Good morning, all. I'm IN. It's mild and very foggy here but the skies should clear later this morning. I'm meeting my friends for lunch and games at noon today. It will be nice to visit with them.
I'm planning on grilled chicken with roasted veggies for dinner. Hope everyone enjoys the day!

Good morning!
Sunny day, temps above freezing and it looks like they will be, at least in the daytime, for at least the next ten days. I see some green in the garden---crocuses shooting up through the snow. Spring is here?
The girls are in full production. 6/6 for eggs yesterday so even the raggedy moulting one has been inspired by longer days. Pretty soon I will be giving them away.
Wishing all a peaceful day---KOKO!

Great photo diva49I woke up at 5:30 and got out of bed at 5:50 because I began to cough. DH has the alarm set for 7. I stopped coughing as soon as I moved to the couch. I have to find something to wear to a formal event April 13th and I am so bloated. They’ve seen my one long dress two years in a row. I’m off to to the mall after breakfast. I walked 16000 steps yesterday. Perfect weather in the low 60s. Hope we all have a good day.

Hi all, I'm in. trying to wake my students up while I'm wishing for a nap myself!
Weekend with brother and niece was quieter than the normal but very nice. Mamma drama, but that's not unusual.
Having trouble adjusting to the gabapentin. I sleep like a rock but have a sleep hangover the next morning. Was advised to take it around 2:00-3:00 in the afternoon to help avoid the morning side effect. It says alcohol in moderation as it may increase sleepiness. Normally I don't have a problem with that. But I took the med at 2:00 yesterday afternoon had two wine coolers at 7:00 and I'm so foggy headed today it's crazy. I'm hoping I will get used to it.
The first two weeks on the zoloft were miserable and then I adjusted. I'm hoping for that.
Does anyone have any experience and suggestions for gabapentin?
Enjoy the spring thaw!

Good morning all and thank you for starting us up linda72! ☕️☕️☕️ I don't know how you people are all so perky and peppy when you post here before you go in for fasting blood work. I refrained from posting before I left this morning because it would have looked something like this #*$&+/={]_^£[£\. With a few colorful emojis thrown in that I usually save for football season. 🤣🤣🤣 Have a great day everyone! 🌫🌫🌫🌫< Fog bank 🤣

I'm in. Nothing exciting on tap today & it's a good thing since I didn't sleep well last night. Hubby is off to take a friend to a doctor's appointment. DS will be heading to volunteer at Animal Friends (local shelter). He walks the dogs & plays with the kitties. Dinner needs to be easy today since everyone has a different schedule so it looks like grilled cheese with tomato soup & salad. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Hi all, I'm in. Does anyone have any experience and suggestions for gabapentin? Enjoy the spring thaw! Hello, hpeterson! My husband is currently taking gabapentin for a combination of nerve related pain/discomfort and anxiety relief. He's only taking 200 mg in the morning. He was originally prescribed 600 mg per day (taken morn/afternoon/evening) but he only took the 200 mg in the morning because of some side effect that I don't even completely remember. Maybe sleepiness, like you? Anyway, that side effect hasn't been a problem at 200 mg, though the nerve pain is helped a little bit. He wanted to try upping the dose, but our insurance now refuses to even cover the 600 mg. I actually took gabapentin for a week several years ago for something different. It was not sufficient for my needs, so I was taken off of it. I don't remember side effects. I likely had insomnia rather than fatigue. I believe I took over 1,000 mg per day and in conjunction with at least one other medication. I have taken many medications over the years that are highly sedating. Some would really knock people out cold! On some, the sedating side effects eased as I grew used to the medications. A couple, like one I still take, do indeed require that I take them early at night to avoid "morning hangover". That does help, though with mine, falling asleep early is important, too. Hopefully you'll soon find the best way to avoid morning fatigue from gabapentin. Maybe as spring comes, that will also help. I went to my GP for my annual exam. My blood test results were as expected. I need to cut down on fats (especially saturated) and refined sugars. I guess starchy carbs, too. And exercise!

cyndee, Thanks for the info. I guess it's just trial and error. It said one side effect could be euphoria, I was really hoping for that but don't think it's going to happen!
