I'm IN.
I'm exhausted.
I'm making a spreadsheet NOW, in self-defense.
Coffee will help... βββ... and ibuprofen...

Good morning all! I'm IN! It's definitely HUMP DAY today. My "to do" list is growing. I may have to borrow your spreadsheet, diva49,! The gulf is looking a little better for the Houston area but we'll know more in 24-48 hours. In the meantime, I've got my sprinklers coming on as it is hot, hot, hot. Waving hi to all!

Good morning. Iβm in.
Another high-fog start to the day. I think Mother Nature has Santa Clara confused with San Francisco.
I have an item to pack and take to the post office for return today; and I should think about cooking something. Nothing else going on.
Have a great day.

We got home late last night from a five day trip to the Berkshires area of Massachusetts and New York state. As part of the trip, we attended two concerts at the Tanglewood music festival. The majority of the trip was quite nice, but then on the way home on Monday, our car broke down. We waited about 5 hours in the sun in the boondocks for a tow. We had to wait most of the day yesterday for the car to be fixed. We had to spend the night in the town of the car shop, spending more money than planned. That town was at least pleasant. Hudson, NY.
After my pet bird died over a week ago, I had a bit of a binge period, gaining back 4 lbs I had lost. My eating wasn't that bad during the vacation (though definitely not perfect). I got on the scale this morning and found that the trip didn't cause further weight gain. I'm exactly the same weight as my last weigh-in. I have to go to the grocery store to restock my fridge. I'll officially start tracking again tomorrow. It's been a bit stressful. During my trip my father called to tell me that his brother died. I was not close to that uncle, but I feel bad for him and his wife and grand kids. They were dealt a rather bad deal in life in recent years. I also worry about my father. I've been calling him every single day since I learned of my uncle's death. My uncle's viewing is tomorrow and funeral on Friday. Funerals are often the only times we see a large number of extended family members. It's a shame that that's the case.

(((Cyndee))) I am so sorry for the loss of your bird as well S your uncle.
96 today and 100 or higher the next few days till Monday. I feel for the people in Ridgecrest where it will be 108 on Friday. It is the Mohave desert. I had a long cool early morning walk and will do some yard work before I get ready for lunch with some of the women from my club, They do a lunch bunch get together twice a month throughout the summer but I usually only go to one because I am picky about restaurants.

diva49,- you are an amazing woman with all you do for your family. They are so blessed. cyndee,- I'm so sorry for your recent losses. I agree that funerals are often the only time families get together. It is very sad. Did a lot of work at school yesterday. Staying home and going to try and really work on the house today- but dealing with a bit of a headache. Ham, green beans and potatoes in the crock pot for supper tonight. Stay safe and cool everyone. Stay hydrated in this heat!

((( cyndee))) bee how close to NO are you? Been watching TWC and keep getting alerts about the flooding already there. Be safe my friend, Also if any lurkers are in that area, we will hope that the storm shifts and the river predictions don't happen. Check in when you can.

Good news: WW is having a 50% off sale on Workshop+Digital membership. I got an email; Iβve been getting lots of email lately.
Bad news: the email was from and links to the U.K. WW site, NOT the U.S. site. The U.S. site is have a sale that is nowhere near as lucrative.
Guess the middle schoolers in IT got the wires crossed.
