zazzles, I didn't know all that. Thanks. My kids love Alton Brown. They now know more about salt than any human being needs to know. LOL They are both great cooks. Never cooked a lick while they lived at home, but I love being invited to their houses for dinner.
At any rate, anything that looks like pasta and you can put tomato sauce on it sounds good to me. I'm due for a trip to TJs. I'll be looking for the gnocchi.

DotRen, what a disappointment. Did you email them with your complaints? They might be receptive if enough people complain.

That's a shame. I have it on order with the library. I want to see if I like it well enough to buy.

linda72, I did actually lol. I emailed the site, rather than through amazon. Hopefully they can remedy the issue. I can't be the only one who felt that way!

Not a problem. Any Kindle book you buy comes with a money-back guarantee for a period of (if I remember correctly) 7 days. Just go to the Amazon web site, go to your account menu, select Your Content and Devices, find the title, click the Actions icon, then find and click the Return option. Select a reason that suggests the book is defective (which I consider bad formatting to be). It is an automated process and you'll get a refund email in short order. The book will disappear or become unreadable on your devices the next time you sync. Also be sure to leave a review of the book afterwards to alert people to bad formatting. Those types of comments are the only way publishers get a clue that they need to step up to the plate and plan publications that are usable on devices instead of doing simple conversions as an afterthought.

Ritz Crisp & Thins - It comes in lots of flavors. I tried the Smoked Chipotle flavor. 21 chips for 4 FSP. These are not like a Ritz cracker. They are more like a puffed potato chip. Not filling at all and a potential problem food for me, but they sure are tasty. Stats 21 chips (30g) = 130 calories Total Fat 4.5g Sat Fat 0g Trans Fat 0g Cholesterol 0mg Sodium 230mg Total Carb 21g Dietary Fiber 2g Total Sugars 2g Protein 2g I found them at Safeway in AZ. They were reg 3.99 for a 7.1 oz bag, but on sale for 3.29.
I really shouldn't go to the grocery store when I'm hungry.

I've tried several of those types of products. The problem is, like so many things, for me a serving is the entire bag...and at 7 servings per bag at 130 calories that is yet another product it would not do to have in the house!

zazzles , LOL I introduced my husband to them the minute he got home. He liked them, so I hope he eats most of them. I told him I probably wouldn't be buying them again. But it was a nice treat for a little minute. The key is to eat your 20 chips, then leave the house immediately.

DotRen ,I find most ckbks on kindle challenging. There never seems to be a table of contents. One WW kindle book had a pot of lasagna but I didn't have time to go through multiple recipes Hereās an important hint for those who donāt know: because you canāt go to a bookstore and look at a Kindle book to decide if you like it, you always have the option to do an electronic return within (as I recall) 7 days. I prefer to buy cookbooks in electronic form nowadays. But if I find there is no TOC that is hyperlinked to recipes, or no comprehensive index that is also hyperlinked, I generally return them for a refund and give the product a negative review for a lack of good production values.
