LOUISE though I don't know HOW it happens, it makes sense for things changing on your normal WI day b/c mine is exactly the same still. Maybe we'll get some secret hand shake that will enable us to track via the new program.
CONNIE??? CHRISTMAS SHOPPING? Other than buying my DDIL a whole house deep cleaning by a local (to her) service, I've got NOTHIN'. I mean I think I got her Amazon Prime (not sure if I actually DID IT.) My son? Nothing. My DD? nothing. My DSIL? He wanted some Le Creuset utensils like spatulas and basting brushes so that's what he's getting.
BOB? he was easy. We're going on a cruise in January so I'm buying him an "all you can drink" package so he can have plenty of wine, sodas and cocktails.
Oh and Kristin did an Amazon wish list for Rolo McFlurrie so I got everything on the list. That was easy.
But mainly it's my kids that are the issue. UGH ick yuck I never know what to get them but then... they're in the same boat as I am.
SANDY Bob's not taking me anyplace b/c of my FODMAP diet. It's so restricting. So we'll have leftover vegetable beef soup and then off to bunco for me. Maybe we'll go to a real nice steak house this weekend b/d I know a place that only uses salt and pepper on their steaks, and you get a HUGE glazed carrots (maple syrup which I can have) and I can have a baked potato w/ a little butter, cheese, and bacon (not the say I like it but I'll survive.) Keeping my head out of the bread basket will be the hard part. Cuz Mamma loves her some bread.

CONNIE are you making sweater cookies again? Those are so creative.
Good news and so so news: Much progress made this week, but still not 100%. However i can move my foot around without pain and doc could put pressure on repair sites with no pain so inside tendons/screws/bone removals sites seem to be ahead of exterior. He left graft in place, added medicinal honey and Still off my foot. I can do this. One week at a time.
I made a stop at Kroger in Sachse (real city vs where i live) and OMG so many things! Variety! Salads! Huge deli! International foods! Real bakery. Makes me laugh because it reminds me of my mom....she could wander the "new Kroger" for an hour or better looking, walking her empty cart around. Dad would sit on the bench outside and wait.
Im whupped. Bbl

Angie- where did you see that online only members can attend a free meeting? We don't have to weigh in, do we?
I need to get up early and color my hair before quilt guild. I'm too tired to stay up and do it tonight.
I got each of the gals at quilt guild a little gift. It's just a little stuffed animal with Velcro on their hands that can hold a wheel of straight pins. In a perfect world, the center of the pin wheel would be large enough for the Velcro on the hands to meet and hold the pins in place. Of course, we don't live in a perfect world, so I had to add Velcro dots to the wheel of pins....aaaaand I ran out of Velcro dots. So, I either need to make an early morning Walmart run, or just tell the gals I ran out of Velcro. And there is the possibility that the ones I got done before I ran out will be enough.....I don't have a head count for how many will be there. I'll see how much time/energy I have in the morning and then decide.

Ready to head to quilt guild. Hair has been colored, but decided not to worry about the Velcro. It'll be fine.

Good morning ! Late start for my day .... Stayed up late to get a photo card ordered...searched quite a while to see if I had any pics of all 4 DGKs together that were decent....but with that crew someone is always moving, has a hand over their face, etc. Finally found a few that were ok & got the order placed.
Connie...good call on the Velcro dots....I would imagine that if their item needs one, the ladies either have some on hand or won't mind getting their own....no big deal, and it sounds like a cute idea that they will appreciate. enjoy!
Suze...sounds like a little progress with the foot....literally baby steps....but in the right direction. Yeah on good customer service when picking up your groceries!
Celeste....wondered what you were doing for Rolo Mc for Christmas....pretty little yet, but still some fun developmentally great things out there. My dgs x3' are all getting trucks...lots of moving parts, lights, & a little noise, too. Oh boy!
Sandy....hope your dgd has a great b-ball season!
Becky....I debated between the FB charge & Alta....decided the thinner band was more to my liking....not that it matters at this point....grrr. I did call Kohls yesterday & they will investigate & be in contact....which probably just means rather than telling me right now, "too bad, so sad" they will wait 7-10 days to do so. Not a thing I can do about it so just need to let it go...and at least I did get & have spent) the kohls cash I received for making the purchase.
We got a dusting of SNโ๏ธW last night.....kind of puts me in the mood. I'm cranking up the Christmas music & getting this place decorated today ๐

Only made it a 1/2 day. Sub showed up at noon and I left. Have all my sub plans laid out for the rest of the week. I leave for Nashville tomorrow. But first, I have a dr appt at 2:30 and will get my Zpac. Need to start packing. Of course, I always leave it until the last minute. Even sick, I'm still looking forward to this trip. I'll post when I get a chance later.

