My daughter came and together we made a sort of loose program .. we aren't having a church gathering, just a graveside service and we are doing it all ourselves.. Several people will speak.. not me. Can't do that. We will have lunch afterward with just sandwiches, salads and of course, Jerris favorite baklava.. My baker daughter is going to make that. We will have some of Jerris favorite music by Enya.. don't know if any of you are familiar with her music.. but there is one song that was her very favorite, called "How can I keep from singing"
Thank you all for the support.. you think maybe it's not helping but I assure it really does and is appreciated.. Linda, how could anyone ever be angry with you.. I love you. And Molly you are so very thoughtful.. Well, almost everyone has been so very thoughtful..
Cat, the question of the day.. I do subscribe to some magazines though one by one I'm letting them run out.. the reason for that is I can get most all the important information online.. And sometimes I don't take the time to really read the magazines anymore. The ones I still get are.. Cooking light, Vegetarian times, and Healthy Living..
I finally did order the vault.. as a matter of fact, just finished doing that.. Ordered it from Amazon.

Good Morning Cat and Looking for Springs,
This morning it was 29* (feels like 24*) and going up to 61* and partly cloudy with winds NE 5-10 mph.
The girls will be in school and all three are glad to see today is Friday and they can sleep in tomorrow morning.
Hannah's school is having what they call a Gala tonight at one of the hotels and she has to be there for a couple of hours to sell something. As I understand it, this is an activity to raise funds for the school. MJ will pick her up when her time is over to bring her home.
Rachael is going to the mall with a friend for a while after school today.
Aunty Acid: Friday Mar 22: I'm sorry I slapped you ... But you didn't seem like you'd ever stop talking ... and I panicked...

good morning,
I finally slept better last night. don't seem to be limping as much as I was. see the chiropractor Thursday.
later we will go and don will report to mitch how the new hearing aids are working for him. then we will have lunch at arby's. run some errands.
trying to figure out what to get delona for her birthday. WE use to love christopher and banks. now have a hard time finding anything There or kohl's.
jenny the service will be beautiful. you are remembering her with all that she liked. I have always liked the name

Jenny, you are going to have a beautiful service for your daughter.
Several years ago I got started with some magazines to help wit MAD after a couple of boys here were severely injured by a drunk driver. I am not renewing. Someone, I don't know who, subscribed to Good Housekeeping for me. I flip through it, mark my name out, then donate it. I am not a good housekeeper LOL. So why bother to read it.
Kathie, I am not surprised by your vote. You can use that as your own name for the month.
Trace used the pole saw yesterday and they helped me pick up limbs etc. Said they will come back for another work day. His sis will be going to A&M in Corpus next year. She is excited.
Time to dress. I want to go to the gym early enough to use some of the machines before class time.

Good morning. It is snowing, lightly but still snowing!! More than flurries but not a blizzard.
I am not sure what is happening today. A load of laundry for sure.
Doris hope you can at least get one load of laundry done today. Know you are a little low on clothes since most of yours are "gone" with the moving van.
I was going through my closet yesterday to see what I have not worn this winter and was surprised that everything had been worn. Sometimes in the past I have had stuff hanging in there that I didnt' wear for 2 or 3 years. don't do that anymore and glad I am sticking with that plan. The one drawer is different. it is every day stuff and some of it needs to go as it is more than lovingly worn. Sure you know what I mean.
Past it's prime.
Still have quite a few votes to go but at the end of the day will declare a winner unless there is a tie. In that case will try to get it on later this afternoon. Does that make sense.?
QOTD I only get the AARP magazine as actually that is the only one I was reading. Had hard time getting rid of WW magazine. I think they sent it to me for months after my subscription ran out. I didn't even pass it on to anyone as no one I knew wanted it. It finally quit coming. My DD had the same problem. She said it was not helping her in the least and quit reading it as well. She tried to cancel her subscription but they wouldn't do it for one reason or another. She didn't expect her money back just wanted it to stop coming
I still get a lot of offers for magazines I used to get but just toss them after debating with myself. Everything is really geared to young women and I don't cook that much anymore. Use the tried and true recipes .
