They have disabled the function to change your WI day temporarily Louise so that's probably why your leader said that.

My laptop is giving me fits. Do I get someone to clean it up and tune it up and fix it up? Or do I get a new one. For now I have my Chromebook which I love but some of my Pogo games won't play on it b/c it won't let you download java. hmmmmmm Also I posted and SOMEONE STOLE IT. It wasn't THAT good a post that it should be STOLEN!
ANGIE LOL on the Macy's balloon. You have no idea how close that comes to describing how I felt. Safe trips to the "frozen north." Have fun.
SUZE yes I've bought Yankee Candles AGES ago (pre 2008) when I could still smell. They had one that was like cotton or linen that I liked. But are they worth the $$? hmmmmmm Plus I got to the point where I preferred soy candles for health reasons.
LOUISE for me I can go in any time the WW center is open. It's one of those big ones w/ the store. Since I don't HAVE a WI day. I signed up online b/c it was half off, but need to go in to get that WI booklet. Trying to avoid big crowds that might happen next week but... I slept thru it so I'll go Wednesday which will be my meeting date.
BECKY last week if you bought the meeting pass online for 3 months, you got 50% off. i was going to try to give WW 3 months if I could last that long so I signed up. Now w/ the FODMAP issue, not sure how it will work out but I'll try. AND AMEN SISTAH on being able to gain weight on 0 point foods. I swear some people think that means 0 calories!! NOT! And I too was online quite a bit looking for a comprehensive list of FODMAP w/ portion sizes. Nothing (even a paid app that is recommended) seems to do BOTH.
CONNIE i stayed exactly the same. Considering how fat I am, that's pathetic. I did overindulge on THX... both on carbs and I had 3 or 4 glasses of prosecco over the afternoon and evening. I rarely drink. The combo of the 2 definitely contributed to my gut going NUTSO.
So I ate ONE radish. It's on the OK FODMAP list. OMG I'm drying here. And it's a 'watermelon radish' that's supposedly a lot less spicy (pale outside and red inside). It tasted mild but OUCH it's killin' me. Crossing that off my list. OY VEY

Congrats on the loss Steph.
Celeste I'm still on the fence about the new plan.I know I went kicking & screaming into the first smart points plan but now I can lose or maintain on 36 points. On the new plan the most I would get with maintenance points is 28.Not sounding good to me.I don't want to live on chicken, beans, corn, peas and ff plain Greek yogurt for the rest of my life. There is an online calculator with the different points programs so I may just stay on SP as it is now.On next Tuesday's tracker it has already changed my points to 28.Thank goodness I get a lot of fit points b/c if I stay with 21 weeklies I would be in the hole every week.

We went to Cowboy Chicken and had rotisserie chicken, a salad (had to pick out the onions and cabbage), spinach. Gave Bob my roll which IMHO is the best part of Cowboy Chicken. My stomach is finally settling down. I think a radish on an empty stomach wasn't advisable even if it's OK on the list. Kind of 2 steps forward and 1 step back.
BECKY not sure why but I was laughing out loud at you living on "chicken, beans, corn, peas and FF yogurt". I was imagining that on a plate. How... how... PALE! hahaha. And I'd be screwed since I can't have beans of any kind, peas, or any yogurt and only 1/2 cob of corn/day. And I don't LIKE chicken breast. So I guess I'll live on..... oh boy I'm screwed.
SANDY though I know the tree and decorations are an effort, I think not just for Katy but maybe for you and Dale and the entire family, the end result will be good for y'all. Bitter sweet but concentrate on the sweet.
Good for you on the loss STEPH!!

Celeste all that food on one plate would be boring. When I do eat corn on cob I only eat the mini's.Dang on SF you can still have a baked tater. If you go to your meeting let us know how it goes...23 points a day isn't much unless you overeat on 0 point foods.

I think I will love the new plan. I love both corn and beans but haven't been eating them due to the points. If I can have corn and peas, maybe I won't want so many potatoes. And I've ALWAYS been a fan of beans.

Going to ww shortly, the last one with the old program. We had a leader one time that would always give us the plan ahead of time.

