Good Morning
Nothing like a coffeemaker mishap to start the day. I suffer the floppy filter grinds-in-the-coffee often. Deb and Neen here's to a better cup tomorrow.
I'm back on track and finally flushed out the 2 lb New Year's Eve salt bomb. I still do PP using the iTrackBites app. A little more work and I'll be back to my happy place.
I got some of my kitty's labs back. Her white cell count is low. The joint tap that was done doesn't show a "hot" joint but, its not normal either. Muscle blood work comes back today and should tell us more. Arthritis or something nasty. I can't get over the timing since she had just gone through 3+ months repair of her Achilles when the front leg went wonky. Fingers crossed.
pbnj hang in there
100 good luck with your physical
Hope everyone has a good day!

Sorry for laughing Deb and Mike. You too Linda. If I don't set the basket perfectly, I will find a mess on the counter. Used to have 2 coffee makers on the counter - decaf for me and regular for DH. Successful at goal WI today. I'm good for January.

Hi everyone, just checking in. Doing good so far. As long as I can plan I'm good. If I don't know what I'm making for supper first thing in the morning, then I'm more liable to eating out or picking something up and making a bad choice.

Good morning. My kids got me a new laptop for Christmas, so my old laptop is in the store having the data transferred on to the new one. So I'm using my desktop computer which isn't nearly as handy as my laptop.
It is cold here, still below zero and the low last night was a -17. It's not supposed to get much warmer for the next several days with lows of around 20 below and highs barely above zero. I was snowed in again Monday night and yesterday my neighbor came and plowed me out. Hopefully this will last awhile. This winter is proving to be a long hard winter with more snow than normal.
Today I may go up after the mail, but no place else. I'm just going to stay home and stay warm and do some exercise and some necessary house cleaning.
Have a good day, everyone.

Love wonky Wednesday. Dh is in charge of the coffee making as he's the only coffee drinker in the house! Snow is still falling but the roads are clear and there is no accumulation. Thanks to my sister-in-law we have Spurs basketball tickets for tomorrow night. Fingers crossed we'll be able to get to the game. Coming from San Antonio we love seeing the Spurs play. Still working on getting calendars finished and house clear of holiday decorations etc packed away. Being snowed in will be good incentive to get it done. Smiling, tracking, and moving are my focus.

DebDoesWW zazzles I have a funny story about cleaning coffee makers. I have a 12-cup Cuisinart that I used to clean whenever the "clean" light came on. 3 years ago, I cleaned it and the light stayed on and the coffee maker wasn't keeping the coffee hot. DH suggested we clean it again and we let the vinegar sit in it for a couple of hours and then finished the cleaning cycle. In the meantime, I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and bought another one just like the old one so we'd be ready when it finally quit. After the 2nd cleaning cycle it came back on and has been great for 3 years now! And, the "clean" light never comes on so I must have burned it up! I alternate between distilled bottled water and well water (at my house). The coffee tastes great! (don't know if I'll ever need the new coffee maker. It's been in my closet for 3 years!) LOL…but it is always good to have a backup. I mean, where would you get your hands on a new Keurig to purchase at 5 or 6 AM when the old one finally goes south! I have visions of someone at the all-night Bed Bath & Beyond in a bathrobe and bunny slippers, 20% coupon in hand, hunting for a Keurig deal in the wee hours.

Deb if we all took our BBB coupons and linked them together just like the plastic water bottles in that thought provoking commercial, I really think we might encircle the globe at least once. What a visual. Thanks for the kitty hugs

*cracking up* and now I have some stupid song going through my head from one of those commercials where something is encircling the globe and I can't even remember the words

My backup coffee pot is a percolator that sits on the stove with a fire under it. Works every time, and it works when the power goes off too.
