cozyhomelife, there are a few other (not-WW) apps out there that do versions of WW, including prior programs. Ultimate Food Value Diary and iTrackBites are two of them I can think of off the top of my head.

I had the ap for plus points when it was new, but they killed it when they changed. I don't understand where you are finding it? There are apps out there that have the PP plan. Itrackbites is one of the apps. They can't call it points plus. I don't use it so I can't tell you the name they use but someone else can if you're interested.

Years ago there was a desktop version that allowed you to track points. (I think the original points programs.) I don't remember what it was called, and I vaguely remember them being hassled by WW.
I've not seen anything recently though.

DebDoesWW, yep. I saw two posts with that generic profile icon and thought they were the same poster. So the answer to whether the app can be used on a desktop computer is no. It is available for iPhone and Android only. I also note that the "Community" feature (message boards in the app) are now gone (according to their FAQs on the web site).

santex, I had thought for a long time about using itrackbites for points plus, but I never wanted to track on my phone. I did almost all of my tracking on the WW website or the My Fitness Pal website. I recently started using my phone for the itrackbites app and I'm finding that it's really pretty easy to do. I guess I'm becoming an app person. I do still prefer using my computer and websites for most things, and my phone is really small so it makes reading things on it more difficult, but when there is no website, I'm finding that apps are workable. Of course you have to have a smartphone to start.

susan092907, I had always used the WW website until I quit Freestyle, and then started tracking calories on the MFP website. I do have the itrackbites app on my phone, so I may give it a try because I really liked the points plus plan.
