I'm IN.
It's drizzly outside, but I still must check the parsley and dill (the "butterfly salad greens") to see if the water reached their rather sheltered spot. The rest of my garden is really happy...
Since the rest of the week has some evening activities, I need to do some planning today while I have the chance. Must include nap times.
I need my coffee... ☕☕☕...
🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿 Have a healthy-eating day, all. 🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿

Good morning. Rainy morning, nice and cool. Still a little wiped out from weekend chores but enjoying this nice cozy morning. It's supposed to be sunny and beautiful this afternoon so I'll plant my lettuce and radish seeds in deck rail planters. I was going to keep my basement garden going throughout the summer but it is starting to look a little tired so I'll clean that all up and close it down until the fall. The garden is doing nicely---not much is in bloom right but my delphiniums are happy! Have a peaceful day.

Good morning! I'm back from my trip to Atlanta and I'M IN! We left last Wednesday at 4:30 a.m. and drove for 12 hours in the rain. DebDoesWW, we tried to leave early and get ahead of the storms but unfortunately we were in the rain for most of the day. Luckily, we made it safely. We had a nice trip but, as usual, it's good to be home. I'm catching up with reading past posts. I'm making my grocery list of fresh produce and drinking coffee before I go to the mall for my walk. Waving hi to all!

Morning all and thank you for the start MJ! Welcome back linda72 so glad you made it safely through all that rain and had a great trip. 😊 Safe travels hpeterson1951. Have fun! Loving the photos fullmahina, thank your for sharing them. So, today is the big day, attic steps have to come out to get it in there but they will replace them. Luckily, Eric has a doctor appointment so I won't be around to hear the havoc. The range was fixed yesterday!!! No more mysterious F40 beeping at all hours of the day and night. Now for the washer guy to come through, at least this guy got it to do the F5 error and just didn't tell me the filter in the hose was clogged. 🙄 Have a great day everyone! ☕️☕️☕️☕️

I'm in & just finished prepping fruits & veggies for snacks. I got away from doing that so I need to make that a habit again. fullmahina, I always enjoy seeing your garden pics. DebDoesWW, I hope you're done with repairs after this round is over.

Pretty Fullmahina!
I'm in and slammed. I usually get a little ramp up time after Memorial Day until the last week of June, but we have been non stop. I have never hired this many people this early! If the weather cooperates, we could have a record season!

Good morning. I’m in. IT’S DONE!The foreman and one worker finished up everything I found to put on a punch list. Took them all day. The company’s permit guy came by to check it all out pre-inspection to ensure compliance and passage. Inspection is next Tuesday. So I’m transitioning back downstairs. I thought I’d sleep downstairs last night but was just too tired (and hot) to move all the necessary stuff. But I moved essential bathroom stuff down this morning and will use the new shower for the first time a little later this morning. Did I mention it is hot??? The San Jose airport hit an all-time record high yesterday; Santa Clara also broke a record hitting 103°! All my A/C kept the house comfortable downstairs and upstairs, and the Tesla kept itself nicely cooled. It was just getting to and from the car that was a sizzle. I decided to get out of the way at lunchtime yesterday; didn’t feel like eating much with the heat, so I drove through McDonald’s and got a fruit & yogurt parfait. I haven’t had one in a long time, and it seems to me that they got a LOT smaller and had a LOT more calories, carbs and sugar. I think I will make up a few of my own to enjoy over the summer—I know I can do better nutrition-wise. It won’t be quite as hot today, just 97°! So I’m going out early to buy some stuff to make potato salad and will either have a steak or hot dogs with it for dinner. I should have anticipated record highs to hit right when I again have a kitchen to cook in. I think that’s all the news that’s fit to report. I wish everyone a pleasant day. Not too hot. Not too cold. Not too wet. ETA: DebDoesWW, glad your getting the work on your checklist completed. Once you’re done, I hope your house and its contents behave for a while.

fullmahina, beautiful garden! zazzles, stay cool! Glad to read that things are getting back to normal. I have two appointments today. It's kind of pain in that both appointments are in the same area, just a couple minutes from each other, but there are 2 hours between them. I'm not sure what to do during that interim. I don't want to shop too much. I spend oodles yesterday on Father's Day presents, groceries, and clothes, for myself. Hubby suggested I go to an Asian market that is near there. I'm not sure what I should buy. My usual Asian grocery purchases are not so diet-friendly options, like dumplings. I already have lots of fruit. I need to get hubby and me to eat it all before it goes bad. I think fruit salads will need to be made, among other things.

I’m in but can’t do personals other than what my memory retains. Congratulations Mike and Deb, I hope you come home to a coiled house after Eric’s appointment.
It rained here while I watched the first half of the game but stopped so I could take a walk in cooler weather. I ended up with over 12,000 steps yesterday and already have close to 6000 this morning. Instead of joining a group walk I was smart and did my own walk and went to a labyrinth for a peaceful quiet meditation. Continuing to make me a better person😂

zazzles, I'm happy your remodeling project is almost done. I'm assuming you left the shower floor as they installed it; are you happy with the color? It looks like it would coordinate nicely with the bathroom floor. I love those blind corner pull outs. I watched a you tube video to see how it operates. That will be a wonderful addition to your kitchen. Thanks for including us in your photos so we could live vicariously through the project!

Home from salon. I chose oatmeal for breakfast. It was tasty but more points than I usually use. Moving on and smiling. Now waiting for dd to finish her appt. 😊
Zazzles: Yay! I know you’ll enjoy. Deb: Fingers crossed all will be complete soon. Fulmahina: Beautiful flower!
Have a great day everyone.

zazzles, I haven't been paying much attention, but I looked at your renovation blog tonight. It is absolutely wonderful. We renovated our kitchen 8 years ago and I still smile when I walk in there. I hope you enjoy every minute of cooking in your new kitchen!
