Anne, it was truly despicable. At least Yang and Mayor Pete tried to rein it in but to no avail.
As far as the latest massacre just shoot him! I do not want to pay for his room or board or food. He is a cold blooded murderer and I'd be happy to shoot him myself. And here's the the thing, I honestly could do it. This is too much already!
An eye for an eye. He turned himself in? The cops should have shot him on the spot. If he was a rabid dog he would be dead by now. Why should a two legged rabid white boy be given more respect than man's best friend?
Put him down. Take his life away instead of making us pay to keep him breathing.
An eye for an eye. A life for 20 lives and maybe more.
Stop this friggin madness already! When will we say enough? How long must we wait for common sense to catch on? How many more innocent victims?
Put away your meaningless and stupid thoughts and prayers and take action to stop this insanity! A life for a life. Simple. Just friggin do it!
I am now a very picky bleeding heart liberal. My heart still bleeds for the victims. My heart is hardened and wants swift revenge for their cold blooded killer. I don't care about his life. He doesn't deserve to breathe. Shoot him!

I believe I do, Anne. Thank you. ðŸ˜
CNN says a nation accostumed to mass shootings mourn for The victims. No. I am not, nor will I ever be, accostumed to nut jobs shooting, killing, and maiming perfect strangers.
Nor am I accostumed to a madman bragging about how he could shoot people in broad daylight and people would still vote for him.
Both these human monsters need to be locked up, put in chains forever or completely destroyed.
Now I know why we kill people who kill people. It's Karma. It's reaping what they've sown. It's payback. An eye for an eye. It's time. If not now...when?
See? You're never to old to change your mind.

Pat, I am sending my thoughts and hugs out to you, because I know for you to advocate the killing of anything means you are hurting deeply.
This insanity has got to stop! We can't continue on this way. The first time I went to Grandparents' Day and my kindergarten grandson showed me what to do if a bad guy came into his school I went home and cried. Yet nothing has gotten better. It has only gotten worse.

It almost seems like one a day at this point. I honestly did not think this would prove prophetic. Over 90% of the public support universal background checks (what could be the possible objection to this?!) and 60% support banning assault weapons. Lindsay Graham said something to the effect that thoughts and prayers won't cut it any more. Could it be, is there finally the will to get something done?

My prayers are that people are waking up and going to finally DO something. As for why Congress doesn't pass universal background checks or for that matter any legislation to stop the madness, I think the reason is MONEY. The NRA and the gun manufacturers put lots of money into the coffers. So maybe the question we should be asking is just how much money is a life worth? I am so very discouraged, but I refuse to give up the fight.

Republicans will focus on the internet and mental health. Just you wait. ETA: And let's not forget video games. The Texas Governor actually trotted this one out (I think it was him, some Texas official anyway).

Yes, and I'm so sick of hearing how liberals want to take all guns away. When I see a post where someone says that (and I just did on FB) what that shouts to me is we don't care how many people are killed as long as we vilify liberals and refuse to listen to any of their suggestions or God forbid pass any legislation they might have input about. The person whose post I just saw on FB is actually married to a Bernie loving liberal. How she manages to stay married to him I don't know, but you'd think he'd know better. But no, they are all too indoctrinated with Fox propaganda and the propaganda put out by the NRA. This guy is a self-professed lifetime member of the NRA, and proudly proclaims it. Personally, I think it's something to be deeply ashamed of myself.

Well, personally, I would be OK with taking everyone's guns away. But I'm just crazy that way.

It's all about money. Everyone knows it. Money and the power and control that comes with it is our God. Perhaps that's why we have "In God We Trust" on our God. I mean our Money.
Lindsay Graham is a pathetic little two faced phony weak wimp. He makes me gag.
In about a week or two this outrage and endless babble about doing something will pass and not a damn thing will change.
Anyone who honestly believes a background check will save lives is delusional. If a lunatic wants to get semi automatic weapon he will get it and he will use it. Those who can prevent him from getting it will pray and think and pray and think some more, and the money from gun manufactures will keep rolling in. Until the next time and we will do and say the same meaningless nonsense one more time with feeling.
The most intelligent species on Earth? Says who? We do. Lol.

Joyce, thank you for the kind words. Sometimes I feel like I live in another world.
There is a show on Netflix called Stranger Things. A group of teenagers are constantly coming up against unbelievable, strange and dangerous Beings and situations. They call these encounters The Upside Down because it simply doesn't make any sense. It's illogical. How can that be?
Sometimes it feels as if so much about the US is strange and upside down. I don't get it. It makes me dizzy. How can people go along with this? How can kids in cages be ok? How can military killing machines be more important than the lives of our citizens? How can money be more important than the air we breathe or the water we drink?
It's upside down and very strange.

Yes, Pat, it seems that the world is totally upside down, and like you I can not understand it. Sometimes I wonder why I keep trying, and yet I refuse to admit defeat. Maybe I'm just extremely stubborn. Actually I am stubborn, but I prefer to think of that as being tenacious.

Joyce, if that link makes you sick I know you will understand why I don't want to see it. I'm sick and angry most of the time anyway. Lol.
It appears we'd be a safer nation if we put angry young white boys in cages for life and let the immigrants get back to work.

Good morning! Well, at least I'm going to try and make it be a good day here in my corner of the world if possible.
Just read in our local newspaper that the local Toyota plant may not do their planned expansion here because the JA in his deluded world vision has designated them as a national security threat. So that will mean some expected jobs may not be coming, which of course affects the economy of the entire area. Will things like this make people start waking up to reality? I wish.
So Toyota is a national security threat, but white supremacists are "good people."
