@beckyw2016 I'm glad you like your doctor; I think that goes a long way in dealing with an on going issue. I'm also happy he'll go easy and not rush to surgery. I hope the shot today gives you some relief.
Good posts today!

Thanks linda72.So far no relief from the cortisone injection.I sprayed some Bio-Freeze on it earlier so I'm hoping that will help.

Thanks Kathy ksbruns I know nuttin' 'bout the fancy things on this new 'puter!! Well, my eyes glazed over at what DebDoesWW posted, but I'll have to explore! I think you can pinch in and out, like on a phone, I'm just used to doing this. *snort* my eyes glazed over too, who writes this stuff?!?

Thanks DebDoesWW.I got a cortisone shot 5 yrs ago and it seemed to help right away although I weighed much more than I do now.I will definitely give it the extra days to kick in.That makes me feel better now.

linda72,I think honest tracking is the key.We can always fool the tracker but we can't fool the scale. cherryt,Dang that's cold. Our low for today was 68 and our high was 82.It broke a record for today...the warmest in 120 years. If you need to warm up we have at least 2 more days expected in the 80's in TX.If you don't mind rain by Sunday night. Kathy,If you look at my stats I was over 300 lbs so I know what weight can do to the knees. However I didn't know no matter how much weight you lose it won't help the knees.I have been doing WW Online for about 4 1/2 yrs b/c there just isn't a meeting close enough. It may be drinking the kool-aid but I feel like I have been accountable to myself but only with the support of the WW message boards and now this board.I have learned a lot and I continue to weigh every day so I guess I could say I'm accountable to the scale. Thanks doordie.I hope you have a good day. susiq,WTG on good lab work and dentals.I hope your mammo comes out great as well. lmenglish,Sending skinny vibes for next week's WI.Enjoy the concert tonight. pamt, sending healing vibes and hugs. I found out I have arthritis in both knees although it's much worse in my right knee.He gave me a cortisone injection and said they would order the Synvisc injections. They don't keep them on hand b/c they cost $600/per shot. They better get my insurance's approval first b/c I'm not paying $600 for any kind of injection.I will hobble around on a cane or do something else first.I did like this doctor b/c he feels like surgery is always the last choice.I couldn't believe he remembered me from 5 yrs ago. Kudos to you; I definitely know that many people do online successfully on their own, I just spent a lot of time messing around. Well, our knees sound pretty much the same! The cortisone shots never helped me instantly, but I would get a lot of relief after 10 days or so. Sadly, I know it won't be long until I'm getting them in the left knee. When I first saw the Ortho almost two years ago, he told me I was doing the best thing I could for myself by keeping my weight off and committing to strength training. I truly believe that's how I've gotten this far, I was bone on bone then. I feel like I've been having to nurse things for too long now, so hope that the Orthovysc (the version I am getting) helps.
