Hi!
Today we'll have our cleaning lady here, and DH will have his PT. Nothing else is on the agenda, though who knows. Tomorrow is dominoes day, so it will be good to have a quiet day today. We'll pick up pizza for lunch for everyone. Our hostess is going to have a hip replacement operation next Wednesday (18th) and asked for this. She is a very lively 94 year old, and is looking forward to it.
Have a happy day! Diane

Sweetpeas for all.
My container garden doesn’t look very great. It does get shade. My neighbor’s garden at other end of box is lovely. She did use plants. I will do that next year.
Have a great day!

Good Morning Connie and Ice Creams,
This morning it was 73Âş and going up to 90Âş and partly cloudy in the morning followed by scattered afternoon thunderstorms and winds will be light and variable.
We plan to go to the bank this morning to set up our account here. We still have everything where we moved from and need to make that change.
We’ll stop at the doctor’s office to check with him about a prescription I need to get filled for long term (3 months at a time) and since he just checked my thyroid level I should be able to have him give me a new prescription for it or just send it in for me.
MAXINE CALENDAR: Tues 7/10: Apparently this year’s summer fashion theme is “parade of poor tattoo choices.”
PEANUTS CALENDAR: THE DAILY EXTRA Tues 7/10: Anagram: Rearrange the letters in the phrase to discover the related U.S. monument. built to stay free
How many common words of four letters or more can you make from the letters in the following word? (You may use each letter only once.) SWIMMING (some answers to Monday’s puzzle are: miming, minims, wising, swim, minim, wings, swing, wing, swig, wigs, iwis, minis, wins, migs, mini, nims, sign, sing, gins, nisi)

Jenny, about insurance companies. They are in charge, not your doctor. TRS changed who we have from Aetna to Humana and Humana does not want to approve of my blood thinner. Aetna approve it for 3 years.
I am trying to get set up for wifi calling when that service is better than tower signal. I am too far away from the nearest tower and so it comes and goes.

Ice Cream Ladies, I do apologize for the delay this morning, I tried several time and I would get the post ready and then the internet would go out and it got annoying. The message on their customer service number just kept saying problems in the area. Where not sure, as I didn't see a truck in any of my neighborhoods that I travel to get to the library. but it seems okay now and need to call my neighbor to see if the repair service made it to his house. Their TV goes all day long and he hasn't had it for a week. Not sure what is going on there. Same company but they just have cable with them. I have all 3 and sometimes they are all out.!!
For my ice cream flavor for today I am going to say maple walnut gelato. We have a locally owned gelato place and it is a family recipe and so good. I do stop now and then on my way back from the Mall. Since I don't go there too often it is a special treat for me. big chunks of nuts in all their gelato. no toppings and just cones or a dish of it. no sundaes or splits or blizzard type treats. They have started to sell hot dogs this summer. Guess they had a lot of requests.
Spent some time in the library checking out a list I have for some books. Always fun and the girls are really helpful. I must try the computer for the stacks one of these times. Have not done that.
thank you for carrying on for me this morning I do appreciate it. Was tired of trying and getting no where. Seems okay now.

Molly, I love this lemon filling and decided that for me I am just going to make the filling and put in pretty glasses and maybe Reddi Whip on the top. I will post the recipe if you want it but it is a not a short cut. Standing and stirring and so worth it.
Jenny, hope the new meds work for you and tofu is an acquired taste and not sure I could acquire it!! But certainly if I were in your shoes I would eat it. My Dad's family never had reunions and we lived out in the country and they all showed up a lot of Sundays' for spaghetti dinner, my Dad had a horse shoe court for the adults and he and his brothers would play even after dark. Had clay base and lots of big spot lights. My Dad built a play ground for us kids on the same lot across the street from us, and except a pool we had everything. but the hose worked just as well and sometime even a sprinkler end for kids of all ages. I was one of the oldest kids so I usually got the babysitting job to entertain everyone, while the women were in the kitchen cooking and cleaning up from all the eating. My uncles helped build that house and guess it was only fair to have them every Sunday for years. Fun times, really.
Was going to lunch with my neighbor but she asked if we could go earlier as her sister needed her. We just rescheduled for thursday instead. I hate to hurry when I am out. I stopped at DQ for a grilled chicken salad to go. They wrap the chicken in aluminum foil for you when you get it to go and I love that.
