeing if my gym has a class that works for me.
Tickyboo: Oh, a UTI... I'm sorry and hope you are feeling a little better as the day goes on. There are tons of different illness things going around.
Nancy: I go to ww meeting Sunday morning so the last two have been holidays and are cancelled. Do we all get new material?
Cait: My son and DIL lived in Bethlehem for a couple years. He was an athletic trainer at Moravian college and she was at a high school. I love that town!!!
Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon,
Kelly hope you are feeling better, so glad the weekend is here for you.
Ruth they gave everyone at the meeting the new materials as well as a new book for weight. There were a lot of new one signing up.
Amy you have your exercise planned really well. I have some Zumba DVDs that I got out a few days ago but haven't used them yet. I have a Pilates chair that has been folded in my closet for a while, I got it out today thinking I would use it, I had a good workout just trying to get it unfolded ,lol.
I walked three miles today and rode the bike for twenty minutes, so four miles today. I am hoping to make the miles for the challenge, if I don't I still got some miles.
