My weight is exactly the same. As I said, I'm just going to write someone a check for $5 b/c I need to get my gut in order before I worry about weight loss. Not sure if I start back on WW how I can Low Fodmap it but I can only try. If it doesn't work... so be it. But I think by working w/ mostly Simply Filling foods, I should be able to. I'll go next WEdnesday to a meeting.

HOLY MACARONI! I did some research on the price of Xifaxin which is not covered "by most insurance or Medicare" according to the information. It's $1,800 WITH a manufacturer's or GoodRx coupon for a w week course. I DON'T THINK SO!! FODMAP it is!
Crazy.

Celeste if you go to WW they will probably have the new plan materials out on Wednesday.I went back to online only so I don't know if I can even go back to a meeting just to get the materials.I did hear simply filling isn't changing with the new plan.I haven't decided if I'm going to stick with SP(I definitely know how many points are in my foods)or try the tweaked plan. With my diabetes it was odd.It started going down after just 3 months on WW but I was so strict on myself back then. Now I'm eating desserts again so who knows what my A1C will be next year.I know your gut issues are different than mine but when I tried the low fodmap list I never stuck to the portions they gave on the list.As for garlic and onions I used the garlic and onion powder which it said not to do and it never bothered me.I still have the shopping list saved on my laptop.Maybe I ought to look at it again.
I thought I would get the prize for the biggest gainer in November but I actually ended up losing 1.8.My weight stats aren't current but WI isn't until Saturday so I'm not changing it until then.I am below the upper end of my goal but just barely.WW has temporarily disabled the changing the day of your WI so you know things are changing.
Congrats on your loss Sandy.I'm sure it isn't the way you wanted to lose it but I hope and pray things are getting easier for you now.

CELESTE- Sorry, Toots, but you are going to have to shell out TEN DOLLARS if you lose this challenge. I suggested $5 and the group decided to raise the stakes......So, you best start saving up! This could be good incentive for you. Our money could help you buy the Xifaxin!
I'm hoping to sleep better today. I haven't gotten more than 4 hours sleep either of the last 2 days. It definitely causes a low tolerance for BS at work. I need sleep so my co-workers don't drive me over the edge. Before I turn in, I'll leave you with these gems:
***********
Did you hear about the criminal who stole the Advent Calendar? He got 24 days.
***********
Patient: " Doc, I must be losing it because I think I have turned into a bell." Doctor: " I'm sure I can help you. Just take these pills twice a day for ten days. And if you don't feel better, just give me a ring."
************

Hey all – just a quick check in because it’s gonna be a busy Friday! My gosh, everyone must be clearing off their desks, and it seems to be ending up on mine.
ANGIE no boot yet. I go back on Monday for a checkup and am hoping the graft did what it is supposed to do. He said I may need another, but we’ll just have to see. So nope, no walking yet.
The most bothersome part right now is my foot swells something awful, the top of my foot below my toes, foot pad area and toes themselves are really swollen and there is a lot of pressure. I elevated it last night on a pillow and it went down, went to bed and it swelled right up. I need to get walking I tell ya!
Oh yeah – that tracking thing! It works and I need to get busy at it. I am also starting over the arm challenge today, as I got off track a couple days.
SANDY you’ve been successful on the lchf program – WTG. Keep it up.
Yep, just let me know where to send the check. It’s not me!
BECKY good for you on that November loss!
Waving to everyone…. I need to get crackin’ here.

Well Michaels took longer and cost more than I planned, but I love my mantle. The first garland I saw was 36.00 and since I needed two, I said no way even on sale.

BECKY I'm wondering if this coming week, WW might be crowded due to the new info being released. So I wanted to get my paperwork completed. But i woke up too late to go today to the center. I'll probably just wait until Wednesday at this point. And yeah on the portions. Like they say I can have 1/2 cup of vegetable juice for instance, and that's low FODMAP. But go to 1 cup and it's high. But my list isn't very good b/c mostly it doesn't have portion suggestions. Is your list (w/ portions) online? If you find it could you send it to me? There's lots of conflicting info. One thing I had said NO ONIONS or GARLIC but I could use garlic and onion powder. Another said NONE. PERIOD. One said green beans were OK, 1 said NONE and 1 said up to 12 green beans. I'm a bit confused. Anyway for 2 weeks I'm sticking to it as closely as possible, then I'll start adding things back as the doc suggested. And onions will be #1, and garlic #2. I'm Italian. We use that stuff like candy.
LOL CONNIE I forgot. $10. In that case I'm going to start losing hahaha. Yeah I'm good for $10 and will happily give it to whomever committed to the challenge who wins. So now I'm just rooting for all y'all. And I'm groaning AND laughing at your "gems."
UGH SUZE on your swollen tootsies. You keep reminding me of why I do NOT want to have this bone spur removed from my left foot. 3 months from now you'll be almost normal but right now? I don't want to go thru that crap. I'm TOO OLD.
LOUISE when I built this house I elected not to pay extra for a fireplace and it was 100% the right decision for me. I don't miss the fireplace at all. But I DO miss the mantle. Maybe I'll have a mantle built over Bob's big ass TV.
Feeling a bit better. My guts are not 100% but I think this weird peppermint IBGard and FDGard are helping a LOT. As is the low FODMAP. I'm currently no longer one HUGE GAS BAG.

Packed, car is loaded & had gas .... just need the Grandpa so we can head north AGAIN. Should be the last trip that direction for the year. Family birthday party tomorrow ... can’t believe Cara will be 6 🎂 next Wednesday!
Connie...cute jokes! Hope I can remember them to share.
Celeste...yeah on the tummy feeling better. That has to be the main priority right now. And so glad you are back to earth rather than hovering like a Macy’s balloon 🎈
Sandy & Becky ....congrats on the nice losses! I ended the month with a small loss, too....which I’ll take! The next month is going to be a real challenge food wise with parties & festivities. Steady as she goes, mates!
Steph....run run run ...but TGIF right?
Louise...Michaels can be a dangerous (expensive) outing...lol
Suze...sending healing & shrinking vibes for your foot. I prescribe a nice beverage while sitting with that foot up this evening....you owe it to yourself.
Connie....lol on not calling Floyd to assemble the Christmas surprises!
Garage door just opened...on the road soon! Bbl

Celeste WW is having a meetings special. You can join for $1 and get 1 month free if you sign up for a 3 month meetings subscription. It looks like it averages $7/week.Online only is cheaper than that.I was able to set my laptop forward to 12/9 and could see the changes. Not much changes for me so I'm still on the fence.Even being on maintenance I would get 28 SP.Eggs, eggbeaters, beans and chicken changed to 0 and I think ff plain Greek yogurt will be 0 points but I don't really want to start weighing yogurt again.WW members seem to be so excited???You can gain weight on 0 point foods as well as pointy foods.
The bookmark for my fodmap list expired.I didn't know they could do that.I noticed however there were IBS diets and there are some fodmap diet lists but they all seemed limited in details.Garlic and onion powders have never bothered me.I don't see how eating more than 1/2 cup green beans can hurt anybody. My NP said legumes were more likely to hurt you than anything but again everyone is different and no kind of bean seems to irritate my gut anymore.I just googled again and I can't find a single list with portion sizes. There is a website called ibsdiets.org but still no portion sizes.
Have fun Angie.
I think I even saw Yankee candles in Walmart Suze but I didn't look at prices.
BBL.

Well, I gained 0.8 pounds in November. Considering how far off the rails I was, that is a good result. Need to get busy again.
