I'm IN.
WW workshop. Skipping WW "family" breakfast - only so many hours in the morning. First Holy Communion. Family party (not at my house, but we're assisting DD with setup so she can be "Mom" at the church). What-EV-er else pops up.
Only ONE mug of coffee until my WW weigh-in... ☕☕☕... had to make it last...
✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨ Have a healthy-eating day, all. ✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨

Good morning, diva49, Sounds like you've got a busy day planned. Enjoy! Well, DebDoesWW, we got the rain last night! We got 2" over the past 24 hours and it looks like the storms have moved past. I'm going with DD and the grands this morning to see the new Avengers movie. I'm packing some grapes and walnuts for us to snack on because I heard it's a long movie.

diva49, sounds like a nice day---enjoy! linda72, I never followed the series so I'm not planning on seeing the movie unless I binge watch all the preceding ones---maybe someday! Have fun with the kids! Good morning. I looked out this morning and saw a female turkey strolling by. She was gobbling up stuff near my front porch and while I was watching her the first hummingbird of the year visited the feeder. What a nice scene to wake up to! The turkey is a frequent visitor and probably has her little ones over in the brushy area near the wetlands bordering our property. There are lots of them around and later on we will see the moms bring their babies out with them. Even though it is wet and they're calling for rain again I have to get going with some garden chores. One more week until I can start the real planting. So ready to get out there!! Wishing all a lovely day. KOKO.

MJ - It's going to be a long day but hope it's enjoyable. Linda - Enjoy the movie Fullmahina - I will also be working in the garden despite it being a bit wet because we are getting heavy rains tomorrow and can't do it then.

I'm in. Good morning all. What a great family day diva49, - enjoy! It's raining but, we're taking a drive up-country to our favorite nursery. They seem to be the only place around where we can get dragonwing begonias. My SIL got one for me near New Hope ten years ago and I've been hooked ever since. I think we'll stop at the pub on the way home and split a sandwich. A few chores on tap later. Hope everyone has a good day! lmenglish, Oh no! Sorry about the ballet shoes.

I'm in and it's a beautiful day(I was going to say in the neighborhood)but our country road looks pretty trashed after last nights storm. Our county was under a tornado watch which thank goodness didn't materialize but we did have tornadic force winds. We had only gotten 1.25" during the day yesterday but sometime after 8:00 the winds came and the rain with a tiny bit of hail mixed in.We ended up with 5" total. The wind was so strong it blew over a cedar tree outside out yard. Those things are sturdy and have been around for years.Anyway we get a reprieve for the weekend and then expecting rain starting Monday again.Oh how I'm looking forward to that. It sounds like everyone has a busy weekend planned.Enjoy.

I’m in this beautiful spring day as we celebrate our anniversary with a walk and dinner. New linens on our bed are a luxurious treat.
Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon. I’m in. It is mid afternoon here, so most of you are heading into the evening hours by now. I didn’t do much today—well, there isn’t much to do! I got confirmation last night that kitchen demolition will start about Noon on Monday with the bathroom demolition taking place on Thursday. On Tuesday the kitchen electrical and plumbing work will be starrted. so things will be moving along. I took some before photos and posted them on a web page.I think will now attempt to install the pet gate at the top of the stairs. Famous last words: how difficult could that be??? I hope everyone’s day was enjoyable. KOKO

linda72, thanks. Getting ready for the work wasn’t so bad because I gave myself over 4 weeks so I could do a little each day. Of course, the help from my friend on Thursday made a huge difference. lavonm, the pet gate is installed. Took some figuring out. There is an instruction that indicates that if there is a gap at the latch IT IS NOT A DEFECT—it will close up as you tighten the bolts that secure it to the wall. I didn’t have that experience initially, but eventually after playing with it the gap did close up. I guess LOTS of people are puzzled by that gap—you’d think they’d improve the design! Missy came out and complained simply because something was being made different. I can’t wait to see if she complains a lot when the gate is actually closed. She seems to have adapted to living upstairs; previously she would spend most of the day sleeping on my bed in the master bedroom; in the last several days she’s been spending the day sleeping on my bed upstairs. So I guess she figures a bed is a bed is a bed. LOL.
