Does that mean I can eat a whole bag of Reese's PB cups? After all peanuts are a legume and chocolate is a vegetable.

I'm probably one of the few people who does not like peanut butter! The smell of it is so gross!

It depends greatly on the product and taste. Natural peanut butters hold no appeal to me—I guess they are too healthy, especially when they have no sweetness (sugar) and are swimming in oil that I have to stir back into them.
Now Skippy Reduced Fat is another story—it’s reduced fat but, of course, includes a good slug of sugar. THAT I can eat straight out of the jar.
I was reviewing recipes in Marlene Kock’s first Eat What You Love cookbook Sunday and spotted a peanut butter cookie that looked interesting; it contains no flour, so is reasonable in the carb department. I might have to pick up some peanut butter today and bake up a batch in honor of the day.

I love PNB. I had 1 T. of Jif Whips on 1/2 english muffin for my breakfast. I have been using Jif Whips which is the same PNB but whipped. It has 1 less SP than regular PNB. I made DebDoesWW recent recipe with PNB and cool whip, topped with a little chocolate syrup. It was great! I also like PNB with bananas or apples. It's also good on Dave's Killer Bread. Happy Peanut Butter Day! @beckyw2016 And, I also love love love Reese's PNB cups!!

Reese's PBCups are one of the most perfect comfort foods. Chocolate AND PB *sigh* and *drool* they have been forever banned here.
Thanks for posting this Becky!

I have eaten (I think Peter Pan's) low sugar PB and liked it a lot. It is sort of whipped too. Somehow in the past I've been able to limit myself to just 2 tsps full. Really that's all I ever needed on a light English muffin (1 tsp each half).

Mike, I'm with you on the healthy stuff. I love Peter Pan whipped, less fat. Linda, love Dave's Killer bread!

I eat peanut butter pretty rarely, but I love the stuff.
A couple of days ago I was at a gathering and the hostess had some pretzels filled with peanut butter. Oh my gosh, those things were like crack! So addicting.

This is the one food item that can't be kept in the house. Spoon + jar = binge
