Saturday's goals Clean house and grade papers. More than willing to break up the jobs and spreading them over two to three days. I know that a bowl of vegetable soup is on tomorrow's menu, but need to plan the rest.
Happy, healthy Saturday!

Rain came late last night and I am not sure when it will end today. We are going grocery shopping and then this evening we are going to a restaurant to a surprise party for my best friend's 70th birthday. Her sons and daughters-in-laws planned it and it is not too far from home. I asked her about weekend plans yesterday and all she knew was the family was going to dinner Saturday night. She has already planned a girls' party for March 23rd with a limo to take us to Bass Lake in the Sierras with lunch at Ducey's Lodge, a landmark where I have never been. She is my party friend. On one of my birthdays she took me to the Indian casino and for her 65th four of us went on a 3 night Carnival cruise to Baja. Meals have to be lean this week because of tomorrow plus dinner next Friday and then Las Vegas March 10th to 13th. I can do it and do not plan to wear the brace in LV. It will be five weeks. What are your plans for the weekend?
June have a great Saturday and weekend. I love all soups especially in this weather.

I think I am becoming my mother...or at least taking up her late-to-bed and want-to-sleep-in habits. I was up till 3am last night but did not sleep till noon as she often did. I don't know what happened in the past ten or so years but I used to have eight hour nights with regular hours in and out of bed...hit a period of time I woke in the week hours of the morning and could not sleep and NOW can't get to sleep...I guess we are ALWAYS changing
Yesterday I spent much time under afghans trying to stay warm. Today I may do the same?
What I CAN do (and plan to do): * tidy the kitchen * begin cleaning for the lunch here on Wednesday * make healthy meals * journal
It is another gloomy day and wet and rainy so...think staying inside is a good idea.
I wrote down your handles with the names I *think* belong to each of you...will keep an eye on that before addressing anyone by name rather than handle

Good morning, June - Audrey - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue... esp for our ailing posters & Loved Ones... and those under particular stress... and {{{HUGS}}}... and thankYouThankYouTHANKYOU for your prayers for me and my family...
❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️
There's at least 3" of snow out there! I'm trying to find out if my 8 AM WW workshop is still happening. Since I went to one on Thursday, I already got my 50 Wellness WINS, but I really wanted to hear the substitute coach (haven't seen her in a dog's age). The snow should end well before it's time for the Kressling's soccer practice 1-3 PM. Otherwise, we don't need to go out. I've got a $10 AC Moore certificate but it doesn't expire until 3/31, and I've got enough yarn for a few more seamen's scarves... well, for a LOT more, but I'd like to get a few more colors...
More medInsurance drama yesterday, with BC-BS somehow entered as a secondary insurance at Medicare and "nobody" knows how to get it out. I am so over it.
We watched NASCAR truck racing last night; today is the Xfinity series and tomorrow is the Monster Energy Cup series (big dogs in the sport).
Coffee's brewed... ☕️☕️☕️... and the porch is swept... but I need a shovel for the rest... BBL...
❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️ Have a healthy-eating day, all! ❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️

Audrey Have fun at the surprise birthday party. Should be lots of fun and interesting to visit a local sightseeing place! Great job balancing out the planned indulgences at your social events and trips with leaner meals at home. Bet you cannot wait to retire that brace!
Do you attend any shows at Vegas? When our nephew lived in Vegas, we attended the dinner show at Excalibur. The show featured superbly trained horses and skilled riders.

Good morning all. Off to a good start. Woke up feeling more restful. I'll take it LOL June, I'll also enjoy a bowl of veggie soup! Audrey sorry for you rain. Enjoy the bday party. Cathy great idea to cuddle up when it's cold outside. MJ the majority of the snow is going south of us. Doesn't hurt my feelings at all. Hopefully your snow will stop at 3". Yuck to all that medical mumbo jumbo. Praying that it all gets straightened out for you and Toots. Today, depending on the weather, I'll take a hood walk and do some household chores that I've been putting off. I have laundry washing, so I can cross that off the ever growing list!!!!! Waving and wishing all a great Saturday. Will CBL

Cathy Funny how easily we can fall into or develop a new routine. Do you mind the new sleep pattern? Cathy, you can call me Gemini, Geminigrl, or June. When we migrated over from the WW msg boards, I just kept my old handle. My DH is Richard. Sometimes I refer to him as DH, Richard, or R. If I write about Joan, she I is my deceased twin. We were born in June on the first double digit day, June 11. Our astrological sign is Gemini, the twins. Our birthday can be written as II, which the astrological symbol for Gemini. So I am a Geminigrl through and through!

Mj Am joining Ann in wishing that your snow stops at 3". That I saw more than enough, thank you very much, especially if it isn't wet and heavy. Is more snow forecasted? Hope that your Center is open and you can see the coach & your WW buddies.
Sighing big time.,. I find those type of record keeping errors so utterly frustrating. Am sending up a big time prayer that you can soon move forward w/o any insurance kerfuffles.

Ann Ha ha ha... are there any "honey-do" chores on your growing list? Hope that you get everything accomplished inshort order.
Am feeling a little guilty, I am "talking" to you and not ready to get up and at it. R is in "go" mode. He started a load of work clothes, made coffee, made me a vegetable omelette, washed up a few dishes, and is brewing e another cup of tea. Myself, I wanted to talk to all of you first!
Ann, my vegetable soup is sooooooooo good. Hopefully it will help R's friend shake this cold that he has.

Good morning all. June - Good idea to spread the work out. Soup in this weather is always a good idea. Hope R's friend is feeling better. Audrey - Enjoy the party. Dang on the dates. I'll be in LV starting March 26th Cathy - God bless you. I couldn't do it. I'm lucky to see 9 p.m. Hope your day goes as planned. I'm just Susi or Susan Got to love our government, MJ. Hope you can get this nightmare to end. No snow here. Just rain that has mostly moved out. Ann - I need to start laundry. Hope you can get that walk in. Glad your soup also turned out extra good. It's raw out so Charlie and I drove to feed the ferals. They were all dry and warm this morning! Yay! Then I took Charlie down to the river since we can't get to some of our favorite spots during the week as we are committed to the ferals and have time constraints. This morning I have a touch up. Love my hairdresser but (1) she is never on time and (2) takes forever. As DGF told me yesterday, I simply don't know how to relax. My sister and I are likely to take a ride to a winery that is having a new release this weekend. It's quite an interesting place. In addition to their bottled wines they sell wine by the jug. After I taste this batch of cantina mas I will decide whether or not I want to refill my jug. amaltheacellars.com/cantina-mas/. There is another winery about 10 minutes away that I don't think my sister has been too but we will play that by ear. Breakfast and lunch are planned and tracked. The rest will be worked around the winery(ies). Taking a break from the gym today as I am quite sore from yesterday.

Looks like a beautiful SC day! Sipping coffee and about to take a walk. Jayleigh was loads of fun yesterday. we ate Italian out and took her by Kmart and she got a new doll. She is the sweetest kid Today is church work, errands and a get together later where alcohol will be flowing as well as food. Randy and I are just stopping by for a bit to visit but we have church in the morning and I have to set up for Communion so we wont' be out late. June, I need to do some food planning as well. Cathy, stay warm MJ, the snow sounds pretty enjoy! Ann, LOL the chore list never ends does it? have a great day! Susi, I love how busy you stay! living life to the fullest