BECKY my doctor said I could have potatoes in moderation and just to stay away from the peel, which is my fave part of a baked potato. Since I weigh so much more than you, when I go on my WW page, I get 30 SP and 35 weekly when I move the page to next week. We'll see. I mean I haven't weighed in yet. Maybe I'll get 30 SP!!
SANDY do you think you can find that chest of drawers or are you going to have to buy either used or unfinished, and paint it yourself? My neighbor in Plano used to do that for her grandchild. She could make the crappiest used furniture and dress it up for her grandchild so it was a work of art. Gosh the dressing table she made... pink tulle skirt around it. We used to watch her work her magic in her garage and we'd call her Martha Stewart.
CONNIE I too LOVE beans. Bean soup, stew, chili. But that's a big NO on Fodmap. SOme of the main offenders are garlic and onions (and I'm Italian so this is HARD), followed by legumes, then cruciferous veggies, then gluten, and then certain fruits and veggies. I thought Paleo was hard? This is way worse. But I'm surprised I CAN have 1/2 corn on cob (with caution) but no peas of any kind. Snap peas or green peas ... no peas allowed.
LOUISE great on the 6.2. Are you doing LCHF or WW?
I had a pitiful night last night. No sleep, pain (from 1 radish?) but... it is what it is and thankfully I don't need to wake up and go to work! I'd be in deep doo-doo.
Nothing but a nice walk planned for today. Making beef stew. Simple w/ small amount of potatoes and some carrots and celery. NO ONIONS... whaaaaaaaaaaa crying like LUCY!!!!!

Hi all – so far been a really nice day here. I slept in! YAY - then vacuumed up dog hair and straightened up a bit, washed dishes and cleaned up the kitchen, shredded some papers, went out to get gas and drive around the block , lol. I’ve been doing a lot of porch sittin’ today as well, during which, my GF called from MI and we chatted up a storm. It’s beautiful out! Lulu is enjoying just lying in the yard taking in the sun. CELESTE - I finally found somewhere that says what “FODMAP” stands for – it was bugging me to death (not that I can pronounce all those, lol). Basically it eliminates the carbohydrates that tend to cause/aggravate IBS? I hope it works for you! (sounds tough to me) You may have already looked here: www.ibsdiets.org/fodmap-diet/. That’s where I found what FODMAP was - I didn't look at everything but didn't see much in the way of portion talk. My favorite candles are Swan Creek soy candles, but I was thinking of getting a couple personalized candles for gifts – Yankee Candle has those you can put photographs on the jar. I ordered and already received the print by Sandi Sisti that I ordered for Chase. Now to get to Michaels to have it framed. I also bought one for me hehe: fineartamerica.com/featured/invincible-sandy-sisti.html - I’ll get it framed at a later date. CONNIE I weighed this am and am right there with you. Looks like as of today, I’ve gained 1#. Not pretty. SANDY glad you had a nice memory making day with your Mom’s ornaments. I saved a couple of things from my Mom’s ornaments that I just loved – no one else would probably, but they have such good memories. And that’s a really nice idea for Christmas at your Mom’s house. STEPH good for you on that loss! WooHoo LOUISE – WTG!! Whatever you are doing – keep up that momentum. I would LOVE to see a 6# loss…and that will happen when I work at it. ANGIE enjoy your trip and family time. BECKY you’ve really got this WW thing down. And it shows. OK so maybe I need to check out the new plan and see what it’s all about. More than anything, I need to get back to cutting out those carbs and eating protein and vegetables. And less of everything. And apply myself. Been thinking of driving to MI in December… 1,100 +/- miles – 2 days. I’m going to check out options of rental car, one way/fly back, all that stuff. At least I have a little time yet to make plans. Enjoy the day – my porch is calling me once again.

Celeste you could possibly get 30 points but most people are getting 23.The website and app are currently down. It's already starting??? On the IBS diet you can have lactose free milk and yogurt but the yogurt has 25 carb grams so I stick with the lactose free milk.
Congrats on loss Louise. Is that in 1 week?
Suze not so much on the WW thing.I'm still under the high end of my goal weight but not by much. It's aggravating today not being able to track.Have fun on your porch.
