We stack things as well. Plus, I think we could be the Amazon warehouse with all the boxes that come to us. I just had a meeting with a new cleaning service. I've been wanting to get rid of the other place for years now and just need to do it. Anyway, I stopped apologizing years ago. We LIVE in our house. I have TWO very active teens who are athletes. But, our goal is to take a couple of sections this break and tried to get it cleaned out. I need to get rid of teacher things I still have from when I started 11 yrs ago. Most of my stuff is online now and I'm heading more in that direction. It's just hard. We're not hoarders, but you wouldn't know that by looking at things.

STEPH glad you and Z got things aired out. We all stress out so much more during the holidays, that we're on our own last nerves. And boy having a driver in the house besides YOU!! It will make your life so much easier. Yeah it presents its own issues but on balance it's a GOOD GOOD thing. And OH YEAH I forgot. A box comes, I open it, and it sits on a bar stool. You never know when I'll have an emergency need for a box!! My house is small enough that to take the box to the recycle bin would take about 15 seconds each way. As for having a small or large house? I tend to fill the space. No matter big or small. I'll tell you how to get rid of 11 year old teachers stuff. MOVE. When you think you'll have to box that up and move it and store it again... gets a lot easier to rid yourself of that. HOWEVER moving may be a bit drastic. So I got rid of a stack but started 2 more. Not really. Ok maybe. Anyway I have my roll aboard in and it's mostly packed. No clothes, but CPAP, meds, make-up.... the necessities.(best at least add some underoos!)

CELESTE stop looking at bitcoin. Stop! And glad you had some decent sleep. I slept like a log on Tuesday night, last night β not so much.
SANDY glad your knee is better today β and take that paperwork a little at a time. Katy is going to love her doll closet. I learned to sew very young and was a doll clothes making machine I tell ya.
CONNIE OMG I donβt know how you can even be upright on that little sleep. Maybe back in the day for me.. but certainly not now! I definitely need to pace myself and put things away in the next couple daysβ¦ to much βstuffβ lying around. Grrr on your boss! I donβt like that way around getting information β so not cool.
HI STEPH, ANGIE, BECKYβ¦
This boot is sending weird pains today, so I have not been up and about much. At least the pain isnβt from the incision or graft site, or where the main work was done. Sheesh. I hate this boot. But it is allowing me to at least stand at a counter, or get down the stairs, etc. I need some Ibuprofen. BBL

I'm back from lunch with Marcie. We had a good time. She toured my big old house and looked at all of my quilts and my quilting room. I asked her if she would be interested in going to The Houston Quilt Festival with me next November and she said she would like to go. I wanted to give her time to save up some money. The room is the most expensive part of the trip, but there's also flight, food, airport transfer and most importantly, shopping and classes to pay for. We ate at Pies and pints. Shared a Greek salad and a small pizza. Both were large enough that we couldn't eat all of either. It was such a nice afternoon.
Now I need a serious nap. Otherwise I will fall asleep during Star Wars.

Taking a break from THINKING about packing π΅ Oh gosh I crack me up some times. Pretty sure I'm going to be Ok w/o checking luggage. At least on paper!
SUZE yes you are RIGHT on not checking on Bitcoin any more (though it is down $1,000 today... I wonder if my son unloaded more). But sometimes the devil makes me check.π And I do remember toward the end of my boot stint, it WAS hurting. Pressing on places I didn't remember it pressing, keeping the angle weird. Too tight. Too lose. Yeah you're so ready to be DONE with this.
CONNIE I was thinking about what your boss was doing w/ that obtuse, obscure and suspicious text. Maybe he has someone lined up to take evenings and figured nights are harder to cover so really doesn't want you to move. But this way if he hired someone else w/o saying anything, and you went to him and asked "Why didn't you ask me if I wanted to take evenings" he could say "well I did. Don't you remember that text?" A lousy attempt to CYA maybe? I wonder if you would have said "Oh I'm so sick of nights" what would have happened. Kind of bush if you ask me. Or what is that "in word" right now? BOUGIE? Which doesn't exactly fit and is an annoying non-word anyway.
EGADS I am so stressing about the travel tomorrow, TSA lines, the WEATHER (fog in the AM and rain all day ... how many delayed flights??) and sick kids on the other end, and my gut is bothering me, so who likes to fly on a messed up gut. And I think it's messed up B/C I'm stressing so I'm starting a vicious cycle here. I need a tranquilizer. Or a drink. Or maybe my BIG GIRL PANTIES and get my ass PACKED. or not.... nyuck nyuck nyuck.

