I ordered a pizza to celebrate, it was on special and had left over credit from screwed up order. So good, I could have taken a bath in it.

SNIFF SNIFF...... I smell garlic. Oh that's just Louise. She just had a bath! In pizza.
Louise that sounds so good. And I've jumped off into the HIGH CARB swimming pool so maybe I'll order pizza tomorrow. There's a local 'joint' that's so cheap and they are super generous w/ their toppings. Now I could LCHF it and eat the top off. But I'm not gonna!! B/c I'm already throwing in the towel as far s my DietBet and my challenge here. I'm DEFINITELY paying my $5 to whomever but I'm not feeling like doing it right now. But I will still work my StepBet. B/c I have more control over that than I do over my eating and I have NO control over that damn scale. Scale-y old scale. (I just had a small dive into my own carbohydrate pool...leftover stuffing. OMG it's so damn GOOOOOD).

CONGRATULAIONs CELESTE! Surprise, surprise. Im with you on the carb fest. I had leftovers at Rhondas... cornbread stuffing, corn casserole, smoked ham. Good stuff! I figured that in reality I wouldn't be getting on track until Sat or Sunday.
Dang LOUISE pizza sounds excellent! Thin crust, spinach, pineapple, bacon, mushrooms... That's GREAT on the IRS. Glad for you.
STEPH what an idiot guy. Some people turn into crazy dolts on Black Friday... there is not anything I need that bad. I may look for some cyber Monday deals though.
Had nice drive to Rhondas, we rode around her acreage on thier sidebyside..beautiful day! Her two grand daughters were visiting so it was a nice visit. I took my time driving home and explored a bit on some country roads. Good day.
Ladies I cannot wait to get outside to go walking and work on my house and yard. I am so looking forward to that. You have no idea.. it was 6 weeks ago today that I had surgery. My next appointment is Monday.

Steph I overate yesterday at the buffet so I didn't even bother to weigh this morning.I'm sure I had gained.I have gained more than I wanted to.It always seems to be something doesn't it?That was stupid of that man that knocked into you.I feel great now that I'm not so skinny.
Celeste I looked on Amazon and I think they wanted $69 or $89 so I'm glad I ordered the one from Walmart.I don't think I would use an air fryer.I never fry anything except ground beef.Another online friend uses the mini instant pot for making yogurt.I'm looking forward to using it.I have never pressure cooked anything so this will be an experience.I ordered Kenneth a pocket knife with his name engraved on it and he's been playing with it.I ordered myself a cup that says Becky's coffee. It has the Starbucks design on it.Did you have to pay a $50 member fee for your stepbet? On my Android phone it keeps asking me to pay $50.I don't want to do that. What is the name of your stepbet and maybe I will join it?There is no way I can do LCHF. I love my carbs too much and the scale normally reflects that.I cancelled all dietbets but I wouldn't mind doing a stepbet. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza from the buffet yesterday. It was so good.
I feel the same way Suze. I will look on Cyber Monday but no way was I going anywhere but HEB today.

SANDY sounds like all in all you had a good day even food wise. Mine has been RIDICULOUS. And THANKS TO OUR LOUISE... I'm ordering pizza tomorrow. I'm now obsessing. I went to take a little walk round the neighborhood and DAMMIT there was a Pizza Hut car in front of my neighbor's house. I wanted to ask him "Ya got any extra pizza in your car?"
BECKY noooooooo. I paid $40 for my Stepbet just like when you pay $25 or $45 on a Dietbet. But I did have to pay to enter the Stepbet. And it's too late to enter mine. I'm on week 2. Week 1 was a "get ready week" but we only have Saturday and Sunday of week 2 so it's too late to join this one. But I don't get the $50 to join??? In fact you had me concerned and i checked my credit card and I was charged $35 from WAYBETTER for my DietBet from hell (I'm from hell, not the DB) and $40 for the Stepbet. (also billed as Waybetter).
And I'm w/ you and SUZE. I am no way going to any stores this weekend at all. ESP not today. And I'm not doing too spectacularly on the LCHF lately. All it takes is ONE day of splurging (for me it was the cruise) and I've been a high carb MESS ever since. I'm waiting for more info on WW and if it looks good I'll join a meeting but NOT the one here at Frisco Lakes b/c that leader is THE PITS and everyone says so. Sometimes we don't have enough people to sustain the "at work" meeting and this is a great captive audience. 3,000 homes in FL and having it so handy SHOULD mean plenty of people. But I'm telling you she's useless unless you're interested in seeing her family on her Ipad.
OK I'm going to take another little walk. I'm only at 4K but if I can get to 7.5 today then I can take today off. So off I go. Bob's still at his mom's BLESS HIS HEART.

