sullicat1 I hope you find her owner. Even though the number may not seem local, many people have cell phone numbers with far-away area codes. So she may indeed be local. As you can see from my avatar, I have a fondness for b&w kitties. Thanks for feeding her and looking out for her!

100, I know the phone number is a cell, same area code as me but the address listed for this phone number is no where near my neighborhood. I'm going to recheck the phone number first before I call anyone. She seems quite happy, well groomed, friendly (except for the hissing at my guy, lol). I'll be watching her!!

Good morning all! @beckyw2016 has her doctor appt. today regarding the shot for her knee so we may not hear back from her until later. Some days my knees are very creaky, other days are okay. Mine are the first to feel the effects of age. neen Great news about MIL. Many improvements have been made with chemo and I hope she continues to feel okay during her treatments. Mindful eating and honest tracking has helped me so much with WW. Got to keep my brain in the game. I'm going to get my hair cut and colored this morning and then a stop at Costco! Supposed to be 81 degrees here in Houston (almost hate to say that number, esp. in January!) Have a great day.

Good morning. It's cold again here today with a -15 and wind chill of -39. Not going outside unless I have to. I may or may not drive up to get my mail. I went to town yesterday as it was sunny and not quite as much wind as predicted for today. It was still darn cold though. I got a couple of packages mailed and did a couple other errands, got a few groceries and came home.
Today I'm going to catch up on reading some magazines that have been piling up. If I'm not careful they can get totally out of hand. I'm also going to try to get in some exercise and stay on plan. I've been on prednisone with its weight gain side effect and I'm really going to bear down on putting a halt to that.
Have a great day, everyone.

neen SUCH good news about DMIL! DebDoesWW I was online only for the first two years back, I had so much shame about my WW's past, and drank the kool-aid of *being accountable to myself*....I did great the first 9 months, aka *perfect*, which had never been sustainable for me, just was able to do it longer than ever before. When I crashed, I crashed hard, and spent year 2 yo-yoing around (also had the shame of doing a WW Success Story and knowing I wasn't really working the program anymore.) So that's when I went back to meetings....there was something about having to stare someone in the eye that kept me going to the finish line. Even though I have only weighed monthly since goal, it's still very much an accountability for me. @beckyw2016 My insurance approval took forever and then I was in the middle of the move, so I knew I needed to put them off...there is a certain level of *staying off the knee* required, for at least a couple of days after each shot, so it felt like a non-starter. I can't remember if you have had a cortisone shot? They really kept me going for a couple of years. DISCLAIMER: I was over 200 pounds for 35 years, so this is definitely a *consequence*....again, don't be me!

Neem - Good news indeed! Sulli - I'm a sucker for a black and white. Hope you find the owner. Wishing all of you with knee issues successful outcomes. I got back good labs, dental and just waiting on my pap/mammo, expecting excellent results. That's my reason for being here and sticking with it

Thank you for sharing your experience ksbruns ! In 12 Step programs, we talk about sharing our *experience, strength, and hope*...I always want to give people the *hope*. My journey was so far from pretty, but I just had an awful lot to learn before I could change. And I'm one that NEVER, in all my trips to WW's definitely the paper tracking habit...*too much trouble*, so there really is no one way.

My Ashie was all black with white socks and 1 eye. He was a feisty dude, smallest cat I've ever seen...he was light as a feather. Miss him 😿
