Steph I'm glad Z got his car.I don't blame you for wanting to get your dad instead of him driving especially on I 35.It's bad enough with 2 good eyes.I'm glad he won't be alone for Christmas and I'm sure he will be glad to spend some time with you and the family.
Haven't been home much today. We went to church, ate out afterwards, went back to church tonight for Christmas Cantata. The choir was wonderful.Finger foods afterwards.
Suze I hope you get to get out of the boot some.

SANDY I remember Ford Falcons. Mine was a little Buick Opel Kadette. A tin can on wheels. Stick shift.
BECKY I love a good church Christmas music program. So uplifting.
LOL LOUISE On them not taking all the dog fur. So do they take dust bunnies? I could donate some of those.
Terrible night w/ GERD. I was chugging cider vinegar and water like there was no tomorrow. it would work. For about 30 minutes. I have trouble sleeping in an upright position so I'm TIRED. DEFINITELY not b/c of my bedtime snack b/c I ate a 96% FF burger on gluten free bread w/ a bit of iceberg and a small tomato. That was about 6 and I didn't have anything else to eat and went to bed around midnite. In this case it was definitely b/c I was empty. I'm still a work in progress.

Celeste the music was so good.We joined the church at the morning service and went back for the Cantata.I'm sorry you had a bad night.Maybe if you have a light snack by 9:00 then you would have something in your tummy.I try to not eat anything after 8:30 but have enough in my tummy so I don't get hungry and don't feel bad either.
Sandy KM does look so grown up and pretty in that pic.

BECKY for the past couple of days I've been "off my feed" and haven't been hungry. And YUP that's the first time in my life I've EVER SAID THAT π€£ I mean today I've only had 2 pieces of lightly buttered gluten free toast. And water. 1 coffee which didn't sit well. I'll have a small baked potato and a bit of chicken breast before I go to bunco. But I will DEFINITELY have something before I go to bed tonight. Going from dinner at 6PM, then to bed after midnite, I start waking around 2 w/ reflux, which is what...8 hours after I've had dinner. I assume by 8 hours I'm pretty much empty. So I think around 10PM something like toast w/ peanut butter and a wee bit o'jelly.
This train derailment is so sad. People were all excited for the inaugural run. They're saying MAYBE there was something on the tracks! That's scary b/c then there will be copy cats and how does one cover every inch of tracks?
Then Atlanta airport lost power yesterday for 11 hours and IT'S STILL a hot mess. NOTE TO SELF: don't ever again schedule travel over Christmas. Trains, planes or automobiles.

Good morning.
I got off work at 7am and went straight to TJ Max. Got a purse and scarf for my college roommate for Christmas. Now I need to wrap it and get it in the mail. Then stopped by the optical dept and picked up my glasses. Not sure they are going to work out. These frames have those little nose pieces and I'm afraid they are going to eat my nose. May have to change frames if they don't feel more comfy in the next day or so.
I made a lunch date with a lady I met at the last quilt retreat I attended. She's going to come over and check out the quilting studio and then we are heading to Pies and Pints for pizza and/or salads. I chose Thursday as the day because my Life Insurance physical is that morning. I will be able to eat without worrying about the scale!
Friday we are going to my parent's house after Joe gets off work so we can exchange gifts and go out to dinner. Then Saturday morning we will drive to South Carolina to meet Jess and Jaetyn and give them their gifts. Then drive home the same day. I'm planning on stopping at Mary Jo's cloth shop in Gastonia, NC. That place is like Mecca for fabric lovers!
Sunday will be Christmas gift exchange with Joe's side of the family at our house. Will need to figure out food.
And GOOD HEAVENS, my house is a MESS! I need to do some serious picking up/cleaning before people come over. Yikes!

Tomorrow I am heading to the DMV in the morning, then I will pick up a friend and head to the Huntington mall. Need to stop at a couple of quilt shops for gift certificates for mom. Hope to get lots of steps in at the mall.
