Hello All.
I have 30 minutes for each of the last 3 days. Strength training, floor work, etc. I am sore, but the good type of sore, just enough to know you are exercising but not too much where you want to give up.
I am working from home today (like most days) making vegan cream of celery soup. Its 22 degrees and we got 2 inches of snow this morning, its melted, mostly.

Good morning, I slept til 7:30 this morning and so now am running a little late. haha ok, yes... late for a facial.
Yesterday at spin class I checked my bike and it said 10.8 miles, also checked fitbit steps and will deduct them (rounding to 2000) from the daily amount (10721) which equals 4.1.
27.2/250 miles as of Jan 6
Have a great day.

Good afternoon,
Yetta the soup sounds good ,we were at 12 * this morning, way cold for us. GFY on your workout.
Ruth sleeping late once in a while is good for the body. Ten miles is great, I have never been to a spin class.
I walked three miles this morning and rode the bike for twenty minutes this afternoon.
Hope you all have a nice week end,

Good Evening Walkers!
Yesterday I walked .5 miles at the training. Long day - up at 5:15 am & not home til after 7 pm. Picked up DGD 5 yo on the way home to spend the night. Today she and I walked to the beach and played in the surf a bit, picked up shells, read, played hide and seek, watched DH play his video game, talked and just generally had a wonderful time.
Tomorrow am DGD 5 yo has her kid bday party at a trampoline park at a mall - my DHs worst nightmare lol! I love to watch the kids but Pizza and cake - my worst nightmare! We have compromised on when to arrive & DH & I will go out to lunch after :-)
NANCY - whoo hoo for you down 2.2 lbs at WI! The portion control you're doing & the extra exercise does seem to making a big difference.
KELLY - oh so sorry about the UTI but glad you caught it early
AMY - GFY with the Zumba. Glad you're going to WW and getting back on track
RUTH - GFY with the spin class! One of my stepdaughters grad from Moravian. Good wishes for WI tomorrow
YETTA - sounds like you're striving for a balance of healthy eating and exercise
I'm going to do a PR (Personal Record) challenge for January in another thread. I think my PR challenge will be # of days in green zone of pts (37 or less), + at least 1 mile per day, + # of days JGTB (Just Go To Bed by around 10-11 pm). My best green zone PR for a month is 23 days and I did that once each in 2013, 2014, & 2015. I didn't do it in 2016. I don't know my PRs in # of days with at least 1 mile and # of days JGTB by around 11 pm. But all 3 of these factors are HHs that make a big difference for me for healthy eating, weight, health and good mental health for me.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!
Cait 250/168/150 160.7 is my first 10% goal
WW lifetime 11/4/2003 (In range - Lifetime goal 169)
Overeaters Anonymous since 3/5/2008
My Healthy Habits: - Stick to my Plan of Eating. Aim for green zone of pts 37 or fewer; only occasionally go into higher zones, & never over 67 - Pray & meditate, read, share (12 step work) - Exercise - Work during work hours - No snacking after planned evening snack of about 4 pts - JGTB around 10 pm but not later than around 11 pm
Best wishes
Cait

Good morning. It snowed here yesterday and is VERY cold for us 14 degrees right now. I took my dog out to go potty she wanted no parts of it and just ran back to the door, I picked her up and put her in a spot I shoveled the snow out of. She went really quick and ran back to the door again. I even put her snuggie on her. She has been having back problems so I carry her up and down stairs ect.
So with the snow church was cancelled last night so going this morning instead of to ww. I am hoping another week will help me get my act together.
Amyrs: You are back on the right eating track so next week will be so much better. Good for you going!!!
Nancy: Good job on the consistent workouts.
Cait: Last year for my b'day I told my friends I wanted to go to the trampoline park (my 58th b'day) It was SO fun!!!! You should totally join in on the jumping. You sound like a wonderful grandma.
31/250 miles as of Jan 7

I do not know if I can do this. Stop drinking diet soda.Also ordered a pilates machine plus stand plus a dvd player to play the DVDs on tv to learn the movements on the pilates.This would be the first day without diet soda. I am drinking water. I have had asthma and gurd. I am hoping the gurd will lessen.Losing weight should help the gurd too. I think what I am eating daily will help gurd. I start Zumba Monday. I am waiting for WW vouchers I get from the Medicare HMO I am now in. I have to pay 15 a week until they soon mail the vouchers., I joined on line 19.95 a month to track online. I got a month free when I tried to cancel. . So I will get meetings and online for 19.95 a month;

