Morning! A bit hung-over here and I didn't have a drop to drink! Was that a game??? I must say I'm still in shock. I gave up on them and then they totally blew my mind. Thank you, Patriots for a super, Super Bowl! And Lady Gaga was fantastic. Because the team didn't start playing well until the 3rd quarter I never dipped into my snacks! Too scared to nibble! I envy you ksbruns living right there in Patriot's territory! Off to the pool!

Good morning Pat and all who follow. While I was not happy with the outcome, what a game! And yes Lady Gaga was amazing! I am planned, packed, tracked and everything is ready to be packed for tomorrow's departure.

Good Morning, Hey I remembered to check in -- my day starts early and I get going and forget. Um -- I confess I feel asleep before the end of the game. Normally every year I play super bowl squares and the pay outs are by quarter. I did not play this year but I bet that overtime messed up the pay outs for those that did. I did eat 10 weekly points yesterday - glad I had them.
Have a great start to the week!

I will admit I went to bed in the third quarter, and woke up when the game was over and in my sleepy daze was like WTH! How did the Patriots win?? Lady Gaga put on a great half time show and there were some good commercials!
Happy Monday everyone!

Good morning.
Not a Brady fan but I have to give credit where it's due. Quite the game. Still scratching my head. Gaga is the bomb! What a performer.
Quite brisk this morning but lots of blue sky so far. Have to return a cordless phone to Target & want to pick up a rotisserie chicken this morning. Wish the ones they sold around here were a little bigger. I should probably roast my own chicken but they're never as good.
Have a good one all.

I normally get bored at Super Bowl games because they are so over-done but this was a very good game, esp. in the 2nd half when both teams were playing. The Patriots were absent in the first half but they made up for it in the 2nd. Quite a finish! Lady Gaga did a great job too and I enjoyed some of the commercials. All in all, good time.
Oh, and the TV show afterwards, "24 Legacy" was really good too!

I am GLOWING! What a nail biter - we could not believe the come back. That said - all of the Falcons fans should be proud - your team was on fire and they all played great.
How about Lady Ga Ga's half time show? Such high energy, she totally rocked and it was the best half time show in my memory.

Good morning....yes, what a game....I'm with @naturelover, I think the Falcons really outplayed the Patriots....but you have to be able to close it out. I was really glad I hadn't switched to Masterpiece, LOL, but I was raised to watch to the bitter end...and then it wasn't bitter! I don't ever care about the half-time show (weird, I know) but did think some of the unifying commercials were great. I particularly loved the one of the deployed soldiers and their families. My DDIL posted an Instagram of DS teaching the international fellows about American football, LOL. I know he watched to the end because we texted, but wonder if his *students* lost interest when the Patriot looked asleep for so long. dina How are things with your DFIL? I hope your DH and kids were able to watch the game, back in the 'hood. Like pbnj I didn't find it a festive atmosphere for the food, so was able to survive the weekend without a gain; whew! borntexan Good luck today!! Everyone have a good one! We're taking Leia to be groomed, same groomer, new location, and hopefully will get a bit more done around the house. I'm pretty committed to being finished and starting taxes before we leave for TX in two weeks.

ksbruns - My DFIL is doing ok. He is in a hospice care facility and only taking morphine as needed which is good. We are still here in Florida so we did watch that fantastic superbowl here - we will fly up to RI once he passes, which hopefully isn't for quite some time

I have to confess that neither my husband nor I watched the football game. Neither of us like American football. Hubby is a European and just never got into it. European/Every other country football (soccer) is more interesting to him. Instead we went out to a new Asian restaurant in our area. The food was absolutely delicious. Much more gourmet than the usual Asian restaurant. And my meal was fairly diet friendly.
I want to get a nice walk in today, plus run a couple of errands. I'll probably eat something out again. Maybe a bowl of soup.

Good morning all! Internet is finally up and running, I think the tears of the Falcons fans shut us down, thanks for kicking us off pbnj and congrats to all the Pats fans. I want to say what a game, what an ending, but it is what the Pats do. They get everyone's hopes up by playing like they just don't care, then boom, they show up. Granted this time they truly blew it out of the water, geez. I will say I am glad the helicopter flyovers are done. Has it been as bad where you are too linda72? marchby, Brenda if you ever come to check in and we aren't here yet, feel free to start us off. This is just an accountability thread, we don't have any fancy rules or preset starters! ((( ann1953))) Have fun on your vacation susiq25679! Good luck with your injections @beckyw2016 Have a great day everyone!

Exciting game last night. A great end to a wonderful day. We had a fun time at lunch with family. All was finally tracked and journaled and I'm moving on. Another sunny day with temps in the 60s. Dd and I have our list of errands and to dos. I have my pencil for checking off accomplished tasks. Heading out shortly to work out. Have a great day everyone.
