Okey dokey Am sitting down to a nice large bowl of "clear-out-refrigerator-and freezer vegetable soup. Yum, yum, yum! Laugh all you want-- am pleased as punch to use up frozen Roma tomatoes, frozen au jus, and celery on its last leg.
Dang, this is some seriously gooooooood soup.

LOL yup, turkey/chicken surely is the food that keeps going on and on and on Time to get a move on. Take care, all.

June - It appears that the ferals are finally learning that the 2 structures in the woods will protect them from the weather. We still can't catch momma and it looks like she might be preggers again. Missy mostly stays in in this weather but Jack-a$$ loves it. Charlie and his cousin Frankie were giddy in the snow this morning. LOL. I just have to make sure he doesn't slide and reinjure his leg.

I am approximately 48 miles from the Mississippi River --- as the crow flies.
Nothing got done today except a visit with my oldest son. He spent the day with his Mom. Pushed everything to tomorrow.

LaDonna Enjoy your time with Jayleigh. We weren't expecting rain but it's 56 and cloudy with a chance of light rain tomorrow. Then Sun-Tue expecting cold weather for us anyway.
Pam Good for you in getting all blue dots for Feb.
June Enjoy your vegetable soup.We just got through with a round of pork chops last night.I am actually below the WW goal and my personal goal so I'm not trying to lose really.Just some weeks it shows up and a loss or maintain is better than a gain in my case.Any losses now are usually total surprises. In Central TX the 30's are cold.We are expecting freezing lows Monday and Tuesday. We are wimps when it comes to cold weather.Stay warm and sending good wishes for your brother.
Ann I'm sorry the tree people didn't show up today.
Susi My dog Scooter has never even seen snow and she will be 5 in May.LOL on Jack-a$$. I have one cat that likes to find ways to get out of the house. Both of these are house cats and she never goes anywhere when she gets out but we are leery of leaving her out with our big dog.Scooter is so funny though. When Marcie does get outside she whines and tells us where she is.If she is inside she whines when she can't find Marcie and they don't even like each other. My other cat never tries to go anywhere. They would freeze where you live.
I did get in 30 minutes on the recumbent bike and also got in a 40 minute walk.It was 56 and cloudy but no wind so the walk really felt good.
I need to cook dinner so will BBL.

This is the son that had breast cancer back in 2013, both breast removed, and they found he has a brain tumor somewhere deep in his brain. Yes, he is a breast cancer survivor.
This is the first time in almost 6 years that he has looked his normal color.

Ann Hope the tree removal happens sooner than later! Susi You made me giggle. W/ pets you never have a dull moment! Sigh.... I hope that the momma cat is not pregnant. But that is not likely.
Becky Thx for the clarification. You are doing a fantastic job on maintenance.
Bee j We truly do not know what comes next.
Hope this was a good visit for you both.
