Just checking in, another month almost gone. While I am skimming the "news" I am not really getting into the detail; so much of it is lies and slanted anyway.
I needed a break from the constant hysterics, while much of it is funny; still kind of like a small child. They can be funny, but also exhausting.

Still hanging in here. I have received all my medical cards I have enrolled in so I guess I am set except I don't yet have a dental plan or a vision plan. Not sure I need the vision plan since I only check in with the doctor once per year and I think some of that may be covered and I saw there is a discount on eyewear in one of my plans. However, I should look into the dental since I have had a few fillings in the last couple years. Otherwise I am doing well going to the wellness center. I noticed I am able to climb the stairs a little easier so I must be doing something right.
And the political garbage goes on and will get worse the closer we get to the midterms, and then it will ramp up again for the 2020 election. Good thing I never gave my cell phone number to the politicians, just my home phone which I don't answer unless I know who's calling. Facebook is bad enough. I have some family members who are die-hard liberals, but we have an unwritten agreement not to discuss politics.

Glad you are getting settled. Except for a very short while, we haven't carried dental or vision. The premiums were too prohibitive. Both of us have fairly good teeth, so hopefully it all works out. We have saved thousands on what we would have spent on those types of insurance.
When we were carrying it, or about a year, the premiums ended up being about the same as we would have paid without insurance.
The husband and I go to our senior wellness center and walk every day. I add in some weight training three times a week. It has really helped us both to feel better and get around better.
During the last election cycle I hid most of the political sites, so if friends share anything from any of those sites I don't see the posts anyway. Every once in a while a new source will pop up, so I hide it.

I joined AARP just for the dental plan, there is one that is like an HMO and no limit on amount paid out a year by the insurer. It's $33 a month. Make sure you have contracted dentist near by before you enroll.
I just laugh at the libs, what a gaggle of geese, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats who cannot give up that Hillary lost. They harp on what Trump said off camera about women, but not as bad as using cigars in the Oval office. But Bill is their god and Hillary the goddess. The letch and the leech.
