This is not a new food find, but a new tea find. Stash Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut tea. It is yummy and helps with the chocolate cravings.

All you have to do is click on the new button near the thread & you'll be taken to the posts you haven't read. I had no idea, either. That's the problem with web page design these days. That does NOT look like a button, it looks like a badge. So I just assumed that it indicted new postings in a thread and that I had to go into one of the thread pages and scroll top to bottom to find the new stuff. Live and learn. Thanks for the tip.

zazzles , I didn't know about that either. Thanks lavonm for the great tip! limefan , That tea sounds yummy. I'm going to look for it. finreporter , I have never heard of broccoleaf. We grow broccoli in our garden and have never tried the leaves. Although, my husband has gotten me to eat nasturtiums. Ugh, no more of that. I can imagine that broccoleaf is one of those superfoods like kale. We'll have to try it next broccoli season. My food find this Friday is a cookie! I got these at Costco. Meyer Lemon Moravian Cookie Thins by Salem Baking Co. They are thin like all the ginger thin cookies on the market and about the same size, but they have the refreshing light taste of lemon. AND they are half the points of the ginger thins. You can have 4 cookies for 2 FSP (freestyle smart points). Do people want all the details? There is no way that these are good for you, but they are a nice little treat with a big glass of iced tea in the hot weather we are having. It's going to be around 105 all week. Serving Size = 9 cookies (1 oz/28g) Calories 130 Sat Fat 2g Sodium 130 mg Total Carb 21g Sugars 10g Protein 1g

So, it's Friday again. Time for another food find. This week I found something I want to warn you off of. Beanitos Black Bean Skinny Dippers. I found these at my local Sprouts. Don't know if Sprouts is a national chain or just down here in AZ. These are a black bean chip. I like black beans. I like corn chips. What's not to like? Well, apparently these chips are not to like. They appear to be a thin corn chip, but they have no corn. Black Beans and rice flour. They are thin and while they crunch, they also sort of stick in your teeth.
I thought they could be a good salsa delivery system, but honestly, I'd rather just put a couple of extra thin Mission corn tortillas in the oven and crisp them up.
My opinion: Beanitos Black Bean Skinny Dippers - skip them. Don't waste your money.
On the plus side, I did find out that most prepared and jarred queso is only 2 SP for 2 TBL. That makes me really happy!! The brand I am currently enjoying is On the Border Salsa Con Queso. It's delicious. On the Border is a chain restaurant here. Are they national?
Did you all know that Velveeta original singles are only 1 SP per slice?? Great on an egg sandwich in the morning or anytime for that matter. Do you see a theme here? I'm all about the cheese. I guess I miss my dairy since I don't get to drink enough milk.
That's all I've got. Hope you all found something wonderful and "new to you" to eat this week.

Did you all know that Velveeta original singles are only 1 SP per slice?? Yes, I loved them and then became lactose intolerant Now I've switched to lactose free or vegan cheese slices and they're not as good and they're 2 or 3 points a slice. The only new thing I've tried are these: www.heb.com/product-detail/whole-fruit-organic-juice-tubes/1884971 I didn't check the points until I got home because they're only 60 calories. But 4 frigging points! They are good on a hot day though.

Oh NO!! I'd be devastated if I couldn't have my dairy. I already miss not having enough points for milk. If I couldn't have cheese, I'd be totally miserable.
Fruit juices are an interesting thing. I remember when my children were babies, the pediatrician said skip the juice and give them fruit. That's pretty much what I did. Both of my kids were always great water drinkers and still to this day they are.

hallian, I believe Sprouts originated in AZ and is headquartered there. But they have begun expansion beyond the AZ border and have several stores in California, particularly in the Bay Area, and I believe they are in a few other states, too.

I see no badge, maybe it does not show up on a kindle... That's possible, Linda, because the Kindle browser is very primitive and limited in functionality.

hallian , I believe Sprouts originated in AZ and is headquartered there. But they have begun expansion beyond the AZ border and have several stores in California, particularly in the Bay Area, and I believe they are in a few other states, too. I like some of the stuff Sprouts has, but much of the stuff they carry can be found elsewhere. I'm sure those Beanitos chips are in some grocery stores or Walmart. I like Sprouts for their bulk stuff, fruit, and they have a great deli. Although I actually haven't gotten a sandwich from the deli in awhile. You know, weight loss plan and all.
Trader Joes has more "different" stuff. Is TJs other places?

There's no reason to slog through a thread. All you have to do is click on the new button near the thread & you'll be taken to the posts you haven't read. It's very convenient. The button with the word New in a folder ? That doesn't seem to do anything when I click on it. Maybe I have to wait until there is a new post in this thread to see if that works for me. The other threads I haven't read but when I click the New button nothing happens. Currently, if I already read a thread and it has multiple pages I just go to the last page. A way to see just new post would be nice.

alias123 that is exactly what clicking the word “new” is supposed to do, take you directly to the new posts in the thread. file folder should be first, then the word “new” right before the thread title.

The small jars of baby fruits are the perfect size to flavor yogurt Also, not that I've ever eating 1/2 the box or anything but the Gerber Lil' Biscuits, Vanilla Wheat are 1 point per cookie. They're small but the flavor is really good and 2 of them with a glass of almond milk and a small banana are a nice snack or late breakfast
