CONNIE i feel your pain..totally get where you are at.
SANDY you've gotten right back to it! LCHF?
I read a little on WW and it DID say something about the new zero foods....I'll find it again but they said pretty much no worries about portion/counting for those foods. Misleading imo.
CELESTE yes, 2 days, 1,100 miles. Been what...? 15 years since I've driven it? Lawdy time flies. I'd look at a rental or driving my own car, and its got 75K miles.
Hope you all had a gpod day! Night

Steph....hope those meds kick in for you. No fun being under the weather when traveling. Is this for school or fun....with or without students? Definitely more fun without them ๐
Suze....that would be a looooong drive by yourself....iโm good for about 4 hrs at a crack these days....it would be NYE before I made it from your place to MI at that rate ...lol. And I donโt know what plan to follow either....just trying to keep the grazing down& lean toward protein & veggies as much as possible. Donโt feel like paying ww right now when I know I wouldnโt follow that until after the holidays.
Celeste....my vote is to go see the family....or at least set a date for the near future if not over the holidays. You want Rollie to know his LOLA!!!
Becky ... a lb of chicken...gag!!! And I like chicken. But that much at one sitting would have me sprouting feathers!
Connie...glad your pinwheel creations worked out ok!
Sandy...that is so nice for Mark! Congratulations to all! And yes, your mom would be so proud of him!
I got about quite a bit of my decorating done today....still have to do the tree. I do enjoy having the place decked out.
Did a little happy dance earlier....found out I am off the hook for going out of town with Rick this weekend. This is his annual pheasant hunt with fraternity brothers....and several yes ago they decided the wives should join the fun....not hunting but just to socialize. I went a few yes ago, & there was only 1 other gal there .....long weekend to made idle chitchat when there are a zillion other things to do this time of year. I told Rick the only way I would go this year was if he found out in advance that other women were coming. He did some checking, & lo & behold the answer was a resounding NO! Hallelujah! After being gone the last 3 weekends, this is just what I needed! Hurray!

Suze WW meant you don't have to track 0 point food but they say to eat to satisfaction so there is a portion size.I won't be having any rollover points.I plan to eat every point I get.

ANGIE yes it would be. Iโve done 10 hrs in a day to TN, but 8 is really the max for me. Thatโs sort of my thought on paying WW right now as well. My brain is not into learning a new program, etc. at the momentโฆ maybe I just need to think about it a little more and warm up to the challenge. And Iโm with you! YAY for the weekendโฆa break right now to get things done is perfect timing.
BECKY I think the program will be good โ this is the statement I was talking about โNew to the program are 200+ zero Pointsยฎ foods, that you don't ever have to portion or track. โ Never have to portion? If thatโs the case the name should be โFree-for-Allโ and sign me up, LOL. I know what they MEAN, but itโs sort of a loosey-goosey statement, imo.
SANDY congratulations to Mark! Iโm know you are all proud for him.
One of those days that I really donโt want to be here, but I donโt need to be home sitting around either. Maybe Iโll roll on over to the student health center and get a flu shot.
Enjoy the dayโฆbbl.

Good morning.
I have to say, when I was doing Core, I did not portion or track. I ate however much I wanted of the foods on the Core list and I lost weight. I did NOT eat till I wanted to hurl. But I also ate past "satisfaction " a lot because I never really learned how to slow down enough when I eat to tell where "satisfaction " is until it's too late. I assumed then (as now) that I didn't get fat eating chicken or eggs. I realize that with ALL programs, as you get closer to your target weight, you have to be stricter with the rules of the plan. Satisfaction level will be imperative then, but where I am now, I'm sure it will be ok. I'm actually very excited to have the program move away from weighing and measuring and tracking and towards more intuitive eating. They are teaching us how to eat on the fly...which is how we spend much of our lives.
Just my 2 cents.

When they said to satisfaction they also added don't feel like you have had a Thanksgiving meal.
Angie I really hope that lb of chicken was over the course of the day.
I'm not going on it right away.I will change one thing at a time.I have stuck to 30 SP 2 days in a row on the regular SP program and have lost 2 lbs so I may stick with that until I get to my desired weight and then try out the new program.Adding the rollovers to my weeklies do me no good since I have my fit points come out first.
I like eggs but not every morning for breakfast.I also like chicken as long as it's in a salad.I will like the beans and corn as 0 points. For some reason they gave me 37 weeklies this morning.I have them set at 21 and even with the rollovers it should only be 25 weeklies.I have my tracker set to maintenance so I can set my dailies as I want but will slowly ease into the new program.

So what all did your dd have to do to win, Louise?
My doctor's appointment went better than I expected today. I was upset that they charged me for missing an appointment I never made. I was able to confirm that they removed the charges. Plus, I had a credit showing at their office so didn't have to pay today. My doctor agreed that she only needs to see me once a year....NOT the every 3-6 mos the office gal said. Although my cholesterol was high, she doesn't want to put me on meds because my good cholesterol is very high and my triglycerides are only 50. I showed her that my average steps for the year are over 9200 per day and she was quite thrilled. ๐ BP was 120/80 even having eaten that VERY SALTY papa John's pizza last night. As to the allergies, she gave me an rx for the Allegra D and said to try taking probiotics to prevent it turning into bronchitis or something worse. If I ask her to, she will refer me to an allergist, but I didn't request that yet.
I came home and got sucked into watching Brideshead Revisited on tv. Have meant to see that movie forever. Am glad I finally caught it.
Then I got busy and swept/mopped the floors downstairs and did some dusting. Then I went to the store. Also lucked into an appointment to get my hair trimmed tomorrow morning. She had a cancellation. I haven't had a trim in about 6 or 8 months. I can never remember to call her....and then it's several weeks before she has an opening.
May start decorating the house for Christmas. Would like to setup my Christmas village in the dining room and alpine trees in the foyer. Will see if DH is going to require me to cook dinner or eat his leftover pizza.

Iโm not exactly sure what the requirements were. One man won for having quit smoking another gal won for even though she blew her Achillesโ tendon. My dd won for the long ft changes she mad and how she was a positive influence. They also announced she had gotten a lot of nominations. As of today, she has lost 112 pounds. She has several health issues that affected her problems with weight loss. One of her coworkers that had nominated her hijacked pix fro Facebook to have for them to show.