This isn't my dietbet as in I'm not hosting it. I don't host DB's. If you're the HOST you can cancel it. But on the Kickstarter you have to request a refund in the first 7 days. I'm glad it was only 35? Not one of the $100 bets b/c my head is SO far out of the game it's not even funny. I thought this would help. WRONG.
OTOH I was at fewer than 2K steps at 7PM. I periodically get up and walk around the block so I'm now at 5,800 so I need 1500 more steps. That's twice around the block. I'll walk around 9:30 and then again at 10 or so. That way I'll have finished my 2 stretch days AND 3 of my 4 regular challenge days. This is the $40 bet. I'm finding it MUCH easier to cope with this than my eating right now. But as they say, fitness begins w/ exercise. Weight loss begins w/ diet.
I'm bushed from lack of sleep but I need to get in that 1500 more steps.

321 more. That's just a quick turn around the cul de sac. I'm telling you everything about me aches. If I didn't have a flu shot I'd wonder if I were coming down w/ something. But I believe it's just plain wore out. Out of shape, lack of sleep. WORE the heck out.
Good night folks.

We went out to dinner at a Sports Bar an hour away. I had deep fried mushrooms. Yum. I ordered a steak and fries, but after the mushrooms and a side salad, I only ate 1/3 of my steak.
Am trying to get DH to go to Huntington with me to browse the antique stores. We haven't done that in ages. We can stop in Nitro on the way and get a key made for our kitchen door. Tried to get one at Lowes and they said they didn't have blanks to make it. So, we will try a locksmith. They've got antique places in Nitro, too.
But first, I think I'm going to have a big old piece of carrot cake and a glass of milk for breakfast.
CELESTE- congrats on your next grand baby. You'll be Lola squared!

Morning ladies,
Congrats Louise! That's a way to kick start the week/weekend.
Connie, fried mushrooms....YUMMY!!! And the carrot cake for b'fast sounds delish. Have fun on your outing today.
We have an instapot/pressure cooker. We use the pressure cooker more than the other, but DH likes to use it for beans. It doesn't heat the house up either.
No plans to go out today. A has a friend coming over. DH just left to clean the other house. Not sure what Z has planned other than being a lazy teen playing his games. I have 2 sections of the house to tackle and then this afternoon I'll work on my lessons. I'm being observed on Wed, so I want to have things planned out a little better. I did renew my teacher certification. I'm good until 2024. Oh, and I guess I'll start laundry today. Don't want to be doing it all tomorrow.
Y'all have a great day. BBL

LOL LOUISE!! Your "pizza-tude" is making me laugh. And making me hungry. So I think I'll start again on Monday b/c I'm going to have pizza for dinner tonight, and the place I have in mind, the "INDIVIDUAL" pizza is 2 servings and I'm a hearty eating individual. And since I like anchovies and mushrooms, Bob and I have to get separate pizzas b/c he likes pepperoni.
CONNIE does DH like going to antique stores or does he go b/c you like it? It would be TORTURE for Bob. And though I love to torture him, I'd then be torturing myself trying not to bop him.
BECKY if I had remembered that you have 7 days to cancel a DB that you joined, I might have cancelled but by the time I realized it, I was past the 7 day point.
STEPH though I love beans, I rarely eat them but I can see how the IP would be WONDERFUL for dried beans.
I'm watching QVC. It's wildly entertaining. This guy DAVID (tall, slightly heavy gay man) is hilarious. I want to buy everything b/c he's just so funny even when he's not trying to be funny. I don't buy ANYTHING but I want to. Though Bob did get me an air fryer last weekend for my b/day gift.
I've got a guy coming this afternoon to put up Christmas lights on the roofline. Off duty fireman who does this as a side job. He buys them and the clips to attach them to my gutter. I'll probably store them afterwards, though he'll store them for his clients. I know Bob could do it but I try not to ask him to do anything and I really don't like him messing around on the roof. He might hurt himself but he might hurt my ROOF.
Also, some of you may know that Bob has had recurring squamous cell carcinoma that has spread from his neck to his arms to his many bits. He's had probably 20 Mohs surgeries on his arms and neck, and a full course of radiation to his manly bits. Well it's back on his arms and neck so he's supposed to start chemotherapy/immunetherapy next week. Keytruda. It's once every 3 weeks for up to TWO YEARS!!! This is all b/c of Texas medical care. He had it when I met him and long before I moved here I was "you need to get that removed" and he said "Oh my doctor has a cream I put on it". So I cannot tell you how many times I was "GET THAT REMOVED!!" And for 5 years this QUACK of a dermatologist had him putting cream on it all the while it was spreading. I finally went ballistic and said to get another dermatologist who.... said... PUT THIS CREAM ON IT. And I said "GET ANOTHER derm". Dermatologist #4 (NOT Texas educated) said "this needs to be removed ASAP" and sent him for mohs. A few years later it was on his manly bits b/c for a good 7 years (not sure how many years before I knew him) he was putting cream on it. The Keytruda will be a minimum of $150,000 (covered by his ins) and definitely has side effects that IMHO will make it impossible for him to finish treatment. Fingers crossed he tolerates it well, which I'm doubting. Prayers and positive thoughts would be well appreciated.
