Ann Sorry to hear that your partial required another adjustment. Hope that the salt water rinse soothes away the pain and rawness. Crossing toes along with my fingers if as I wish for a speedier fitting process for you.
His nurse is still on part-time duty, but now she needs to get the lawn/yard girl busy.... Honestly, I keep waiting for the shoe to drop. But so far, so good.
Bee j Soooooooo very, very happy that you rec'd an excellent report from your doctor! Relieved that your eyelid looks far better than you dare to expect. An answer to many prayers.
Becky Glad that Scotter is feeling a little better.
Pam Good to hear that you are much improved.

Thursday's goals A long soak in the tub for me Try to get something done for myself intheearly morning before I tackle yard work. Luckily I am more than capable of doing the projects outside. I just have to get a plan in place after I look at the weather forecast. Thaw steaks for dinner. Steak, baked potatoe, & vegetable for dinner should be easy peasy.
Heading to bed soon. Will read a little first. Sleep well my friends.

Yesterday was fun and even though there was only salad, baguette, wine and sugar-free jello I felt I ate too much yesterday. Susi: thank you for the low-fat ranch dressing mix recipe...will see if I can make it with local ingredients.
Today I will:
* Stay OP on CORE/SFT * Hydrate * record what I eat * Look at the GHG list and try to hit all of the items listed

Thursday I am looking forward to a long overdo mani pedi at a salon here in town called the nail factory. By the name I assumed it had something to do with building supplies. A gal I know goes there and recommends them. I figured I would give her a try. Wish me luck. Other than that I shall KOKO.

This is Audrey's We have a leisurely morning as we meet our group at 11:30 to go across the bridge to Buda and see a hospital built in the rocks and other things. We board the boat at 4. I avoided breakfast pastries yesterday and am trying to have only one dessert each day. I also limit alcohol to dinner only. I am not very strict when I travel but little things help stop huge gains. Have a lovely day.

DivaTaxi's off-duty; Son#1 is WFH. MHMR is on its early schedule, and after I drop the Mouseketeer off at school I can come home. 53* now, possibly touching 70* later, and there may be another sunbeam (I sure did enjoy yesterday's!). Toots & I hit ShopRite yesterday; he just mentioned a Wegmans run but that is only for 3 stock items. Otherwise today can be a CinderElla/Fella day, with fuzzyLogic pork roast for dinner.
I haven't heard, yet, whether the Mouseketeer had a better day at school yesterday. The Kressling was able to have soccer practice (as did K'ling2 - and since Toots had a gig, Son#1 took the Zigster with him).
Son#2's Mother's Day card arrived yesterday; DDIL had texted me on Sunday asking about it - her mother hadn't gotten hers although they mailed 'em early LAST week. It was addressed to MOM... LOL.
Son#1 has a dear friend coming back to town for his father's funeral on Friday and his wife has reached out to Son#1 to stand by him. Eric has always been a sensitive person - a really, REALLY nice boy who grew up into a wonderful man - and Nicole is afraid that Eric's mom and sister will be "energy vampires" in their own grief and really do damage to him. Son#1 is taking tomorrow afternoon off; DDIL will take K'ling2 to his soccer game upstate (and probably take the Zigster with her); I will take the Kressling to practice and then we're keeping him overnight since YM drill is on Saturday. Toots & I have offered to take DaBoyz tonight, if Son#1 wants to take Eric out for some "talking time"; we haven't heard yet.
Time for coffee... βββ... I do have to get to the MousekeHouse early...

Ann Yikes! I did not see your earlier start. Apologies! Glad that you caught it and copied Audrey's post. You are a gem! Enjoy the mani/pedi. LOL about the building supply story. Would be really convenient to find a local nail salon!
Ha ha ha. . . loved the "snow" reading to that the sentence. I meant to type SHOE. Oddly enough, I am apprehensive b/c R isdoing so well, and thus am waiting for a "gotcha" moment.
Audrey You are striking a reasonable balance. You are not depriving yourself. You are not tossing aside all restraint. Plus all that walking adds to the equation.
Bee j Waving "hi!" Wishing you another day of healing and improvement.
Becky Hope that your day sees you capable of walking as much as you like without too much discomfort. Do you have an errands to run in town? Good luck assembling your new recumbent bike!
Cathy Terrific! Glad that you all had a blast. Did the hostess modify the amount or types of food as some of you requested? Great checklist for today.
Mj Loving that you and Toots have a hunk of time today for personal chores, errands, or whatever. Hoping that the lil guy & his classmates had a chance to spend recess outside. No news may be good news. Sending up a prayer that Eric can stand apart from the family drama and focus on his own emotions & needs. Bless his wife & your son for being aware and be willing.
LaDonna Hope that you had a nice time last night.
Pam am also appreciating that onset of summer fruits! Had my first handful of fresh cherries. YUm my sister loves her pineapple corer. It is easy to use.
Susi Hope that your morning walk w/ Charlie & workout went smoothly!

Good morning all, I was pleased with my cut and color. Did my errands and got home in plenty of time to get my walk in last night. This afternoon, we are taking out one of our school's bookkeepers that has been with the district 38 years and is retiring the end of May. I will make wise choices at the restaurant. I've been there before and they have plenty of choices so it will be easy. June, its so wonderful that things have been going so well with R - I'm confident that will continue. I love piddling around in the yard. Randy does most of the heavy stuff but I'm the person who puts the finishing touches on things. Cathy, the menu sounds much better at least. I also am guilty of over doing even with healthy selections. Baby steps Ann, so sorry things are such a pain with the partial. Hopefully you'll be pleased with the new nail salon. you certainly deserves some pampering MJ, great that your son can be their for Eric. hope everything will go well as can be expected. Susi, glad all is well cbl...

Hi girls. Well so far the partial isn't hurting...but it still feels 'off'. I will give it a few days as I am not in the right frame of mind to go back there just yet. I want to get some pampering in LOL. Susi enjoy your gym time and happy the fur kids are all good. LaDonna enjoy your meal out. Sounds fun especially seeing as there will be no surprises with the menu and making good choices. Glad you like your cut and color I'm having a lazy morning. All I've managed to do so far is shower, have breakfast and COFFEE and strip the bed LOL....no walking yet. Waving.
