So here's a funny to get your day started. When you run your coffee pot through a cleaning cycle always remember to empty out the last batch of water you run through it, before you set it up for the morning run. Or else you *may* have coffee all over your counter since it has no where to go! I would lay out some coffee for everyone but I don't think you want me to So is everyone back on track yet? I know it sometimes is hard to get back in the swing of things, so I am going to keep dragging the wagon through here until everyone comes up with a plan to get back at it. Have a great day everyone!

Morning... feeling grumpy here! Lots to do today starting with watching my grandson until his bus arrives this morning. Had planned to sleep in this morning but guess not!
I still have most of my Christmas decorations NOT put away and they are annoying me! The scale is NOT inching down and I doubt if I will make this week's weigh-in. Did I mention that our dishwasher bit the dust and a very expensive replacement won't be here for another week?
Guess I'm serving whine this morning!

Deb, hope you eventually get some coffee! Pat, we have always left the tree up til Little Christmas, so this weekend they will be gone! Have been OP and pretty proud. Last night we went to Mellow Mushroom and I counted it. Weigh in for the month is next week. Going to zumba for the first time since Christmas eve. Classes were cancelled... Happy Hump Day!

Good morning! Today is DGD's 10th birthday. We're meeting for birthday dinner tonight. Really need to eat an OP meal. The scale is being stubborn and hanging on to my Christmas goodies! Hope everyone has a good day. Sorry about the coffee, Deb

Thank you, Deb for getting us going. I can hardly say life feels normal with the chaos of the apt, but yes, I'd say we are back in business.
J rode the bus for the first time to work today...we shall see! He wants to sell his car, but can't quite let go of it, and I'm trying to stay out.
Wednesday is going to be my Mass General day this *semester* (says the old teacher) so need to get up and going.

Good Morning.
Now I have two good things for starting the day: The rain has stopped and I didn't let my coffee pot run out all over the place.
Sorry Deb! That is an awful way to start the day but now your day can only go up from here. You never know what good things will come your way.
Off to get this day going.

Good morning everyone and thanks for the start up DebDoesWW Thanks for the link Deb! I am no longer following WW, however back to tracking on MFP and walking. Feels good to get back to basic after the holiday break. The good news is I am only up 1 lb from holiday indulgences. I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

I had issues with my Keurig this morning. For some reason it wouldn't run my water through it! I got like an 1/8th of a cup of coffee. grrrrrrrrrrr. I dumped all the water out of it and stopped at Starbucks on my way to work (and have now consumed way too many calories)!!! I guess I will try to clean it again tonight (I just cleaned it on Christmas).
It's cold here again today, about 18 degrees. BRRRRRRRRR!
I hope you all have a GREAT day!!

Aw, DebDoesWW, sorry about your coffee. I can't say my eating is back to normal but I did get on the scale today after not weighing myself for the past week. Ouch! I have a physical tomorrow so you'd think that would be a good incentive to back on track. Why did I schedule a physical for the first week in January?! Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning all.
Deb, sorry about the coffee mishap. I had an encounter once with a small coffee maker that ended up with coffee all over the floor. Not a good start to the day.
My Cuisinart-branded Keurig coffee maker’s instructions said to perform a cleaning process when the digital display said “CLEAN.” It never has. So I wonder: is my water supply impeccable or is my Keurig malfunctioning!
It is 6:22 AM here and pitch black outside. We’re having a much-needed rain week and I guess the clouds are obscuring the early signs of daylight. But I have the fireplace running and am cozy in my corner.
I had a look at the Kindle preview of the new Oprah cookbook yesterday and was surprised that it does not contain full nutritional information. It gives calories and SmartPoints for the recipes, but no sodium, no carbs, etc. I think this is a first for a WW-endorsed/WW-connected cookbook that can be purchased in mainstream bookstores.

DebDoesWW zazzles I have a funny story about cleaning coffee makers. I have a 12-cup Cuisinart that I used to clean whenever the "clean" light came on. 3 years ago, I cleaned it and the light stayed on and the coffee maker wasn't keeping the coffee hot. DH suggested we clean it again and we let the vinegar sit in it for a couple of hours and then finished the cleaning cycle. In the meantime, I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and bought another one just like the old one so we'd be ready when it finally quit. After the 2nd cleaning cycle it came back on and has been great for 3 years now! And, the "clean" light never comes on so I must have burned it up! I alternate between distilled bottled water and well water (at my house). The coffee tastes great! (don't know if I'll ever need the new coffee maker. It's been in my closet for 3 years!)
