I'm IN.
It's cloudy and cool (low 60*s all day), with rain coming.
So we'll do indoor CinderElla/Fella tasks today.
But first... coffee and breakfast... ☕☕☕...
🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿 Have a healthy-eating day, all. 🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿

I'm IN. Not nearly as cool as diva49, but our morning temps were in the low 70s with really low humidity. That ends today as the heat and humidity will ramp up starting tomorrow. I'm hoping DebDoesWW gets her new A/C installed today. I'm planned and tracked. Hope everyone has a great day!

Yesterday I stuck to my eating plan perfectly, until the evening. Then I confess that for the first time in 6 days, I had a stress binge. I have tracked all of that binge food and will move on properly today. Actually, I don't know how bad the binge really was, because I wasn't exactly sure how to track one of the things I ate, which I ate a lot of. I mentioned my conundrum about how to track pb2 in a separate thread. If the nutrition info the recipe's author provided was correct, the binge wasn't THAT bad. If the calories per serving I calculated in MFP is correct, it was terrible.
It's raining this morning, but is supposed to stop in a little while. It would be good if I got some exercise in. I had been feeling really great for a number of weeks, but yesterday my mood really took a plunge. I got angry at my husband over something, which is rare, and then I started thinking about my nephew, who passed away almost exactly two years ago.

I'm in. Morning all! It won't get out of the sixties here with rain overnight and more rain later today. The plants certainly love it and are getting huge. We're hoping to get down to the boat this weekend, so I'll be trying to get chores and errands done ahead of time. Fingers crossed for you DebDoesWW , Enjoy the day!
cyndee, Good for you! It's always best to own it, track it and get right back on the horse.

Thanks. I started taking Zinc and C which should minimize the severity and length.

cyndee , sorry you're having a rough time right now. The binge is over---onward! zazzles , you're renovations look terrific! I know you must be smiling every time you walk into those freshly finished rooms---enjoy! And I hope your cold passes quickly. Good morning. I woke up this morning with a flare-up of an allergy to a med that I haven't taken for over a year. I was told that these flare-ups can persist for years after discontinuation of the med (ACE inhibitor) so this isn't exactly a shock to me. The flare-ups have been decreasing in number and severity but I never know when one is going to pop up. Right now my bottom lip looks like half of a little football, all shiny and swollen. I feel so pretty. So I am foregoing the WW meeting I was actually looking forward to. No need to have the public think that someone screwed up while injecting collagen into my lip. It's been raining for hours and I've been enjoying it. Finished everything in the front garden except some stuff I wanted to do with the rhododendron (amending the soil around them and feeding) so I am almost officially done with the that area except for maintenance. Maybe. DH called the plow guy yesterday. He is also a landscaper and hardscape guy and does walkways, patios, decks, retaining walls, etc. He has a great reputation here and does beautiful work. We decided that the slope coming off one side of the porch is too severe to plant on and too much of the cement foundation shows so we are going with a retaining wall. Filled with DIRT---clean, fresh, ROCK-FREE dirt---another garden!!! He is coming on Monday to give an estimate. Now I will have a place to put my plant nursery babies. Yes, this makes me happy. Staying home and doing housework chores and the final cleanup of my basement garden. I have a ton of lettuce, dill, and radishes to harvest and then it will all be put to bed until the fall. Wishing all a good day.

I woke up with a chest cold I recently read about elderberry products easing cold and flu symptoms. Evidently it's very common to use in Europe. It can be found in the U.S. at many drug stores, health food stores and grocery stores. The product is available in lozenges, syrup, capsules and even gummies. The scientific name is Sambucus nigra or sambucus canadenis. I read about this at the www.peoplespharmacy.comHope you recover quickly!

fullmahina, that's terrible that the reaction comes back like that. Is there anything that can help calm the swelling? My mother made elderberry wine when I was a kid. We had lots of elderberries. She made homemade root beer, too. I just recently told my dad how I remember that the root beer tasted wonderful. He said that it had a little alcohol in it.

fullmahina, that's terrible that the reaction comes back like that. Is there anything that can help calm the swelling? Since it is not your standard histamine-type reaction antihistamines have little effect. Still, the recommendation is to take Zyrtec and Pepcid (H2 blocker). The swelling can show up in your throat and cut off your airway and then you get intubated and spend a little time in ICU until the swelling goes down. They also can add steroids but again, that doesn't help much either. There is one hugely expensive treatment that actually works but it's basically reserved for those who have had recurrent life-threatening swelling of the throat with airway blockage. I've had some throat involvement at times but not enough to make me go to the ER. FYI, the reaction is called angioedema and you can hear it referred to in a lot of medication ads on TV---"can cause a potentially fatal swelling of face, lips, and throat." I know, TMI...
