ksbruns I do love the chex mix but honestly, I was the main one to eat it so I stopped. I will make 2 traditional cookies next week for DH and family. That's a big change from 10 years ago when the flour cloud hung over our house for most of the month of December! I was really proud of myself at DD's bakery today because I didn't eat anything! Too hard to stop so I try not to start in the first place.

linda72,I want some cookies but I see she sold out.Good for her. They are beautiful. sullicat1,Remind me to never move to your state.SeriDously, try to stay warm. neen,I definitely don't want to live near you.LOL.Stay warm if you can. ksbruns,Yeah for your last early train ride. You are moving before Christmas? diva49,Were you trying to convince yourself the cookies are too pretty to eat.I don't think there is a homemade cookie too pretty to eat.I can leave the store iced ones anytime but the homemade ones call my name. DebDoesWW,Do I have to stay within my points even on an unspecial day?Is that even a word?Whine!!!BTW I really like this color scheme. We went to town this morning but I'm not feeling well so I will get the remaining of my steps inside today also.Just wait until Sunday and we will really be complaining. lmenglish,I hoped your gift was a big hit.It sounds good to me. jamescat1,Audrey,drive safely out there. thyme2,Beth congrats and WTG on your loss.I'm not walking today even though it's warmer than where you live.Enjoy Bonefish tonight. Getting serious, staying within my SP and exercise has been the only way I could get this far with WW.I agree I love WW even with all their technical glitches.I am in for the day now and drinking hot tea for all you chilled people up north.Saving some for our cold blast on Sunday. Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!

I have *sortof* lost my taste for Chex Mix, and Dana thinks it is gross, LOL (you can tell she didn't grow up in the South, also hates Brady's dad's Sausage Balls), but those two things are still Brady's favorite. I learned how to half the recipe a few years ago, so will make a reasonable amount and send them home with it.

But fortunately, a lot of them don't cut it with me anymore; however, when I do find some I love, I can still get into trouble. Everyone knows I prefer living in the NE, but Southerns know how to cook; I haven't had amazing baked goods since I left Texas. Yes, the goal was to be in the new place before Christmas weekend; Jeremy will have so many services to play that I think he would have had to sleep in a sleeping bag in his office. Supposedly, the movers come next Thursday.

Brrrrrr....the wind didn't die down for the walk home and I was walking into the wind. It is biting!
Thanks Deb. I have not lost 4 or 5 weeks out of the past year. When I started WW online in 2007 I had reached a point where I said "Enough" and I committed to doing it right. Then after losing a large amount of weight I hit an awful place where stress and menopause aligned the hormones into causing me to gain! After remaining faithful for longer than I want to say I had to stop paying to gain or maintain. So when I finally could lose again in 2015 I said, "Nothing is going to stop me."  I have held myself to that.  I am grateful every day that my body is letting go of the weight.
It is fun to see that I can have a great dinner tonight and still stay on track. I really do love WW. It also helps to have all of you for support.Â
Beth, that's how it was for me, too, *enough*...I did great the first year, then just started wandering back to my old ways, and in year 3 when I had a 10 pound gain, got serious for good. It really does take commitment, but once I finally had it, it was easier. Kathy it is definitely something that clicks differently for each person. We all have so much in common but have to find our own stepping stones.

Just a hello... staying away from this thread if there are cookies involved! I actually have no desire for sweets or food today (not necessarily a bad thing!) My colonoscopy went well...no new polyps...good to go for another 5 years! In fact, Dr told me I have a "beautiful" colon! (would rather a beautiful face, or hands, but be that as it may!)
Head is so-so...seems to be less computer glare today...love the color, blue-green whatever!!
Going to crash early, yesterday's prep was brutal. I do NOT recommend "Suprep" !

diva49 ,Were you trying to convince yourself the cookies are too pretty to eat.I don't think there is a homemade cookie too pretty to eat.I can leave the store iced ones anytime but the homemade ones call my name. I'm right there with you on the HOMEMADE cookies, Becky. It's the ones sitting in the grocery against which I must stand firm (no matter how good the store advertises them to be).
I can lust after Karen's daughter's cookies and know that it will remain unrequited... and I will enjoy anything that my DDILs and the DGKids bake for KressMess Eve.
I just don't need to get something "just because it's CHRISTMAS" and it says "Christmas cookies" on the package.

*** SOOOOO glad to read your med update, PBnJ!

Congrats to your daughter Linda. Looking at those cookies, I would have been first in line.

cherryt38 I forgot to ask yesterday, where are you at that is was 7 BELOW? I can't even imagine!! Good job on getting the exercise in! I have been doing house walking just to get my steps in daily. And you make soap? Oh man that is such an indulgence I always wanted to try my hand at, some of the homemade ones smell so good I don't want to use them, just love smelling them I live in northwestern North Dakota. Last week we had two nights of 20 below. Most of the last week and a half the highs have been below zero or just barely above. It doesn't usually run that cold, most of the winter the highs are in the 20's for the average. Homemade soap is the best. It's very gentle and doesn't dry your skin, it lathers well because of the coconut oil in it, the bars last a long time, and it can be made very pretty and with lovely scents. Handmade soap is too nice to just let it sit around to smell.

pamthomas46 Give us a movie review tomorrow. My DGS(7) is anxious to see it! While the cookies were fantastic, I steeled myself to not eat any and I'm proud to say I was able to sell them and not taste them. Whew!
