Startin out with beautiful cookies makes me hungry. I have trouble making rolled cookies here in Florida, I think it's too humid cause I have made rolled cookies everywhere else I lived! linda72, I have a daughter named Katherine also! Santa gift exchange today. Got one of our fellows that I don't know very well, she's only been here 2 years. We fill "wish" and likes lists. Her lis said she likes to cook and is a vegan that eats chicken, oh boy! My friend owns a spice shop, so I got Balsamic vinegar, honey , chicken spices, veggie spices, fancy measuring spoons and wrote my recipe for Honey Basil Chicken. We'll see!

Good Morning Linda, those cookies are gorgeous. I need to post quickly as the rain has started and this is the best time for me to do my errands. Our Pineapple Express, heavy rain and warm weather, may flood the streets since the drains are cleaned so infrequently. Will check back later.

On the back end of my workday and getting bored with tasks at hand. Forgot to mention I dropped another 1.3 today for my WI.
Had the brilliant idea to walk back to work from lunch at home. The wind was painfully cold. Have to walk home too so I am hoping it is less windy.
Bonefish for dinner this evening. Tracked and ready for a great meal.
I was suppose to take a class Friday thru Sunday and plans changed. Spent the last 3 days getting ahead of things so joyfully have no big agenda. Hooray!

Linda72, those cookies look amazing! How great that your daughter can do that from her home! Here in Wisconsin, our state laws are very strict. My sister in law, who used to make wedding cakes, had the state come down on her, because she was baking in her own kitchen, with out being inspected by the state. So she could not sell anything she made. She makes cakes once and a great while, to give as a gift. I would have also loved to start an at home bakery at that same time, but what with all you would have to go thru to get a license, it is not worth it. (They require that basically the kitchen you would use to do all the baking is not used by family). I know it is for the safety of the people who are buying it, but come on!

WOW thyme2 you are the poster child for WW, every week!! WTG!!! Have fun tonight Brrrrrr....the wind didn't die down for the walk home and I was walking into the wind. It is biting!
Thanks Deb. I have not lost 4 or 5 weeks out of the past year. When I started WW online in 2007 I had reached a point where I said "Enough" and I committed to doing it right. Then after losing a large amount of weight I hit an awful place where stress and menopause aligned the hormones into causing me to gain! After remaining faithful for longer than I want to say I had to stop paying to gain or maintain. So when I finally could lose again in 2015 I said, "Nothing is going to stop me." I have held myself to that. I am grateful every day that my body is letting go of the weight.
It is fun to see that I can have a great dinner tonight and still stay on track. I really do love WW. It also helps to have all of you for support.

karen54171 The laws changed in Texas 4 years ago so that DD could start her at-home bakery legally. She had been waiting for the law to change here for that reason. Update from today's pop-up bakery: she sold out! Wow, it was amazing seeing the steady stream of customers coming in the door and buying up the cookies. Actually she sold scones, cupcakes, various cookies, brownies, pecan bars and over 400 decorated cookies. There were only a few cupcakes left when I came home and she and her DH were very pleased with the turn out today. She may do this again for Valentine's Day. She also took orders today for cookies in January. I'm really proud of her.

Beth, that's how it was for me, too, *enough*...I did great the first year, then just started wandering back to my old ways, and in year 3 when I had a 10 pound gain, got serious for good. It really does take commitment, but once I finally had it, it was easier.

Linda, that's exactly how I've gotten my baked goods for the holidays these past years (sadly, there's a lot of sampling that goes into finding the right person, LOL.) But, we just don't need to have the scads of baked goods that come from me baking, so getting *just* the right amount of items that are as good as I can make fills the bill. Fortunately, J doesn't care, he is NOT picky, and DS is only sentimental about a few items. We realized this is the first year in living memory I have not made my super-duper Chex Mix, so we decided I would make it January when they get back. Congrats to your DD!
