Have good news to share: My brother's pathology report was examined at John Hopkins. The type of cancer was downgraded. He completed another chemical flush. Happily, he did not have to have his bladder removed. And he is going forward with an oncologist p/urologist ( do not know the term) with theCancer Institue of America. He will need continued monitoring. And he is likely to need cancer cells removed and chemo. Not the best situation, but better than a complete bladder removal.

June That is good news they didn't have to remove his bladder.I have a niece who has kidney cancer and they had to remove most of one of her kidney's.Thank goodness she didn't have to do chemo but poor woman is only 40 and she has had 10 surgeries for back/kidney problems. My prayers are with you and your brother.Good luck at your workshop.
Susi Good for you being planned and tracked already. Are Jack and Missy your cats or dogs?I have 2 cats and one is pretty calm except when she runs through the house and the other one plays so hard she bounces off the walls sometimes. It's so funny to watch.Poor Scooter(my big dog)just looks at them sometimes and other times she just runs them.I hope you enjoyed your show.I have never watched it.Enjoy your hair therapy Saturday.
Ann Great goals.
I am planning another OP day.I'm also planned and tracked for tomorrow. We need to do our grocery shopping for the weekend because I just don't like going to the grocery store on the weekend.I plan to ride the recumbent bike and if it's warm enough I will try for a walk in the afternoon. We have a slight warm front for 2 days then cool again.
Good evening all.

Thx! I feel that this was the best possible outcome after the small spots of cancer discovered in the middle of December. Am hoping that the team at CI of Am. push him towards a more holistic approach a healthier diet. I have said what I could say on the matter. So. . . Now I pray and hope for the best.
Susi Exactly. News is as good as it realistically could be, but it still involved chemo and future testing..To add to their worries, ATT has slashed the workforce. He did not get cut this time. Hard situation for someone whose ongoingcancer treatments are $$. Ha ha ha...I can picture your fur babies scampering. I confess that I have never watched GA, but know it has many loyal fans.
Becky Oh that's too bad. Your niece is very young to be dealing w/ all that the kidney cancer entailed. My brother turns 64 tomorrow. A Grocery store can be a zoo on Sat. Or Sun. I also will go tomorrow for the same reason. That's great that you have the whole week plotted out!

geminigrl I am so glad your brother's prognosis is better than anticipated. I hope he continues to keep his job. So many worries. borntexan your niece has gone through so much at such a young age I wish we didn't go to the store on Saturday but DH insists on going with me. susiq25679 way TMI but this afternoon I looked out the window and saw Lily Belle humping our orange cat Indiana. I went ballistic She treats him like a stuffed animal or worse. February blew out quickly. DH said fewer clients paid their bills and I explained that people get surprised when February ends. Today I will help DH send out February bills to clients. Not much else other than making phone calls to club members. I may see a movie. Someone in the club who has been a movie reviewer for 15 years suggested a movie club and that we all see Fighting With My Family. Not my typical movie but it is at the cheap theater near home and near where my neighbor manages an AT&T store. DH needs another charger and I need a new case since the glitter is beginning to leak out of mine. I really need a screen but know they are expensive. Dinner will be grilled steak, salad leftover from Thursday, roasted butternut squash and asparagus and a glass of red wine. Crossing fingers but I think my cough is gone.Let's all have a great day and a relaxing weekend.

Yesterday was a day of power and dsl cuts. I read a couple of books and will review them today. The sun is shining and I see a hot shower in the future. We have propane gas for our stove (like someone else that lost theirs) and it usually goes out when it is my turn to cook a meal for friends...and hubby is not home...
Today I will:
* Eat healthy meals * Drink plenty of water * Think positively

Good morning all. Slept well and feeling good. Becky I hear you loud and clear. I also avoid the supermarket on a weekend. Too crowded for me to deal with. I shall also go today for a few things and will also walk should it warm up. June I had to scrub the broiler pan the other night as well. Hope you slept well. Audrey enjoy your movie and day. Supper sounds good. Nice that you are planned and tracked. Cathy happy that you have sunshine. It really picks you up. Nice that you do the reviews of books. Today I shall KOKO as usual. We have enough turkey left over for another go around and what is left I'll freeze for later. I like turkey but not like chicken for some reason. Waving to all and wishing all a pleasant Friday and beginning of a new month

No time to chat right now.
At WI I was up 1# from last week and still up from 2 weeks ago.
Just found out our governor declared a state of emergency because the Mississippi River is so high, and we have 3 days of more rain, including today.
So much happens while I sleep.

Good morning, all! Prayers continue... esp for our ailing posters & Loved Ones... and those under particular stress... and {{{HUGS}}}... and thankYouThankYouTHANKYOU for your prayers for me and my family... DivaTaxi & MHMR as usual, then LA-Fitness a half-hour later than usual. Looks like I need to book way ahead to get the time(s) I need. I'm feeling bone-weary these last couple of days; I wonder what's up with that. Last evening MissMouse & I went to a lecture that was VERY good. The guest speaker is someone whom DDIL-the-psychologist knows and thinks is good at what she does (youth/children's issues). It was not hugely-attended but some good questions were asked and answered. We each got the free book and I also bought "Smart Parenting - Smart Child" by this same speaker for us to share. www.woodbridge.k12.nj.us/cms/lib/NJ01913008/Centricity/Domain/4/RaisingHappierKids_Flyer.pdfNeed coffee... coffeeeeee... ☕️☕️☕️... 🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥

Becky - Missy is a 12 yo polydactyl black cat and Jack is a 5 yo long hair tuxedo cat. Charlie is a 13 yo pit/boxer mix. Good job on being planned and tracked! Prayers for your niece. Still a lot going on Audrey. Enjoy the movie if you go. Yay on having gas Cathy! Hi Bee. Stay safe! I'll check that out later MJ. Glad you enjoyed it. I was very surprised at the amount of snow this morning and as of 6:30 the roads were untouched. Hopefully they will be better as I venture out to work.

June Happy Birthday to your brother.Yes my niece is too young but they would never have found the cancer had it not been for all her back operations and infections that followed. She feels very blessed for them to have found it so early.
Audrey Thanks. My niece has her first grandson to keep her mind off her problems now and seems to be doing great. We have gone grocery shopping on Saturday's but DH doesn't like it either and we won't go on Sunday after church ever again so hopefully today we can get everything we need for the weekend.Enjoy the movie and your dinner sounds great.
Cathy Great goals.
Ann I'm glad you slept well.I like turkey and chicken but DH won't eat either so I eat my chicken in my lunch salads.
Bee I'm sorry about the state of emergency due to rain.Stay safe.
MJ You do so much in addition to being a diva taxi.Maybe you need to try to rest a little when you can now that you are retired if that's at all possible.
Susi Thanks for the prayers.I have 2 cats also in addition to my big dog.My cats aren't as old as yours.Your Tuxedo cat really sounds pretty.I'm not familiar with the other breed.I hope they clear the roads so you can drive safely to work.
Not much planned today except for the grocery shopping and at least one round on the recumbent bike.Like Ann if it warms up enough I will also walk.I am down .8 for last week and in my happy zone.
Have a great day all.