**PERK** HONEY? Can I like your foot, Suze? Also what non texans need to know, Sachse is pronounces SACK-see. Like Mexia is pronounced muh-HAY-yuh. Waxahachie is WOCKS -a-hatchie. Gruene is GREEN Burnet is BURN it Bexar is Bay urr Boerne is Bern-ie The Pedernales RIver is the PERD an Alice. Refugio is re FUR ee oh (WTF?) Buda is BYOO duh Palestine is Pal us TEEN Sibolo is SEE-o-lo
I live in Frisco which is pronouced "Flaga-two-TSEE"
YEAH SANDY about 9:30 last night it started winding, lightning and POURING here and for whatever reason I went out in the rain and it was the COLDEST rain and I was drenched in under 5 minutes. AND COLD.
CONNIE under "don't sweat the small things" I think Velcro qualifies.
WHOOOA ANGIE... SNOW? It's freezing here today aka 48 but feels like 42!
UGH STEP I hate traveling sick. Don't get an ear infection. Keep decongestant going.
I may now hae a change of plans. Instead of CHRISTMAS eve w/ Bob and then Xmas day for lunch w/ my 39 Jewish friends, and dinner w/ my Gumbo Makin' 'Bama friends, I may fly to see Rolo McFlurrie. I'm on the edge right now. Probably better to leave things as they lie. And 1st class tix during the holidays may cost as much as my damn ANTIBIOTICS. haha
I need to get some STEPS in. I had to walk around INSIDE my house for over a mile b/c it was lightning too hard when I'd planned on walking the neighborhood last night. Then to the bank.

Iโm having a hard time getting focused with tracking. I canโt decideโฆAtkins, FB, WW? But I need to make a decision and start somewhere.
What was the final decision? Who do I send my ten bucks to?
Excellent explanations CELESETE! Took me a long time to get Sachse downโฆmy brain just didnโt want to say SACK-see. Prices for coach right now arenโt all that great either. I have not bought a ticket to go northโฆI canโt afford to waste another ticket. I may be driving! I emailed my sibs today and asked where everyone was going to be so I can make plans. We got the norther and some rain, wind, oh and electricity flickered, but sounds like more severe weather over your way. Glad for cooler temps.
Waving to everyoneโฆIโll try to get back later. Itโs been a busy day and this is the first chance Iโve had to get here to say hello. I did get to the funeral home for visitation, and tomorrow I have a dermatologist appointment at 1 (no toe/wart work!) โฆbusy, short week.

West Virginia can't pronounce things either.
Hurricane - HURR ick un ( a town near here) Kanawha - can AWE uh (a river and my county)
No Velcro was the right call. 14 ladies showed up and I had 18 of the little animals. ๐
SUZE- You can't decide what plan to follow. And I can't stop eating incredibly high carb/high calorie meals. Tonight was Papa John's pizza with cinnamon pull aparts for dessert. AFTER spaghetti and meatballs with BREAD at lunch. Yikes!

LMAO SUZE.... that was SUPPOSED TO SAY: HOney CAN I LIKE YOUR FOOT?
I have to say, I'm starting to lose weight on this FODMAP aka CES diet (can't eat shit). I mean my choices seem so limited and I'm so afraid to eat "outside the box" that it's making the decision FOR me. But I will see if I can work this FODMAP w/in the context of WW w/o a bunch of modifications on the FODMAP OR WW. TOmorrow I go to WW.
How long is your drive to MI?? It has to be longer than to MO doesn't it? Do you take 2 days? Frisco to Webster Groves is 10 hours. That's just more than I want to drive by myself in Winter in case it snows. And my cars, though uber low mileage, are 13 (Tucson w/ 45K miles) and 15 years old (T-bird w/ 25K miles). Shows me that my project in 2018 is to sell these cars and get me a new one. If I could make up my mind what I wanted.
CONNIE I have the cure for your low carbs. Have your doctor tell you LOW FODMAP or else surgery. Scares ya straight (at least for a little while). I looked at your Pappa Johns and salivated. Then realized there wasn't ONE thing I can eat. NONE of the crust or spaghetti or bread. Not even the toppings off a pizza b/c no garlic or onion. Honestly and this may sound weird, but though I'm HUNGRY, this FODMAP takes all the FUN out of eating. I know food is supposed to be fuel. But my immature self wants it to be FUN TOO. No damn fun.
Still debating staying here w/ Bob or going to MO for my son, DDIL and DKS. Leaning toward Missouri but still not sure. I best make up my mind b/c there are very few 1st class seats left. That's a make it or break it.

Good luck Celeste if you decide to do WW freestyle.Someone on Connect posted she had 1 lb of chicken and 6 eggs.I think that falls under the word STUPID!!!!!!!! Next thing she will post is that she gained weight.I will still do WW but it may be the Becky plan.I didn't go to the meeting tonight but my tracker will change over tomorrow. You may get 29 points.I read where one man is getting 32 b/c he changed his settings to maintaining. That's where I am right now.I have mine set for maintaining.I just am not eating all the points I get.
As long as we eat chicken, turkey, fish,ff plain Greek yogurt, all the veggies & fruit we can eat we should all have 23 points left for the day.
It's 53 here but is supposed to get down to 43.
