Bee stay safe. MJ thanks for the link. Will check it out after posting. I share your bone tiredness feeling. Susi stay safe as well. Sorry for your snow and hopefully the roads will be clear before you need to venture out. Becky enjoy your recumbent bike ride We have a HUGE pine tree in our yard that is leaning toward the street. We live in an over 55 community and Carl went to let the manager know. The 'tree guys' will be taking it down. It really got bad when we had that horrible wind that blew shingles off our roof. I'm just happy that they are going to take care of it! Waving to LaDonna Pam and anyone else I may have missed.

Peeking in from work - I'm op so far and really enjoyed my evening meal out last night as well as visiting with old friends. I did end up having the Salmon, rice and grilled veggies. Its was delicious but it had a little too much salt for me. That's something I don't usually say because i like salt but this was more than even I like. I stayed within my points though so for that I am happy. Jayleigh is coming over after work for a little visit and we may take her out to eat somewhere. I'll pick and choose wisely if we do. Downpours here today! wishing all a great start to the weekend! CBL...

No time to chat right now. At WI I was up 1# from last week and still up from 2 weeks ago. Just found out our governor declared a state of emergency because the Mississippi River is so high, and we have 3 days of more rain, including today. So much happens while I sleep. Are you close to the river? It's the same with the Russian River north of SF with more rain this weekend.

LA-Fitness was a debacle. And feeling oh-SO-weary didn't help.

Looks like a really great lecture, MJ and very timely. What happened at LA Fitness? I think you may need an MJ/Toots do nothing weekend. Becky - A polydactyl has extra toes. Missy has 6 each on her front paws instead of the usual 5. I have lots of pet pictures on my FB page if you want to check them out. Ann - Glad they will take care of that tree before it becomes a problem. LaDonna - Enjoy the time with Jayleigh. It's a bit slushy and ugly out so I'll skip my lunch walk today.

Sunshine and blue skies today. Snow predicted this weekend. I’m out the door soon to get to the grocery store. I’m finishing up menu planning so I’ll be prepared as I finish my grocery list.
I’m pleased to say that February ended with all blue days. Aiming to continue that trend. Have a healthy day everyone.

Hi! Am clearly late to this party! Went to my WW workshop, which was exceptionally good. Thought that I would hit a few grocery stores but ended up feeling like <meh> and only bought just a few items. Will make baked pork chops, roasted butter squash, and zucchini & onions in garlic & olive oil. May or may not add some generic quick stuffing to dinner since R would wonder where his starch item is.. I have plenty of pants to make it w/ biutter, reduce the butter, or cut the butter out completely.
Have made a small pot of all vegetable soup-- only used my 6 quart pot. I do not see any finding it's way to the freezer. R's buddy, Marty, is under the weather. So, he will get a few servings.

June, that is good news about your brother, hope the treatments will work and all will be well. Susi, I've never watched a single episode of GA I've heard it is great, though. I just finished watching Reign on Netflix. It was enjoyable. Ann, I really enjoy turkey and its soon to be turkey season here in SC.. DH husband loves to turkey hunt. Maybe he will harvest one. Becky, so sad about your niece. Cancer is just awful. Same here weather wise, warm then cool -add rain to all and repeat Audrey, crossing my fingers too that your cough is gone! Cathy, reading sounds relaxing..great plans. Pam, great job ending the mo. in blue! Bee, stay safe! MJ, hope you get to feeling better (((HUGS)))

Audrey Am crossing my fingers as well I hopes that your cough has disappeared. We have leftover steak in the fridge, but only enough for R to add in an omelette. Slow pays are the worst for a business. Though I understand what you mean about the month's end coming too quickly.
Ann Ha ha ha... I always think that leftover turkey or chicken is the gift that keeps giving. I usually get a dinner for 4 people-- me, R, Mom & Dad this first go around, and then another meal for me, R, and his friend, Marty. The scraps and carcass get cooked down into meat & stock to freeze. It can be soup, creamed chicken, chicken noodle soup, or chicken & dumplings. Yesterday's leftover chicken made a pot of wickedly good tasty cream chicken w/ vegetable. It feed 5 people. Love being thrifty and have such a good meal for so many for such little money & effort.
Thought of you as I was making the vegetable soup.
Glad that the roof repair and damaged tree can be fixed through the HOA.

Becky HIp hip hooray! For many .8 much not seem like much, but it's a lot "bigger" loss when it's connected to a "happy zone." Much more challenging to to lose those lass 1-10 lbs. Enjoy your warmer weather. We are i the mid 30s and everyone is quite happy!
Cathy Oh... those power outages can really wreck havoc in our modern lives. Glad that you have a propane cook stove for cooking. Apologies, but I forget what type of books your review. Would you plz refresh my memoriy? We are very fortunate. Richard and I have camping gear, a fireplace, wood, charcoal, & candles. Our stove is gas.

Bee j Stay safe and warm. I do not like the idea of the Mississippi rising. We once had to time our crossing of the OLe Mississippi during a flood. We drive like crazy to cross during a narrow window of time when I-80 would be open. The devastation that we saw as we crossed a bridge was heartbreaking.
Susi Ugh! This winter weather has been a trial, hasn't it? How are all your fur babies and ferals doing in the winter snow that turns to slush then waterlogged ground?
Mj Sigh... too bad that LA FItness does not have a more flexible class or training schedule. With so many moving parts in your days, it would help a lot. Am praying as hard as I can that any lingering issues from the insurance kerfuffle will soon be 100% resolved. Any extra stress is something you do not need at this time. I know that you know that.. . .
Could you be coming down w/ something?
LaDonna Love, love, love hearing that you get to spend some time with Jayleigh. She will brighten your day! Great job making healthy choices for your meal at the tavern. You rocked it!

Susi The treatment is something that he has had several times now. I worry about scar tissue and so on. But these things are out of my hands, so...
