Cat, thanks for the month of June. I have enjoyed the QOTD.Yes, I have been on many hayrides. Being a country girl I went on my first as a 13 yr old with a teen group that met once a month at the little country school. My last was several years ago when I happened to be at Son's house when they were doing one for the youth of their church. He was youth minister back then.

Good Morning Cat and June Tunes,
This morning we had a low of 70º and going up to 94º and partly cloudy with winds light and variable. A stray thunderstorm is possible.
Thank you again all for your kind thoughts and prayers on our behalf.
Wow, what a delicious brunch we will have today. Thank you all so much for the beautiful brunch spread I see. I’ve missed getting on here and being able to talk with you all. It looks like we will have plenty of food today.
We still have some changes of address to do and we need to set up a bank account here, so we aren’t doing everything long distance. I had to charge a lot of things to my account when we were in the process of moving and found out King had not paid more than the basic amount for utilities or anything else, and we had to have electric, etc., so the bills piled up. I was pleased to see the amount on my credit account was increased without me asking. Of course, that puts me further in debt but there was no choice.
This evening Ken and Joyce want to go out for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I don’t know where they want to go but it should be fun to get together with them.
When we were in Nebraska Hannah did a report for her religion class on Mormons. She had three young ladies who came to our house to talk with her and anyone in the family who wanted to listen about their faith. When they heard we were moving, they gave Hannah some names of Mormons in Nebraska if she wanted to meet with them. One of the young men contacted her and came to visit with another young man. They invited the family to come for a fun afternoon and evening, and MJ and the three girls went to play games with them and others and had fun.
When they were finished they came home for me and we went to Local Culture for frozen yogurt and it tasted good. I got dark chocolate and just put some slivered almonds on mine. The girls really decorated theirs with all kinds of toppings and enjoyed eating the yummy frozen yogurt.

Hi!
Yes! I've been on a hayride when I was a kid, but it wasn't the smartest thing I ever did.....'nuff said.
I'll bring sausage/cheese rolls. I make mine with biscuit dough and mix in cooked and drained sausage and shredded cheese. I shape them about t he size of golf balls and bake them. Yummm! Welcome home, Doris!
It is 82º this morning, and to go up to 95º later today with a heat advisory. We try not to go out in the heat, since we both have meds that say to stay in out of it. We went out to breakfast this morning, but won't go out again. Well, DH will go pick up DGD3 (8) in a few minutes, and we will have her til the middle of the afternoon. DSIL will pick her up to go to karate with DGS2, and then bring her back.
DD brought DGS2 over for a while yesterday afternoon, and she had a good visit with us while he played on the computer. We hadn't seen her to talk with for several weeks, since she was very busy closing her library and then working her summer job.
Have a happy day!
Diane
