A question on UFVD for people using it. When putting in activity, does it have to be a named activity with number of minutes? Or can it takes steps from a Fitbit tracker for activity points, like the new plan?

I am not sure, I don't own a fit bit so I have never tried. But I don't think it does.

I am paid on WW till February 24... Then I will be going to ufvd. I will surely get the premium version, but a whole year costs what WW costs me a month

amster What Rene said is true. I pay for premium and use it to sync with my Fitbit, even though I am on PP.

Fun note for PP fans, I double tracked this week. PP vs. Freestyle. The results are in!
PP: WP - Gone, AP - 22 left FS: WP - Gone, AP - Gone, in the red 35 points
Weight loss: Down 1.2 this week (down 2.6 last week on PP)
My never to be humble conclusion - if you're not going to eat the free food, don't do that program

What kinds of foods were you eating that made such the biggest differences? I have a feeling I'll be moving back to PP with the app after my membership is up. I lost weight fine on the PP when I did it. I want to do a few months on the FS program with meetings first because my sister is doing it, and I think it will be good for both of us to support each other.

I want to do a few months on the FS program with meetings first because my sister is doing it, and I think it will be good for both of us to support each other. It's the fast food/ fat and sugar penalties. I have always felt that doubling the points was excessive. One day in particular: I had two eggs and a banana smoothie for breakfast. Eggs were free but the flavor mix I use is 8 SP (4PP), making the breakfast effectively the same on both plans. Then I went to McDonald's for lunch. I ate smaller portions (regular cheeseburger, small fry, coke) and got out for 18 PP or 29 SP. That alone blows the day and, you can't recover. You're looking at going in the red 11 SP before you even get to dinner, and on PP I still had 10 PP! (Dinner was water, turkey, peas, and mashed potatoes (4SP), in case anyone was wondering) I'm not saying fast food and sugar is the way to go, but...it happens. So while I love the free list and use it as a guide in planning my day, I'm looking for 'lifestyle' not 'diet'. And don't even get me started on milk and cheese.

I also believe that if you are eating a lot of the free foods it's hard to do too..... Just because of the amount of food you end up eating to use some points. I have another 6 weeks of paid time.... If the program is working I would be willing to continue through goal/self inflicted maintenance period even though I am already lifetime. But seeing that anyway this goes, with freestyle or pp, or simply filling I will have to always pay because I am online and no meetings here, an alternative will eventually be needed. I hate the user facade on itrackbites, always like ultimate better

quick question. I'm trying to add my weekly weight into the app, and can't find where to do it. I'm sure it's there somewhere and I'm missing it. What menu is is under?

mattlaura , Yes I like it. I find comfort in tracking everything. I'm going to still work on acclimating to the new program but it is going to take awhile for me to trust it. I did fine with the switch over to free fruit but this addition of more zero-point foods bugs me. I keep buying these apps, LOL, and they sit there and languish because I am too lazy to *start over*....I'll be interested to follow your path here!

ksbruns, Still tracking on it and like it. Also still tracking on Freestyle. I eat a lot of the same things so once I got my basics I was set. When you add food there is a field for "portion" and "per" I haven't figured out how to use them and haven't messaged their support.

In that Ultimate Food Value Diary app, I did not see the GHG check boxes. Do you know if they're included in the app?