Good Morning, Walkers! Yesterday I had 1.2 miles walking w/DGD to beach & back & Last night I marched in place 20 mins = 1 mi while watching TV w/DH. I stayed in my green zone of pts 37 or fewer, and didn't eat after my planned 5 pt evening snack, and I did JGTB (Just Go To Bed) by 11 pm. AMY - I was very addicted to diet soda but I stopped drinking it several years ago. It was difficult but I persevered and eventually it just disappeared from my life and I am so grateful. You can do this. I drink water, green tea and black coffee. In the morning I try to drink 8 oz of water and then another 8 oz with breakfast, 8 oz with lunch, 8 oz with dinner. Sometimes I drink more water, but I aim for at least this much. I have a 32 oz water bottle so I should be able to finish it in one day. I make my coffee and green tea in the morning. I think this is plenty of fluid. I'm glad you are sticking with the exercise and WW. It will help the GERD if you stop drinking diet soda, exercise and eat healthy. Here are a few links about the dangers of diet soda: nutritionfacts.org/video/does-diet-soda-increase-stroke-risk-as-much-as-regular-soda/nutritionfacts.org/video/how-diet-soda-could-make-us-gain-weight/www.yahoo.com/beauty/5-ways-diet-soda-makes-you-gain-weight-143733066.htmlRUTH - It is hard for me to stop eating those trigger foods once I start. I'm better off if I don't start in the first place. I did end up eating that entire leftover giant bag of chips, just did it over several days :-( But now that I'm back on track with my eating I feel so much better. GFY with the exercise YETTA - GFY with the exercise VELDA - Whoo Hoo for you. down 1.8 lbs cooking for Mom! Sorry Gumbo is hurting :-( I'm so glad you see you can be an inspiration to others even when you're struggling. I added Overeaters Anonymous to my program almost 9 years ago because WW wasn't enough for me as a compulsive eater. KELLY - Hope you're feeling better Waving at everyone! Have a great day! Cait

Good morning,
Amy you can do this, please don't give up! I am glad you ordered the areopilates, you will love it. I watched the presentation , I have one that is older three cord. I would love to have the four cord but couldn't justify ordering it. But I think if I use mine a lot this year and if they have them on next year I might get one. Let us know how you like it.
Ruth how did your meeting go? Did you get the new material?
Kelly hope that you are feeling better.
Cait your plan for the party sounds great. I hope your DH enjoys it too, lol.
I walked three miles this am and did thirty minutes of Pilates so four miles. Today our temps are much better in the 50* I am so glad.

I am drinking a lot of water and probably in future may fully wean off. But to all at once do it proved too difficult for me. I will buy some water so it is easier to drink servings. I have 2 jugs I pour but it is hard to take along a jug. I get so thirsty in a day.I am going through a lot of changes right now. Stacy my case manager for many years was promoted to manager and since she sighs she needs to keep the 3 deaf clients but could not keep me she said and do justice to me. She said she would substitut4e when my present case manager could not come and she would substitute for Bob who takes me food shopping if he can't. she is coming with Katy Tuesday. after that I have Katy. That is a major change. So I can't be too hard on myself for still drinking some diet soda. i haven't had guard with the halving of what I drink a day of diet soda. I have one in the morning. And have others later after I have had lots of water.

Hi Everyone!
A few forecasted snow flurries turned in to full blown snow Friday and it was so cold Saturday that it did not melt. Finally seeing some of the ground today with rising temps. Went out first time today for Mass at 11:00 am.
NANCY, WTG on the loss and mileage!
KELLY, sorry about the UTI and virus. Hope you're feeling better soon.
AMY, I live Zumba! Hope you do too. I go at the YMCA. There are many leaders but I stick with the older lady who walks us through the steps before starting.
RUTH, nice that your spin bike shows the miles. I have to estimate my for the spin classes here. LOL about your dog not having any of the snow. Mine did the same thing. He is too big for me to carry him. He wanted to go out a few times during the day but turned back every time until around 5:00 Friday evening when he couldn't hold it any longer.
YETTA, I made soup also but it wasn't vegan.
CAIT, great planning for a meal away from the party. I need all the support I can get and since there is only one meeting in my town I joined the local TOPS meeting. I can go to other WW meetings but don't want to travel 30+ minutes to get to neighboring towns. I walk 1.5 miles to my local meeting on good weather days.
Waving at everybody. Stay warm.
Velda
