Good morning all. It's just barely still morning here.
CJ, good seeing you. I like moderate temps myself...about 72 seems perfect to me. I love the flying geese quilt on the site you gave us the link too. I, for some reason, just really like flying geese.
Ginny, you have so many busy days. I bet you wouldn't know what to do with yourself if you had a bunch of really leasurely days. A dear friend sent me some excellent recipes so now I have a bunch of days covered while my dsis is here. Since I never know what to make it sure was a huge help. My standbys are hamburgers and potato salad. Other than that I have no specialities.I do make a lot of spaghetti sauce but dh likes it very garlicy and spicy so not sure anyone else would be able to eat it.When ds and dgd were here I made meatball sandwiches but them found out that dgd doesn't like meatballs.

ok, got a few household things done. cleaned another cushion, got my yarn together for the little doll then went out and did some of the "dreaded yard work" Now I'm tired. I'll rest and crochet then do some more cushion cleaning and do the arms and back...maybe some will wait till tomorrow.
I'm going to make the hat and clothing of the doll in a color called turqua. It's RH super saver. I always thought it would be better to make these things in a softer yarn but found that once you stuff them they are really soft and "squishy".I didn't have the green they showed...I know you asked about that, Ginny, but I forgot to answer.
So what is everyone up to today. I wonder how Sue is.When I go to the other board to post on my other thread I do see Betty's name as starting what I think is her thread so I think she is ok

Good evening!
Let me be the first to say....I cannot believe that tomorrow is Monday and that stinks! CJ- thanks for the slow stitch Sunday link. Glad you are enjoying the cooler weather, its so nice!! Nice to wear fuzzy clothes, and not feel too hot. Hope you are snuggling up with a good book or movie and enjoying the day. Think you will get to work on the pillows from your Dad’s shirts soon? Yes, I also like the flying geese quilt, its so pretty and colorful. Have you ever made a flying geese quilt?
Ruth, sounds like you put in a full day!! 72 degrees is warm enough for some yard work...not sure what your temps are today. Glad you got some more housework done, a little bit at a time and you will not exhaust yourself. RH turqua is such a pretty color....which I like better than the color green they had in the pattern. As far as housework goes, its very patient and waits for you. tomorrow is another day. Hope you get some crochetting time in!! Hey, none of us ever know what to make when company is coming over, me too! I get a lot of my recipes from Taste of Home magazine and Country Woman magazine...I like them because they have normal food without exotic ingredients.
Hard to believe that another week starts tomorrow. Got another busy week and at the end of the week, the second BOM block. I know one block is flying geese....
Guess I better go clean up the kitchen. Dh just cooked which usually makes for a messy stove.
Take care all Ginny

I think today was in 50's when I was out doing the yard work. Now they;re saying it will be cooler days for the whole week ahead..no 72 degrees after all.
I got a lot done on the doll. Might finish the body which includes the head this evening. I might even get the arms made but probably won't sew those on tonight. So it will probably be done tomorrow so what do I do next..hmmmmm. Oh and I don't know if I mentioned that I got dsis' cat potholder done. It's mostly for decoration.Finished that last evening.
And I can't believe either that it's a new week already.Friday I said to myself that I was shocked to realize it was already Friday.
