Ann and Becky, you can have my portion of frosted brownies.
Finished off the beets I roasted. They were soooo good. Did pickle about 1 1/2 beets cut up with 3 eggs and some sliced onion in a jar.

Becky - Close friends of the family have a dairy farm about 90 minutes away. The main farmhouse was also a B&B. When my dad left home at 17, he worked there for several years. Growing up, we went frequently. I can milk a cow, pluck a chicken and several other farm chores, as well as try to catch barn cats. In NJ at least, dairy farming is not very profitable so the 3rd generation decided to give it up. Ultimately he went back to it as a hobby with about 40 cows. June - Napping is not normal or easy for me but I can do some wind down time. Glad the beets turned out good. How about the beet greens? Good job Pam Sleep well Ann. Carol and I had an amazing day. Music is a very bit part of our family. I have a USB in my car that includes 1500 extremely diverse songs from the 40's on up. It's in alphabetic order so the last part of the trip we were singing at the top of our lungs Psychotherapy by Melanie; Puff the Magic Dragon by PPM and Question by Moody Blues. I ended buying the jug of wine.