Just heard a glib, glubing in my bathroom and I have blue water in my tub. This usually means I have some roots in my lines in the backyard.

Oh lordy LOUISE. Glib glub and blue water. That cannot be a good thing, and trying to get someone out at this time of the year. OY.
95% packed. I've put stuff in and taken stuff out and taken stuff out and put stuff in. I hope I don't forget anything.
I have Connie's Dutch Meatloaf in the oven (hope she doesn't want it back). I'll throw in some zucchini spears the last 45 min and maybe do the accordion potatoes. So warm here and muggy. 77 degrees. But tomorrow looks grim w/ fog and rain. Fingers crossed.

LOUISE oh man what a bummer! I hope you can get that looked at right away.
BOUGIE?? What is that?
CELESTE try to stop stressing. Dinner sounds good! Since I'm wearing crutches, I'm back packing it. Sis has all my toiletries up there, and I'll do yoga pants and sweatshirts, lol. And wash/te-wear. I bought my ticket-leaving Wed. 5pm.

Bougie - Aspiring to be a higher class than one is. According to Z, my car is bougie per his friends. Well, I do drive a Lexus, but we work hard for the nice things we do have. It's been paid off and is in good condition. I'll pick it up in the morning from being serviced and will head north to get daddy. A will ride with me. The kids are looking forward to seeing their g'pa. It's been a long while.
I'm tuckered out. Since I have a long drive tomorrow, I'm going to turn in early. Y'all have a great night. Hope you all start to feel better soon. I still can't get rid of this cough.

STEPH- My friend Marcie has had bronchitis for 4 weeks. And she was coughing up a storm. I hesitate to say coughing up a lung cause she only has one! Hope you get better soon.
LOUISE- yikes on the roots in your water lines. NOT WHAT YOU NEED!
CELESTE- Safe travels.
We saw Star Wars and I really enjoyed it. Had to go as soon as DH got off work, so supper was movie popcorn and peanut m&ms. Oh, well. I got an hour long nap before the movie, which I desperately needed.
Tomorrow I need to get my dad's present. And I need to wrap mom's gift. Need to stop and get a couple of gift cards as well. And need to call the optical shop and tell them I want to switch out these frames. Then when DH gets off work we will head down to visit them. Busy, busy, busy.

haha STEPH if your Lexus were parked in front of your MOM's HOUSE b/c you were still living at home... then I think the Lexus would be Bougie.
SUZE it's from Bourgeoisie pronounced BOO-zhee. Like they're too busy to say the entire would (anything to save a syllable). I really don't like that word, NOR the word VACAY for vacation. Again are these people SO busy they can't use 3 syllable words?
haha BECKY had I known you were burning boxes I'd have sent our down there
CONNIE and STEPH I just talked to Ryan and he also is hacking away. He says Roland sounds worse and Ryan may take him to the doctor tomorrow afternoon since he gets off work early. And here I was worried about getting THEM SICK from me!
I believe I'm completely packed. As long as I have my phone βοΈ and charger βοΈ, and my ID βοΈ, and my meds βοΈ, and my wallet/cash/credit cards βοΈI can buy or borrow whatever I need when I get there. So I'm good. I'm sure I'll check in before Christmas but JUST IN CASE... Everyone have a blessed and merry Christmas ππ
π»π. Good night ladies!
