i have about 60 pounds to lose. i do not know how long it will take me.I go Friday and Saturday to WW. Today I start again. Starting WATP today. I moved and the key to the treadmill is missing. Since I am lifetime I get no awards. but I am going to ask when I am done. i am trying to do a wasp mile 4 times a day..

Hi everyone, I'm back today, probably gone tomorrow and then hopefully my life will get back to its usual crazy-normal instead of the crazy-crazy it has been. I've still not been near a scale. I'm going to WI on Saturday, I think and I'm starting to track again today, but will reset on Saturday. For now, I'm going to try to count Momentum points (paper tracking). cj59 - WTG on the STS! I agree about not making overeating and then hyper-vigilance a habit, but once in a while that stuff happens and its good to know that you are able to adjust for it. sunrose49 - hope you're doing well! amyrs - Welcome! leesa - congratulations on the loss! Glad to see you back.

Hello Everyone Welcome amyrs - sounds like you are liking Smart Points and doing well with exercise. Having a plan we like and an activity seem like keys to success. leesa - Thanks for your support wwlurker - You are joining me on Momentum and I paper track too - glad we can support each other. Hope life gets back to normal for you soon. I have to have a tooth pulled tomorrow and I've read that for several days after it I have to eat soft foods and also take it easy. This will put me way off track with my daily foods and exercise, so I'll just have to play it by ear and see how it goes. I've been fortunate over the last 2 and half years to only have a few times when I was sick and/or couldn't stay on program. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

Well I guess that makes 3 of us doing Momentum. I paper track everyday too. Simply Filling or whatever the name it's called now doesn't work for me. I need to measure or weigh my portions. I am also glad that we can support each other.

Hello Everyone Wow, I'm so happy to see several of us on Momentum. It will be great to talk about points for food. Today is strange with no exercise and not eating right. I've been eating soft foods - applesauce, pudding, soup and I'm having mashed potatoes for dinner. I hope to get some protein tomorrow. I'm just glad to be done with the tooth extraction and hope I heal up well in the next few days.

good morning everyone! I was trying to just track and not restrict but I've not even been doing that. My week is going to start on Saturday, so I'll WI then. I'm happy that we're doing Momentum together. I find it suits my lifestyle so much better than the other programs. cj59 - hope you're feeling better leesa - the other programs weren't for me either. I like Momentum because it's basically a simplified version of counting calories. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Everyone wwlurker - Good luck with starting Momentum again, I'm sure you'll do well on it and maybe it will be easier to "work" than some of the other plans. I really like Momentum too and I'm thankful that was the program that was in effect when I went to meetings. I don't think I would have done as well with Points Plus. Momentum reminds me more of the old WW plans where you had to eat so many fruits, vegetables, dairy, protein, breads, etc., each day. I did several of those and was successful with them. I do better with some structure but also with the freedom to add in some foods for treats. I'm still eating light today and not doing much exercise. It's really strange not to get my walking in and eating my normal foods. I am enjoying eating some foods that I rarely fit in - like mashed potatoes, regular pudding, and some ice cream Hope you are all doing well with your plans

cj59, you have done really well with Momentum.
Leesa, the support here is great.
Had things happening around the house that got me off track. Yesterday I was not good at all. Back on track today.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I actually tracked the whole day. I was -29 points by the end of it (assuming I didn't forget anything). But at least I tracked. I don't plan to start trying to restrict until Saturday. cj59 - My first leader was the best. Very thoughtful and introspective. I like having room for treats as well and not feeling penalized for my choices. sunrose49 - welcome back! I hear you re things happening around the house - I've been going through a lot of personal stuff which has made keeping on track very difficult. I'm having a hard enough time getting through my days let alone focusing on weight loss.

Hello Everyone sunrose - Glad you are back on track. We have to give ourselves credit if we can get back on track after a day off. wwlurker - Glad you tracked yesterday. Tracking is one of the big reasons I've been able to stay on plan. I think I'll have to track the rest of my life if I want to keep the weight off. I'm doing pretty well today, feeling a little better. It's really difficult figuring out what to eat for a protein. I've had tuna fish for 2 days now. I'm hoping for something a bit more solid on the weekend. I'll be glad to get back on track with eating my normal foods each day and getting in my exercise. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi everyone! Yesterday was my first day on Momentum. I weighed in, and I'm pretty much back up to where I was before I started my last program. I blew through all of my points and then some yesterday alone It was a rough start. But, I'm committed to making this work. Today I went to hot yoga and made good choices. I'm going to do my best to stick to my DPs for the rest of the week. I just need to keep at it for a while. Hope you are all doing well!

Good morning! Yesterday went great; I was OP all day! I like that I don't have to feel like a failure for making less than healthy choices on Momentum - as long as I meet my points and try to get in the GHGs as best I can, I'm good to go! Of course, I do want to try to ease into making better choices and get back to my healthier habits, but I'm not putting too much pressure on myself to do that just yet. Today I missed the gym due to poor planning on my part. I'm going to try to go tomorrow though. I may even try to go in the morning and again to yoga at night. I need to up my yoga game because hot yoga yesterday was really tough. I couldn't even do it all and I've lost serious ground. Today I have a lunch out. I'm not sure where we're going, but my plan is to choose a salad no matter where we go. I would like to splurge but I simply don't have room for it after Saturday night's debauchery. Choices, choices. cj59 - I hope you are able to have some regular food today! sunrose49 - I love carbs too! Hope everyone has a great, OP day!
