I will bring Bearly's crate because he is too protective of me and might bite someone who gets too close to me.

Wow - page 3! I'll bring my breakfast casserole for the brunch. Waylon will bring some of his own treats (food allergies) and the ferrets will bring their soup made from kibble and water. They sit on my lap to eat it, but will share it with anyone. QOTD Yes, I have been on many hayrides, but not usually with a date.

This crowd is the best! Dogs, cats, ferrets!
I got my 1836 steps, but I was winded and stopped!
I just heard Ed Sheehan for the first time. He is wonderful. Sweet voice!
Had an omelet with raisins in it. No, not so great.

Peggysue,
The dogs seem to be very happy here. They have a good size yard to run around in and enjoy their time outside.
Hunter, our one year old, has been getting into trouble but that isn't anything new. He got into the fresh peaches we had on a tray to ripen and ate a few. They caused a tummy upset and he threw up on Hannah's bed which she didn't appreciate. I guess he is still a puppy and gets into mischief.

Just checking on the party progress. 101 feels like temp here and I think I need to take Bearly out in a shade cause he is bored.

It is hot, Cat. We went out and walked in the shade until he finally found 'the spot' to do his business then I said, 'Let's get back inside'. He did not argue.
Did some of my exercises in front of the window unit. Will do more later.

QOTD: No, never been on a hayride since I was raised in NYC.....I don't think you'll count driving a tractor with hay on the back and feeding horses....LOL.
Jim lost a big filling in his tooth tonight so we're trying to reach the dentist. Thank God, it was a tooth that had a root canal done on it so no pain other than feeling like he has a huge hole in it.
We're at the beach house now until Monday and I leave for me trip on Tuesday before sun up.....
Oh, I will make the tea for Doris and family and ME!!!
Tucking you all in now and wishing you all sweet dreams....in PEACH BLANKET WITH A MUSICAL NOTE ON IT.
Oh, What a Beautiful Morning Kathie

I guess this is my last day as "You Are My Sunshine." My DMIL sang it as a lullaby to each of her five grandchildren. At 102 (in August), she is fairly perky. She is having trouble with her legs swelling though. DSisIL is afraid it might be organ failure. She seemed to be okay this afternoon when we visited, but her legs were wrapped due to the swelling. We took DD and the girls with us to visit her. She seemed to enjoy that.
After the visit, DH took the girls to choose some fireworks.
We had lunch at Bob Evans' and did a little shopping at Walmart.
Maybe this will get us to page 4, but at any rate it's goodnight for me. See you in July!

On my way to bed maybe.. watching a fire just 8 miles from us now.. it's a big one. Started this afternoon and has grown to over 8,000 acres by 9 p.m. It's hilly terrain so not easy to fight.. dry grass, hot weather and wind are all making it harder to fight. This is right across the street from one of the largest Casinos in the U.S. Employees are on evacuation alert.. hopefully they can keep the fire away from it.. So many people there.. they have a huge hotel and are expanding on that. Big entertainment on the weekends there.. People in my little town are on pins and needles even though we don't seem to be in any danger at the present time..
So very hot here today.. we were 107 this afternoon.. tomorrow should be some less..
Thanks Cat for a fun month
Jenny
