Happy baby Friday hpeterson1951 and ATF I joined a gym yesterday and today is a meeting for WW at work that I am going to attend to see if I want to go back to WW. As I sit back and evaluate all I have done I lost my most weight attending WW meetings and not trying to do it on my own. I did it with Points Plus tho and quit shortly after SP came out, but I am hopeful to embrace it should I decide to rejoin I need to fix me and I am really going to put my best foot forward to ensure this isn't typical January behavior, if you know what I mean??

I really half-assed SP last year. I gained about 8 pounds. Still at goal, but not in my happy range. So I made a real effort about a week before the holidays to start embracing SP. I'm doing pretty well and seeing the weight come off slowly.
Now last night was not so pretty. I had wings and nachos. I tracked them and just wrote ? for the points. I know wings are 5 each, I just didn't count how many I ate? And I have no clue how to figure out what nachos are or how much I ate. But I did write it down

I think that's key..face it..own it..track it
It's important to be honest with ourselves and that's what I have not been doing

Good morning. Hoping for a less hectic day today! Good on ya, dina There's a lot of positive info on SP, best of luck with your decision. And hpeterson1951 Congrats on "writing it down". I've learned that "one day or one meal" does not need to derail me.

Good morning...I did not have a good day yesterday, some seriously mindless eating (must be a virus hpeterson1951 ) I had myself sorted out by the evening, but am committing to not derailing like that today. Today is the first day in a long time that I am completely on my own all day, not one thing scheduled, so I want to find the balance in taking care of myself and accomplishing a lot, LOL. B & D are coming over tomorrow night and while I am grateful that I'm not striving for *perfect house* there are things I want to get ready. We did hang the first picture over the mantel last night (and on the first try) so that was exciting. Poor Miss Leia fell off the bed last night, scaring both of us to death (oh, and I think her, too....) She seems okay this AM, but I'm glad I'll be here today. So I think I'm not the only one with some aches today! I know one of my worries is that I'm starting the 3 week cycle of gel injections in my knee tomorrow. I have heard of great and little success with them, but they are the last option before surgery; I know that's on my mind. (Speaking of, where is borntexan???) Good luck, dina figuring it out....I think it's interesting as I read threads about other plans how often we come back to WW's, like some comfortable shoe, LOL. That was certainly my path, we just have to learn what is sustainable for us (but don't be me and take so long, LOL.) Waving to all and wishing everyone a good day.

Good Thursday. Rough work week so glad that it is the last day of that for me.
I really love SP and continue to lose. I think it directs us to some good habits. It is not perfect but it has worked for me so far.
Down another few tenths for my WI today. Very slow baby steps these last few months. I am eye balling that goal. Inch by inch...

thyme2 I used to know someone that would say *inch by inch it's a cinch*, LOL. I lost mine in 5 pound increments and that helped me. I'm excited for you seeing goal in the headlights!

Thank you so much ladies for all your support.
If nothing else, if I had not joined WW in the first place I would have never found my inviso friends and for that I am grateful!

Good morning all. ksbruns, I hope your dog is ok! And best of luck with the injections. Back when I was successfully losing weight, I tracked everything. I tracked on paper and would guess - like, cake 20 points, crackers 10 points. I had many days where I'd eat 50+ points but I was still successful because I was aware and because I had many more days of being at or close to my point target. I think it was easier on paper (psychologically) because I would just put an X through the day and move on. Now I track online and between the blue dots and the negative numbers, it messes with my head! Anyway, I need to get back to tracking and stop futzing around with these same 5 pounds when I need to lose at least 30. Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning all.
I seem to have found a new friend, a little black & white kitty who has been hanging out. I fed her this morning but the odd thing is she has a collar and a tag with name & phone number so someone must care. I think I've got the phone number, not easy with a strange cat, but when I looked it up on the reverse phone directory, her "home" is no where near here. I'm going to try & check the number again on her in case she's lost. O why o why do people not take better care of their pets. I can't let her in because of my cat or I would. I'd let her on the porch but if I leave the sliders open there's no telling what kind of creatures I'll have camping out. This is the kind of thing that stresses me out terribly, especially here where it's so cold.
Kathy, hope Miss Leiia is ok.
BBL.

Good morning everyone and thanks hpeterson1951 for kicking us off!! *chugs coffee* dina, yay for joining a gym and getting back at it. Honestly, if it wasn't for the accountability of someone else weighing me I would totally eat everything in sight. I totally own that, and it is pretty much the #1 reason WW is so successful. As long as you have a good handle on the PP program, don't worry about doing a tweak at the beginning and still eating that way. You may plow through all of your weeklies and FPs, but you will still lose. Dang it I just put away my flax jacket and hard hat with lamp on it from looking for AzCristi. *sets up campfire and assembles the search dogs for @beckyw2016* Becky, Beckyyyyyyy, Becky. ksbruns I am glad Leia is ok!! You both need to eat up today, fingers crossed for tomorrow with the injection! Woohoo thyme2, heck I would love a -.1 (that is a POINT 1) at this point
